Im not sure if i would be oct or nov baby after this cycle but im gonna stick on this thread for now i think!

your dr sounds like she wants to help bubble which is always a fab sign, like smallone says at least you didnt just get a wait and see. She seems to have some ideas of directions you could go even if she isnt sure where is best to start!!

i hate that af has arrived but i hate the hanging on too bubble and girl with a curl that you 2 are going through so i hope you get your answers sooooo soon!! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Fingers crossed for you eeyore! enjoy!! [

WarmSeaBreeze · 03/02/2009 19:56

Hurray!!! Congratulations hackneybird xxx

hackneybird · 03/02/2009 19:42

Hi all

Is there anyone left on this thread? Just wanted to whisper that I got a BFP. Only a faint one, as I am only 3 days late. I felt really bizarre today and had no sign whatsoever of impending AF, so decided to use a first response. And bingo, a pink line all the same.

Am in shock, happy, but not able to feel truly celebratory. I had a MMC this time last year, so already preparing myself in case it all goes wrong.

Much love to all,

HB
xx

eeyore2 · 03/02/2009 15:24

Thanks bubble and GOOD LUCK with the tests!

smallone · 03/02/2009 14:40

Hi bubble glad your doc hasn't just fobbed you off with "wait and see". I'm sure someone on mn could advise on when best to take test. If I see AF I'll point her in your direction

bubblebell1 · 03/02/2009 14:16

well dr was nice but she didnt really know much... she was just going by what i said and i had read all the info on here...

she refered me for a scan and blood tests thyroid testosterone and progesterone she said to do a day 21 blood test but said she didnt know when to do the test.... either today. or use opks and a week after a surge has been detected or wait for next AF and count 21 days.... so dont know what i am supposed to do hopefully AF will show up and give me some answers.

eeyore i have crossed my fingers you ovulate and girl im hoping yo uget some answers too xx

girlwithacurl · 03/02/2009 10:50

Hello... bubble hope you get some answers!

I still have no sign of AF either, but another BFN this morning... am truly fed up with this now! now on CD42 and 15DPO... this seems so unfair as if i am out for this month we can't even start trying again for another 3 weeks.

eeyore2 · 03/02/2009 10:15

Good luck bubble, I hope the doctor's appointment goes well.
Sorry to all the people with AF! I am just coming up to the BD stage now, quite excited about it but desperately hoping to ovulate rather then face another 60 day cycle.

bubblebell1 · 03/02/2009 07:37

Morning girls

STILL no af but go the drs this morn. quite a relief to get to see the dr without the kids. DH is home today so he can watch them and i can explain to the dr without 'get down, sit still and be quiet'

dont really know what im saying to her or if she can help it just feels to me i am doin something and making sure there is nothing wrong with me.

i use preseed... its a god send when ur not really in the mood.. apparantly it mimics ewcm so helps the lil swimmers stay inside til ovualtion

sorry AF got some of you..... ( i am secretly jealous)

well i am obviously out for a oct baby but i dont think im on track for a nov baby either where do i go?????

Morning ladies
AF showed up this morning so im out this month. Feel pretty rubbish as i just assumed it would happen straight away as it did with my 3dc when i wasn't even trying!!! Good luck to all those on the 2ww.

Wishing · 02/02/2009 20:07

sorry to you warm breeze, bummer isnt it! sending you lots of love xxxx

WarmSeaBreeze · 02/02/2009 19:50

Hi Ladies I am out this month. Good luck to u all xxx

Wishing · 02/02/2009 15:43

thanks late starter, just ordered some and 50 opk tests, im going to start testing from cd 11 just to make sure and use preseed around ov time!
i used persona a few months ago and got a positive on that on cd 15 but went on to have a 46 day cycle, well dr thought i had an early mc in the end, but this month i have had another 46 day cycle so im just gonna up the baby dancing, chart everything and also test for ov twice a day from cd 11 then i can keep a good track of whats going on i reckon!!

New kitchen sounds like a good idea getting started, though i dont want dh getting tierd out this month, need him on top form for bding!!

xxxxxxxxxx

gettingstarted · 02/02/2009 15:22

Hello again, I've found the perfect solution to thinking about ttc so much - put a new kitchen in. Mind you it leave B**ger all chance for ttc. Least if I don't have a bean this month I will have a new kitchen. Maybe I should work my way through the house whilst we are trying! Good luck all symtom spotters

latestarter2009 · 02/02/2009 14:58

bad luck on AF wishing and good on you for thinking positively

i used preseed twice and i found it really helpful if you're trying to get the maximum bding in, but aren't really up for it IFYKWIM

i think there is just one brand actually called pre-seed and i got it from www.smefertility.com

are you using an ovulation predictor sticks....i use the clearblue digital one as it's helpful to see a definitive smiley face as a positive that hormone surge has started.........if i'm not lucky this month, i think i will also get the clearblue fertility monitor so you know all the other maximum fertile days without too much thinking

good luck!

Just wanted to say Bubble, know how you feel - I have cycles anywhere from 28 days (just once) up to 70 days too, and once AF took six months to appear. Not sure why.

It's a pain as you feel kinda helpless waiting for your body to work it's way through your cycle.

I mentioned it to my doctor years ago when I wasn't ttc and she said you can still get pregnant even if you aren't having periods so use contraception.

I'm pretty confident i know when i'm ovulating but I'm just so used to never knowing when to expect AF, that i've decided i'm not going to test until well into mid Feb, then at least if it's a negative it doesn't feel quite so long to wait for AF to appear, and if it's a BFP, at least I'm halfway through the first 12 weeks, which'll save a bit of worrying while waiting for the scan.

Ralphie0956 · 02/02/2009 09:47

Morning Ladies, not been able to make it to work today as no public transport, what a fantastic excuse lol.

AF due Friday have got really snore nipples and breasts feeling heavy. Have had cramps from last week which seem to come and go.

Not gonna test until Friday as I think I'm one of those women who don't generate HCG early!

Updated the list hopefully done it correctly.

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying the snow! I am one of the only people in my office right now because I live close to work and nobody else has managed to get in. Bubble - thinking of you, I know how it feels and desperately hope something turns up soon. Good luck everyone else.

smallone · 02/02/2009 09:00

Welcome late

Hi wishing I remember you from previous boards, I hope you're feeling more positive about 2009.

smallone · 02/02/2009 08:57

girl sorry to hear of your bfn, have you had a cycle this long before?

bubble I've got everything crossed that its not another 68dayer! What is your plan of attack? Are you going to test again or wait of AF?

I'm CD23 today of 30, so am allowed a little symptom creation spotting. So far I have mildly aching boobs off and on, low-down cramping, inability to get out of bed (but thats not unusual!) and woke up this morning with a bladder the size of my head. However I will concede that I've felt all of the above since starting ttc. Times like these I wish I kept a diary of my symptoms!

bubblebell1 · 02/02/2009 08:00

hi and welcome late good luck for this cycle

cd30 for me no af and got a bfn too. i just hope its not another 68day cycle... really really sad

girl i feel for you hope AF or BFP comes soon x

how is everyone else?

hi all - i hope it's not too late to join this thread...i'm new at this and it's taken me a while to work out what's what

not sure what is the protocol with the list, but my details are

latestarter2009 ttc#1 ucl 28 cd17

this is my first 2ww and i'm finding it all a bit weird...i had an unexpected pg and mc late last year....i had lots of pg symptons, but didn't know what they were! of course now i am hyper-sensitive to them and have felt nothing yet.

congratulations to those who have already bfpd and big hugs to those who wont be getting lucky until next month

girlwithacurl · 01/02/2009 14:30

Hello, tested this morning and BFN, still no sign of AF though... why does this have to be so difficult

wishing sorry your having a hard time too.
small yes probably best to wait. At least if it is that you will have a definitive reason that you can fix!
