Yes, ChocEclair did have a profile with some lovely pics on it. How very if she has gone as she has been a great support to me and all of you of course. Was so looking forward to her birth so we could find out if she had a boy or girl.

Please come back ChocEclair

It was a little blip on an otherwise marvellous thread.

Oven has packed up again so the day has got even worse.

Hi all,

I'm really worried about CE too. She did seem really worried that she'd upset people with her suggestion about moving threads...

So glad I don't need to join in yet with the poo and wee stories - my time will come...

Spoke to MW today and she said that I will not be linked to my DSis at all in relation to social services so that was good news. Measured Jelly aswell and she's doing fine. Heartbeat was good and everything else seems to be going well.

I have to have a horried Glucose test at 28 weeks though - yuck... Anyone else had this and can give some advice? My other sister suggested using a straw to drink the glucose solution as it goes down a little easier and you don't taste it as much. Annoying really because Mum didn't get Diabetes until she was in her early 50s and that's when my Grandad got it too, so it's a late onset illness, but I still have to have the test even though Mum's tests were clear with all 5 of us...

Anyway, I'll pop on again in the morning to see if CE is around.

xxx

Have had a nightmare with Emma tonight as she got told off with some others for not tidying up and her friend said she didn't like her anymore. The upshot of this was that she never wanted to go dancing ever again so we drove to dancing to tell the teacher. I felt miffed as she is quite good and I've just bought brand new ballet shoes. Anyway, after a talk in the car she has agreed to try next week but I bet her foot suddenly hurts again then. Sophie in a pull up now as I've lost the will to live today.

Try again tomorrow Willmouse but thank goodness he did a poo.

Dawni-I just think your temp taking is a fairly accurate way of checking for OV but by all means miss out next month.

Dawni - if you've had gunge perhaps you are ovulating especially as you are bang on day 14. It may be worth a go. TMI alert - I got browny cm when ovulating - think you can bleed a little when it happens. We Bd on the night I got it and the night after...

HC - potty training sounds as if it is going better! I put a nappy on Ollie and as predicted he had a massive poo and has completely regressed. He is now back to hysteria at the thought of sitting on the potty and he was doing so well

Dawni · 26/02/2009 15:19

Good afternoon ladies, sounds like you've all had a nice day, including all the pooing and weeing and baby massaging..... I enjoyed my time at the hairdressers, a good chunk of ME time, i have a gift voucher for a facial and manicure which i really must use, my cousin bought me it in november for my birthday but being the silly cow i am i decided to keep it until i was pregnant !!! What a joke !!

Right HC and Willmouse I have decided i wont temp next month because as you say, i am reading far too much into the whole thing and i dont know where i am except to say i had horrible gunge with my discharge this morning, so i was right and i wont be pregnant yet again....DH was quite upset at this find and ive still a week and a bit to go as im only CD14. I nearly said balls to the whole thing and lets get a puppy !!!!
But its not quite the same {another big sigh}...I hate the waiting before we can try again, it seems to go on forever

Perhaps ChocEclair is having her baby. She was nesting remember. Willmouse-am still tired but not like in those first few weeks.

Came off the phone moaning to DH about the wees all over the house and Sophie was sat on the potty and said 'can you wipe my bottom?'. She had done a massive wee in it. Hasn't since and have to collect Emma from school and take her dancing so will have to put a nappy on her.

Laters!

CE - come back - where have you gone!

ray81 · 26/02/2009 12:45

Willmouse, You lucky thing you just remember that it is All worth it in the end as you will have a wonderful baby. I know its hard at the moment but it will pass.

I was very lucky with Emily as i didnt have any symptoms at all. I am hoping the next time around will be the same but probably not i will suffer badly as i had such an easy time with my first.

MrsPuddleduck · 26/02/2009 12:14

Sorry to talk about symptoms - the nausea I can just about cope with but I feel absolutely and completely exhausted from the moment I wake up to the moment I go back to bed

HC i dont have a chart and i am not very good with this computer thingy but i will try and you can follow it. This will be my first month of temping and will have to start tomorrow so that will be CD4 i hope it wont effect it too much.

The last time i fell i was on clomid and we Bd from CD8, CD10, CD12 got +opk on CD14 so bded 2 times a day for 3 days then had a break and bded again. This seemed to work for us that time even though it ended in MC but at least we know the Clomid works. I have to take aspirin everyday as they think i have a problem with clotting, TMI alert but when i dont take aspirin i get ALOT of clots when i bleed so have been taking it for the last 3 months and hope it gives us a hand. I have noticed i dont clot when i take it so that is a good sign.

If i get stuck with the charting i'll give you a shout and you'll have to help. He he.

As with the potty training it has been rather along time since we did it but from what i remember it was pretty easy (sorry not glooting or anything. MUCH) How old is your little one again? Sorry memory is Shite!!! Emily was about 2.5 when we did it and she was ready we did try when she was about 2 but she was getting cross and couldnt get the hang of it, i realy didnt want it to be a bad experience and stress us both out and so i left it another 6 months and tried again and she was dry as soon as she stopped wearing nappies both night and day. I think when they are ready they will do it mainly on there own so perhaps the trick is to wait awhile?

Ceebee74 · 26/02/2009 11:36

I'm back - the massage bit only lasted about 20 minutes and then we just chatted for a while. Sam seemed to enjoy it although he was far too busy nosying around at the other babies or holding the hand of the dummy baby the HV was using to demonstrate Hopefully he will go into a nice long sleep now

MJIM no idea why he is grumpy - has been for a couple of weeks - am beginning to think he is just a grumpy baby tbh. His default setting seems to be 'whinge' and me and DH joke that we can tell when he is asleep as he is quiet Just such a change from Josh who was always a very happy smily baby who rarely whinged or cried - but I guess they are all different eh? Good thing Sam sleeps so well at night otherwise I would be looking for a refund - I love him really!!

Willmouse I also reckon Ollie will poo in a nappy - I think that is quite common (not that I am an expert) - poor lad must be suffering a bit though.

Ray that book sounds fab and hopefully some of the tips will work for you. Glad the scan went well

HC I also heard that MS peaks at about 8-9 weeks and then starts to get gradually better - with both of my pgs it followed that pattern and was pretty much gone by 14 weeks.

MrsPuddleduck · 26/02/2009 11:29

Ray - did a combination of trying to BD every other night and CM checking. For me we BD on day13 then had loads of CM on day 15 so BD on day 15 and 16 and it worked!

HC - I am just going to let Ollie poo in a nappy. I remember letting Will do it for a few weeks until he felt comfortable doing it on the potty. In his defence I have put a nappy on him for his naps and to go on the school run and he hates weeing in there now. Happy to wee in trousers though . Day 1 and 2 were horrendous yesterday wasn't so bad and today would be bearable if it wasn't for the poo. Ollie is 3 at the end of March.

MJIM - don't talk about poo - you are making me jealous!

HumphreysCorner · 26/02/2009 11:23

Oh, and MS a tad more bearable but one of my AN ladies was told that a hormone surge from weeks 4-7 cause the sickness to be so bad then it starts to tail off a bit so being 9 weeks that would explain it-I hope!
