All of us, Suzi!

Good luck when you test on Sat. I know exactly what you mean about putting off disappointment. That's exactly why I've left it so long.

I would take nausea as a promising sign. One of things which makes me doubt that I'm up the duff is that I have had no nausea whatsoever. In fact I feel incredibly sprightly! But then when I was pg before my mc last year, I had no symptoms other than, er, big nips.

Oh god I do hope all of us testing this week get some good news. I just feel that I have "paid my dues", you know? Of course I realise it doesn't work that way, unforunately...

SuziBhoy · 18/03/2009 14:54

hey everyone... congrats lissy

yeah im at testing point too... not going to test until saturday though.. not sure why though (maybe to delay dissappointment), but i was sick this morning which could also be from the wine i had night before!! im not symptom spotting i promise

i can feel another bfp coming our way girls... whos it going to be!!!

Joy27 · 18/03/2009 12:30

Wow Lissy, that's brilliant news, and amazingly quick, lucky you!

Have decided to test tomorrow night (Thurs) if I don't start my period, rather than waiting til Saturday. We will have the house to ourselves, and as you say bubble, being 9 days late means I don't have to use FMU.

CD38 today. Still no af, still got extremely bizarre taste in my mouth. No more streaks of blood.

Officially daring to dream over here...

I'm going to be crushed (and concerned as to what's up) if it's a BFN. But that's the nature of the beast I suppose.

Rtuff and Suzi, are you testing tomorrow too?

seanybosmummy · 18/03/2009 09:36

hi rtuff good luck with ur b'test results!!!

I think suzi is at testing point tomorrow, and i will be there on sunday.

I was going to test on sat but i think i will just wait til af is a day late.

Rtuff · 18/03/2009 09:25

Hi everyone...
Big Congrats Lissy!! I wish it was that quick for all of us!!

1 day to go for me!!!! Desperate to test now... but as i've already missed fmu today it definitely now has to wait till tomorrow....

I'm also getting results back from bloodtest today so it seems its all happening at once!!

Who else is at testing point??

seanybosmummy · 18/03/2009 08:53

joy just thought this mite be useful: when i was preg with ds (quite early on, about 6 wks i think) i had a couple of streaks of blood when i wiped and then nothing after that. have no idea what it was as it was obviously not implatation at that stage, but maybe thats the same for you if you have got a little person in there.

Anyway ive got everything crossed for you and i really hope u get your bfp.

seanybosmummy · 18/03/2009 08:46

oh forgot to say hello and good luck to verycherry xx

seanybosmummy · 18/03/2009 08:45

congrats lissy!!

joy GO TEST! the suspense is killing me!! i liked the joke btw hehe. i agree with bubble though, u prob wont need fmu this late on in ur cycle

rtuff i am def just going to wait until after af is due (due 22nd) as i tested the other day and got bfn so at least if i hold off if i am preggers then ive a better chance of getting my BFP!

ray good luck at ur docs app today. let us know how u get on

Bubblebell1 · 18/03/2009 08:00

congratulations Lissie thats brilliant news

LissyGlitter · 17/03/2009 21:57

I think I may have a record...BFP! I'm shaking. We only did it once without protection! Not telling anyone for a bit though. I'm dying to shout it from the rooftops

Bubblebell1 · 17/03/2009 16:16

joy u dont have to use a fmu this far on in your cycle. you could do it this evening and u still get chance to let it settle in.

ray im keeping my fingers crossed that u still get lucky even with low progesterone

Joy27 · 17/03/2009 15:26

Ray, that sounds very frustrating. I'm sorry you are going through these issues. I don't know anything about hormones and whatnot, apart from what you've just told us. But it does sound like you ought to push for tests etc. I hope your doctor listens to. Have you booked an appt?

Bubble- I know, I should just test. This "am I aren't I" is wearing thin now (for you guys as well as me I would imagine)- my dp and I even have a running nightly joke now: "it's day 37 in the big mother house"... But I'm still-
a) terrified of getting a -ve.
b) fixated on having a private moment and some time to digest the news if it is a +ve.
Which would make a weekday morning not ideal.

If I don't test before Sat, I must at least stop worrying about spotting etc. As for CM, I've had all sorts in the last few days: watery, creamy, even EWCM. Something is definitely afoot... and hopefully eventually ahand, ahead, alittleface etc...

Sorry bad joke.

I should shut up about it now, or just test. So scared to test though. After the mc and months of trying, I can't believe it could really be true.

ray81 · 17/03/2009 13:40

Hi guys. Good god lots of happenings on here cant believe we are at testing point already for some of you.

Joy - try not to worry too much like Bubble said could be implanting. Whats is CM like as i have read in my fertility bible 'taking charge of your fertility' that just before Af you get alot of WATERY cm as this is the top layer of the lining coming away before af arrives. I get this every month and know from now on that thats what it is. I think Pg CM is thick and creamy.

Bubble - so sorry Af got you i was so hoping this was your month how annoying. however time to start again and make sure you Bd LOADS this month.

Well i started Temping this month and have found that i have a slight problem as although my temp went up after Ov it then proceded to drop back down and again and is below the control line. This is NOT a good sign and would indicate a problem with LOW progesterone, i have a docs appointment for tomorrow and have ordered some progesterone cream from the internet but am very as i took the clomid this month and am now convinced that it wount have worked.
Basically progesterone softens the lining of the womb so that the egg can inbed and if mine is low then we could have been fertilisiing an egg every month but not falling because of this problem and on the months it has been alittle higher i have fallen but then losts as there clearly wasnt enough.
Its great in the sense that hopefully this is the problem and can now be fixed but worried docs will fob me off or refer me to fertility clinic and i will be waiting another 6 months before anything happens.

Sorry to rant guys hope everyone is having a lovely day in the sun shine.

Bubblebell1 · 17/03/2009 13:11

joy i know its easy to say but try not to worry. it could be normal early pregnancy spotting. the only way you can know either way is to test. if i were you i would test but its your call and testing wont necessarily stop the spotting or stop you worrying. im afraid it doesnt stop once you are up the duff. you will worry about everything. thats what mums do

Joy27 · 17/03/2009 10:30

ps they were very small streaks.
Sorry for vom-inducing details.

Joy27 · 17/03/2009 10:29

Hi verycherry and lissy- good luck!

Right, this is going to be really quick as I'm working, but I just wanted to say that af still hasn't arrived- now Day 37.

However, I am a bit worried as knickerwatch (like Baywatch but less glamorous) has revealed (TMI ALERT!) three thin, dark streaks of dried blood since yesterday afternoon. Nothing apart from that and quite a lot of CM.

Could this be af on the way? Or a sign of pregnancy? Either way I don't think I can wait until Saturday and might test tomorrow.

How is everyone else?

Rtuff · 17/03/2009 09:16

joy - You are incredibly patient!!! I'm due between now and Thursday (irregular cycle) but i did test last week - Far Far to early I Know!!

Seany Have you tested again? Or are you playing the waiting game?

I'm so tempted to test now but like you guys said a couple of days ago, blissfull ignorance is always a good feeling, and the fact that i still have hope for this month. But i too was on Anti-biotics for a UTI early on in the month and am not sure if this would affect chances of conceiving... does anyone know????

verycherry26 · 17/03/2009 07:06

Hello,

I'm completely new to this! My boyfriend and I have been talking about TTC for a long time and have decided (as of Sunday!) to stop trying not have a baby and see what happens!

I'm 26 and we have been together for 3 years.

It's all very exciting and will be nice to talk to people in the same position!

Fingers crossed for all of us! xxx

LissyGlitter · 16/03/2009 22:38

Me and my man are keeping it a total secret, but last night we did it without any contraception...this will be number two for us and I'm 24. I dunno if we belong in this thread, because we're not exactly trying, but we're not being careful not to, if that makes sense...I feel so excited!

SuziBhoy · 16/03/2009 22:08

thanks all.... i am due on thursday but trying not to test until saturday.. like thats going to happen

seanybosmummy · 16/03/2009 21:03

oops my bad Joy cd36 is still pretty amazing though!!

i will keep everything crossed for you and suzi, and myself of course !!

Joy27 · 16/03/2009 17:06

seany I'm not that patient! Am on CD36 today. CD41 is Saturday when I'm planning to test. As the hours tick by though and my period still hasn't arrived, I am going slightly mad, and may cave before then.

Suzi when is af due for you? I'm not sure about ewcm after conceiving- I know I've had random shows of it on CD22 and CD33 (ie after period due) this month- so hopefully it's a sign that we're knocked up!

seanybosmummy · 16/03/2009 16:55

Joy i will try my hardest to hold on til then-i know that is the sensible thing to do!!

Im still in disbelief that you are on cd41 and you have yet to give in to the temptation!! good on you!!!

suzibhoy im not too sure about the ewcm after conceiving, i cant remember what symptoms i had with ds.

SuziBhoy · 16/03/2009 15:27

oh bubble sorry to hear that... but glad to hear your in good spirits!! good luck for next cycle!!

seany its prob way too early for a result, but uv got me wanting to test lol.... bought tests today and they are calling me

has anyone had any experience with ewcm after concieving..... just wondering if its af on its way??

Joy27 · 16/03/2009 14:17

Oh seany, you caved! But don't be too disheartened, 6 days is really early so even you are preggers it might not show up yet.

Can you bear to wait until the weekend?
