wishing I know what you mean, my best mate is pregnant. We found out we both were a week apart last Aug, she is due end of April and mine would have been due beginning of May.

It's been hard at times because being her mate I've been there for her and helped get the bits and boobs she needs, but I do know that when my time finally comes, she'll do the same

Wishing · 31/01/2009 12:05

hello everyone, thanks for kind words, feel much better today, think thast has a lot to do with logging back on to mn though!!

still no af and today is cd 46, had some cramps today but went for a really big poo - sorry if too much info! but feel a bit better now.

my pregnant friend has just been round to see me too and i havent been reduced to tears which is a goo thing, we would have been due the same day July 3rd but i wasnt so luck i just really hope im pregnant before she is due or im not sure i will cope very well, she is 18 weeks now!

Anyway im not going to start crying again, did really well yesterday only cried once so hoping for none today, unless af pays an appearence then i cant make any promises!! But i giess on a positive i can move on!!

Hi girl, I now remember you saying your mum had it, didn't know it was on going while she was pg tho, that makes me feel better. I wasn't half as bad as I am know when I had dd, in fact I think it might have been pregnancy and cs that sparked it off. I can't cut gluten out yet until they confirm diagnosis or my insides will start healing and there will be nothing for them to see when they biopsy. I'm just hoping I get my results sooner rather than later!

girlwithacurl · 31/01/2009 10:29

Hi small, the only treatment for coeliac is cutting out wheat, can you try to do that anyway, won't do you any harm? I think i might have mentioned this, but my mum is coeliac and she had 3 kids no probs, so i think you should still keep trying just in case. She did loose loads of weight when she was pregnant, and as it was undiagnosed at that point kept eating doorstep sandwiches, which obviously made her worse. but i was fine... debatable i guess

smallone · 31/01/2009 09:22

Morning all, sorry for the lack of personals, but I seem to read this thread everyday and by the time I finish I don't have time to post, so I sort of lose track of things! So hello to everyone!

I also have the obsessive cleaning thing when people are coming round, sad really as I never pay attention to what other peoples houses are like when I visit them, well except the bathroom, but I used to be a cleaner so its sort of a habit.

I'm testing on the 9th which is 17 days after ov so hopefully that should do it, if af doesn't scupper me before hand of course! Not sure how I'll feel if I am pg, am suspected coeliac, which untreated causes infertility and miscarriage. Part of me wonders whether I should give up until I've been diagnosed, but that will take months and I might not have it, in which case I will have missed out on months of trying.

Hi jumping long time no see.. we have missed you. i hope you are lucky this month. 8 cycles is a long time

half i normally move over to the next thread but linger on the old 1 to see how my cyber buddies are gettin along

well. cd28 today no sign of af. not even a lil bit of pms or on the other hand no pg symptoms either..That might change as tomorrow i have 35 ppl coming for ds2s birthday party i must of lost track of who i invited... altho its only a few friends its mainly family as i am 1 of 7 and dh is 1 of 5. i can picture myself later wit pinny on screaming at dh to make sure everywhere is tidy for tomorrow. (sad obsession i have when ppl are coming round, everywhere has to be spotless) ive got loads of baking to do and presents to wrap.

i dont think i even ovulated this month even tho ff said i did. (tmi sorry) my mooey was drier than ghandis flip flop on the days they said i was fertile so think that my cycles are still all over the place.

Regretfully leaving this thread and shuffling over to November as AF arrived today 3 days early!

Hope those of you left on the wait have beeter luck than me

JumpingJellyfish · 30/01/2009 22:29

Hello all, been absent for ages, but think I've kind of caught up with the thread! Congrats all those with BFPs, and sorry for those whose AFs have arrived.

I think although the list puts me as CD20 I'm on CD21, but it's been a busy busy month so kind of lost track, and I have to say am not letting myself get my hopes up as this is cycle 8 and am getting fed up of TTC and the rollercoaster of it (already- sorry for those who've been on it for a lot longer than me, esp. those TTC#1). Did manage quite a bit of BDing but didn't bother with temping/charting/OPKs etc. just relied on EWCM and think I ov'd sometime between CD12 & CD14. My cycle recently has been around 25 days long so not long to wait now. Determined not to test though until definitely late as sick of seeing BFNs and AF then arriving a day or 2 later!

Halfmum- I have always moved onto the next months thread whenever AF arrives, except once as my cycle is pretty short I would have been potential due twice in a month (iyswim!). But tbh it is getting a bit depressing, finding it hard too to keep track to people on the threads, so think this could be the last TTC thread I subscribe to for a while Really hoping the boobs are a good sign! Know for me they were the first sysmptom with my previous pregnancies (but never symtom spotted then as fell v quickly each time and knew just by AF being late...).

Right, meant to be doing some work ...

Good luck all

PS. Wishing- remember you from the August thread- sending you loads of good luck and really hope this time you get your answer clearly and soon!

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 30/01/2009 21:40

Hi all. Thought I would check in. As you can see I am an evening mumsnetter. Still got sore boobs. If not pg at least have decent sized chest in compensation. Am also eating like a horse and in a bad mood all the time.

Innocent question - do all the graduates move onto another thread after they are done here??

Wishing · 30/01/2009 16:51

Thanks everyone, no point doing one now is there, might as well wait until sunday which will be past 46 days then and use fmu, i have only had a cup of tea today but fmu is better yeah!! xxx

Oh has anyone seen my pother post about cm?? I have quite a bit, sticky and its sometimes leaving a brownish tinge in my pants, 2 weeks ago i had loads and its come back over the last few days!!

earlynite · 30/01/2009 16:46

Oooooo new MN. Feeling much better today thanks. ITS FRIDAY

girlwithacurl · 30/01/2009 16:44

ok wishing its your call, you're right those symptoms are confusing, could be AF or PG. Will keep my fingers crossed for you, and we are here for you in the mean time!

Wishing · 30/01/2009 16:34

really really tierd and boobs are sore but do feel enlarged and occasionally a bit achey, not comfortable to lie on my front! Crying over the drop of a hat but i know all these could be signs of af coming! had a few cramps and a bit of constipation which has got worse over the last few days - i guess im waiting to pass 46 days as i have had a 46 day cyle before xxxx

girlwithacurl · 30/01/2009 16:31

Hi wishing, i guess you need to decide which is worse, the wondering and not knowing, or the BFN. How long is your usual cycle? I agree with bubble i think you need to do a test. i too dread the BFN, but it might not be! If i was you I would rather know...

Any other symptoms?

Wishing · 30/01/2009 15:55

Thanks bubblebell, im just frightened, dont want to see that bfn we all dread!! xx

bubblebell1 · 30/01/2009 15:51

hi wishing welcome back

im sorry to hear your feeling down. perhaps you should do a test. just to make sure. you are either late or pregnant babe

Hello Ladies

Does anyone remeber me!?

Im still here ttc, was completely able to put ttc behind me over xmas but all of a sudden this week i seem to have sunk to depression, no af and i have no idea whats going on???

I no some of you will remember me as reg symptom spotting etc but i can promise you since i was unlucky just before xmas i havfent been think about this at all, bit this week i havent been able to get out of my dressing gown or stop crying over nothing, im telling myself this is just bad pms and this is the first day i have let myself log back on to mn!! I darent test though i havent had a period since 16th Dec - came late on though about 9pm!.

Any advice ladies, today is day 45 i think counting the 17th as cd 1.

i see there asre so many new faces as well as some old faces - and there is a few faces i cant see, congrats to anyone who has graduated while i have been gone and good luck to anyone who like me is still hoping and wishing! xxxx

eeyore2 · 30/01/2009 11:15

Hi girls, earlynight I hope you are feeling less anxious today. I am TTC for a first baby and keep thinking about how much everything will change and all the lovely things in my life that I would have to give up... but then the overhelming urge to reproduce washes over me and it is all forgotten again! The other thing I try to remind myself is that the changes in your life-style / money worries etc are all probably quite short-term, but a baby is forever!
Bubble - are you ok? Poor you. Do you know if you ovulated? I really hope you don't end up with another endless cycle-from-hell.

WizzyWoo · 30/01/2009 10:21

Morning All. Early how are you feeling today? I keep having the same kind of thoughts as you, but usually depending on what DD's behaviour has been like each day. One day I can't wait to be pg and have #2 but others I panic about what if I am pg because DD's tantrums + new baby would be too much to cope with... then follows another panic that the previous panic has jinxed me - this ttc business has me all over the place, believe it or not, I'm renowned by colleagues for being "the calm one"!!

I'm desperately trying to hold off testing early but I can't stop thinking about it. I thought my cycle was 31 days, which it had been since laparoscopy last year but it always used to be 28 days. But I think I ov'd on day 14 of my cycle, which presumably would make it 28 days? So in theory, I could test on Sunday, which would be cd28... oh, I'm so confused and impatient - someone slap me!!

Ralphie0956 · 30/01/2009 09:55

Morning Ladies, it's just amazing that we can find out so many things almost instantly or at a click of a button, but yet have to wait what seems and feels like a lifetime in order to find out whether we are pregnant! go figure?

Sorry for those of you who got AF, she's so damm mean

bubblebell1 · 30/01/2009 09:47
