Hey bubble,
Me and DH have been trying for 5 years thats 50 months with 3 mc last in nov and last before that was 3 years before. its all very frustrating.

I wont have a scan or anything whilst on the clomid as it was given to me by the doc and just told to get on with it basically so will start charting etc on FF and also doing the OPKS to be sure. I realy hope it works for us this month.

Amy Test Test Test i want to know we need a BFP.

Ant have a lovely break wont you. it will be great

Iam so sorry af got you how bloody awful. we are close in cycle im on CD5 now so can support eachother this month.

Must go going ice skating !!! should be fun

Antdamm · 26/02/2009 18:56

Hey ladies,

lam sorry to hear thye witch got u, hopefully next month will be your month.
I was born in Dundee, but before we moved to Ireland we lived in a wee village called Errol. How about u??

amy If i were you, I'd test. Good Luck.

lam81 · 26/02/2009 17:28

hi girls

af arrived today gutted!! i'm finding it really hard not revolve my life around ttc,its pissing me off,on the plus side i have a few really good nights out planned in the next couple of weeks so will be able to go out and drink at them (would stil rather be missing them thru pgncy tho)

anyway i no i shouldn't moan as at least i'm regular unlike some of u guys on here

hi mum and good luck, ray good luck with meds no someone who recently conceived using clomid, bubble i hope the relaxed method works for u,but if ur anything like me u'l never be relaxed and ant ahhh bonnie scotland thats where i live born and bred, which part u visiting?

any dont no how u can resist testing, much willpower!!good luck x

crunchynutter · 26/02/2009 17:16

Hi all- do you mind if i join? I am 24 (as of last thursday!) and have been TTC since stoping th DP injection June although AF only returned November. I am on CD 27 or 28 today so have my fingers and everything else crossed! xx

amyboo · 26/02/2009 15:00

I'm 2 days late and trying not to stress about testing... No symptoms apart from 5 days of cramping and spotting at the end of last week/start of this week.

My parents are arriving this evening for the weekend, so I'm going to test after they've gone if there's still no sign of af. I've only been through one cycle since coming off the pill at the end of December, so I don't know if I could just be on a longer cycle... January was exactly 28 days, so I thought the spotting was af. But, it was really light, and there's been no sign since Tuesday.

tries to stay sane and not symptom spot

Antdamm · 26/02/2009 14:44

Hey ladies,

I've been busy packing our bags - we are going to Scotland for the week!!! Well, in March - Yay.

Havent been up to much, just having a BD marathon since AF left (sorry TMI) I no its a bit early to be getting started, but DP doesnt seem to mind

How is everyone else??

bubblebell1 · 26/02/2009 13:41

ray fingers crossed for this cycle then.. what cd are you on? will you get a scan to see if the clomid is working.. i sound such a novice it must of been terribly frustrating to not get any answers when you wernt falling how long have you been trying?

i had been using fertility friend to temp and check cm and cervix position, oh and opks too but after the mc i am gonna have some time out from it. fingers crossed it happens with the relaxed approach.

its been just over a week since i started bleeding and already im feeling lost without my daily ritual of temping and knicker checking . relaxed just doesnt suit me. i like to obsess it gives me something to think about. so maybe next month i will revert back to my old ways.

xxxx

ray81 · 26/02/2009 12:52

Bubble,

I have had the clomid before, last year and i fell on the second month of taking it unfortunatly i Miscarried but we used the Clomid and the Deannas plan at the same time so will do that again this month along with temping and checking CM. Hopefully it will work again.

I was pescribed clomid because we just arent falling pregnant, there isnt actually a problem with my Ovulation at all but it seems that i need more than one egg to fall as with just the one it is NOT happening. Its all very strange.
I do have some preseed and may use it ths month but when i took the Clomid before it didnt have an effect on my CM, infact the only thing that it did effect was giving me hot flushes, hopefully it will stay thesame this time, although i did take my first tab last night and was very sleepy this morn and if a remember i had that last time too. but if thats all i am going to get then its worth it i reckon.

Are you temping or anything just read a book that swears by temping and checking Cm and it makes alot of sense i am going to start doing that.

bubblebell1 · 25/02/2009 14:52

mum i have 2 little boys, ds1 aged 7 and ds2 is 2. i concieved them in the first months of ttc. this time i havnt been so lucky... i came off the pill in oct and my period didnt turn up til jan. i fell pg that cycle and miscarried. so here i am again. i do hope you get lucky.

ray i am keeping everything crossed that you get lucky this time round. have you tried deannas plan??? maybe along side the clomid you could strike lucky? Have u had clomid before? if you dont mind me asking is it because you dont ov that u are pescribed it? do you use preseed while your using clomid??? apparantly... and i am a complete novice and have no experience with clomid.... your bits become dry and i know that this can sometimes help

ray81 · 25/02/2009 13:03

oh you didnt upset me just thinking aloud, dont worry i am fine honestly.

It would be so nice to be like that.

i do wish you the best of luck i wouldnt wish what i'm going through on anyone

mum2madkids · 25/02/2009 12:45

Im sorry ray

I didnt mean to upset anyone, i want to be a support to others. I realise that alot of people have a really hard time of it and i dont mean to upset anyone.

ray81 · 25/02/2009 12:42

Well with your record you should be pg at the end of this cycle then. Goodluck.

God i wish it was that easy for me

mum2madkids · 25/02/2009 12:35

Yeah, my twins were natural after 3 months of TTC.

It took only 1 month to concieve my 15 month old.

I am only on my first month of TTC for the next baby, but thought i would come and see you all in here to share the ups and downs with you all x

ray81 · 25/02/2009 12:30

Bubble, we also took the relaxed approach after mc and now 3 months later i'm ready to start trying again properly. Will start taking the clomid again tonite and see how it goes this month.

Hi Mum2madkids welcome were your twins concieved naturaly? How long have you been trying this time ?

mum2madkids · 25/02/2009 12:18

Hi, i will try and read the thread and catch up in a bit!

I am on CD 18 (i have 28 day cycles).

bubblebell1 · 25/02/2009 12:08

Hi and welcome mum2madkids good luck whereabouts are you in your cycle?

Ray sorry to hear AF got you. evil biatch! Good luck for this cycle.
i stopped bleeding a few days ago and i had a 0 level in my hcg bloodtest so dr said i could try again when i wanted. Im gonna keep trying but im not using opks or temping. Gonna try the relaxed approach. Im not fussed if i dont fall immediatly coz i dont really want a xmas baby. Altho saying that i wouldnt mind too much if it did happen. just thought that it wouldnt be fair on ds' if i was having baby over xmas.. i dunno... i will get what i am given i suppose.

ray81 · 25/02/2009 11:59

Morning all,

i was on my 2ww and then couldnt hold on and tested yesterday was BFN and then Af arrived typical. wish i hadnt tested.

I have a scan today too which will be pleasant im sure !! NOT !!

i am going to start with clomid again this month and the SME plan as this is what worked for us when we fell in nov fingers crossed.

How are yyou feeling Bubble has the bleeding stopped are tou going to start trying again straight away?

Joy27 · 25/02/2009 11:58

Hello mum, welcome. What a lovely big family you have, lucky you!

bubble yeah I suppose there's an outside chance we could have conceived. But I won't be holding my breath, that's for sure!

bubblebell1 · 25/02/2009 11:54

Morning joy!

Glad to have you back altho sorry to hear about your cystitus.. I hope you do get lucky this month and technically you could. If you had EWCM and oved in the few days after cd11 then you could of still caught. fingers crossed

Sorry AF arrived josie, try and look forward to ttc this month. I always find keeping proactive and doing something different makes me feel like i am doing something to try and get pg. especially as conception is something you have no control over. Re the opks i think that you should perhaps test for a few days longer to cover a short or long cycle. There is a good website that gives you a plan to follow. Thats if you want to. try googling Deannas plan and it should come up. hth

lam you could still get a bfp. hang in there. xxx

Hi to everyone else. Good luck to those on the 2ww and testing soon.

xxxxxx

mum2madkids · 25/02/2009 11:40

Hiya, can i join you? I am 23 years old and am TTC baby number 4. My other children are 4 (twins) and 15 months old.

Joy27 · 25/02/2009 11:20

Hello ladies, I've been away too so just trying to catch up.

Josie I feel your pain. It seems my cycle gets longer every month, so every month I think I'm late and get all excited.

bubble, I'm glad things are drawing to a close for you now and you haven't need any medical intervention.

For all those waiting, good luck! And try not to test until you are properly late. I'm lucky in that I never get that urge to test, in fact I've done two tests in the whole 9 months we've been ttc. I just hope I stay that way...

As for me, I'm on CD17 but there isn't much suspence in this 2ww. I would be totally floored if we had conceived this month. Despite a good effort up until CD11, I was then hit with the double whammy of a work trip away and now a terrible bout of cystitis, so we haven't since then and won't for the next few days until I'm better.

It's very frustrating... it seems something always comes up every month to foil our plans to ttc at the right time. Does anyone else experience this?

Josie22 · 24/02/2009 15:17

Hi everyone

Fairyanne, Yummymummy and Lam - I am keeping everything crossed for you all!

Bubble, hope the bleeding has stopped and that all else is well with you.

Well, I didn't need to test as AF arrived four days late on Friday morning. Grrrrrr. Of all the months to be late it would have to be the first month of me TTC. I haven't had a cycle length of over 24 days for a year and then this month its 29! What?s that about. Also, was going to do some ovulation test but now I am thrown as to what day to start it on ? do I base it on 21 or 29? Anyone with any advice it would be gratefully received- seem to completely lack common sense at the moment.

lam81 · 23/02/2009 20:13

well i'v just f*cked my whole plan up by testing earlier on tonight bfn,was so good at staying away from the tests until dh went out and couldn't resist,it was a crappy wee e bay number and they dont work very well before af is due at least thats what i'm tellin myself

i now feel shit and wish i hadn't tested so learn from me fairy and stick to the plan,so from now until thurs i need to hope it was wrong an that af doesn't show,v annoyed at myself!!!

i'm so obsessed i'm considering startng a thread asking others opinions on the crappy e bay numbers

hope everyone is ok x

fairyanne · 23/02/2009 13:11

Hi Everyone,

I am just catching up as have been away for a few days.

Bubble- so so sorry to hear your news I applaud how you are coping with a very difficult experience. I can't imagine how you are feeling but send lots of hugs to you at this time.

Josie, have you tested?

Ant - Very frustrating but in some way arrival of AF is more reasuring maybe that tests or investigations? I hope that things are more regular for you from now on as it must be such an emotional rollercoaster not knowing...

Iam81 - yes I am waiting too! Due on on Friday, and doing a really bad job of not symptom spoting too and trying to resist the urge of early testing. I'm spotting all the cliche's...metallic taste, cramps fo a few days (now gone but woke me up this morning), feeling very tired etc etc. I do this every month so am trying not to get hopes up. I've decided to wait to until no AF friday/ Sat....oooo its ages away!

bubblebell1 · 23/02/2009 09:36

morning lam... not long too wait til you can test.. ive got everything crossed for you
