yay stealth and trixie! hope we will all be joining you on the oct 09 antinatal thread

hello newcomers!

dh and i have bd every day since thursday (day 7, 8 and 9). dh is off out with a mate tonight; have warned him not to get too drunk as i'll need him tomorrow

jeez i wish it was always like this

MensaReject · 10/01/2009 19:59

GettingStarted - be careful, we managed to get it stuck once, it sort of turned sideways lol. Dp had to 'assist' in its removal I feel a bit achey today but again this is probably more to do with the Clomid than anything else. I don't seem to have much cm, so might try the pre seed next month. We got the keys to our new house today and i've recently got a new job so people keep saying "new job, new house, new baby" even tho no-one knows we're ttc!

dancingqueeen · 10/01/2009 19:49

oh yes, also wanted to say congrats to stealth, v happy for you!

Ralphie0956 · 10/01/2009 19:48

Boob don't give up yet! I'm sprinkling loads of baby dust your way

fatandiknowit (Great title by the way) I almost certain it's not due to the pill as I've now been off that for nearly two years, but I spose it's just one of those things!

dancingqueeen · 10/01/2009 19:48

theboob, I'm with you there, due to dh being away i think i've missed out this month , but he's coming back a day early so still going to give it a go! it is so gutting though knowing the chance may well have been missed...

had bad day today, looking at baby stuff in the shop, told myself its to look for a present for my sister who's very pg, but not v convincingly!

bubblebell1 · 10/01/2009 19:17

boob keep goin. you could still get lucky.

iirc someone on the sept thread got a bfp last month and she had 1 bd sesh due to a flu virus.there is hope for all of us. i will keep my fingers crossed for ya

sorry if i sound stoopid but whats preseed?

OP posts:
theboob · 10/01/2009 19:05

well I dont think this will be my month

have missed out BD on 2 of my green light days now and cant help thinking that i have mised the point,it could not be helped but I feel a bit gutted,i will keep on with the BD tonight and tomorrow and then think i will be in the 2WW ,so send lots of positive thoughts and baby dust my way

congrats on the BFP's and fingers crossed for many more

StealthPo09IsHere · 10/01/2009 19:00

i have heard good things as well about pre seed but never seen it anywhere!

FifiOK · 10/01/2009 17:46

Thanks for the warning on the pre seed gettingstarted will try and use only a small amount. Let's hope we'll both be recommending it in a few weeks ! Good luck in IKEA, should take your mind off the 2WW.

gettingstarted · 10/01/2009 15:59

FifiOK yes I've used preseed this month, but I couldn't tell you if it helps as am on the 2WW. It was runnier than I imagined, and also I felt that there was more of a wet patch and worrried more (of the crucial stuff) had come out than stayed in, even after half an hour with my legs in the air (I have lost all dignity ).
Mensareject I also have the sore nipples thing - on day 20 of 26-28 day cycle - can't decide if it is a sign or result of too much BD . I agree with the uncomfortable leaving the syringe in, but dp is very keen its on a greater cause - so all quite tender down there. Think I'm going to put my foot down next month on that front! If I blush any more I will be a permenant beetroot. Anyway off to IKEA to buy a cheap kitchen!

WarmSeaBreeze · 10/01/2009 15:41

Hi Everyone Congrats on the BFP's!! How exciting!!

Joy I also had a MC in July at 7 weeks, lets hope this is our month

Joy27 · 10/01/2009 15:01

Congrats on the BFPS!

Bluebell thanks for adding me to list. I am on cycle 6 since MC.

fatandiknowit · 10/01/2009 13:18

Ralphie - since I came off the pill last month my AF experiences have been similar...

Don't know if that helps at all?

eeyore2 · 10/01/2009 12:37

That is such great news about the bfp's from Stealth and Trixie. Congrats to you both. Trixie, thanks, it does give me hope as I stare at the 'cd46' next to my name on the list. I will just keep at it in the hope that I'll ovulate at some point like you.
Welcome and good luck to gettingstarted, I'm sure it won't make any difference that you are doing it in a slightly different way.

Ralphie0956 · 10/01/2009 10:54

Congratulations Stealth and Trixie. let's hope we are all as lucky.

Feeling a little hungover this morning as celebrated my 30th last night.

I need to ask a question about AF cycles if you don't mind?

My AF started quite late Wed night and yet finished yesterday? that must be the shorted I've ever known. It was very heavy on Thursday and hardly anything yesterday! anyone else experienced similar?

WizzyWoo · 10/01/2009 10:30

Morning everyone, glad to hear you're def pg, Trixie. Love seeing the Graduate List, gives me hope!

Af is outstaying welcome now. Normally finished on CD5 but still lurking around today, grr! Knowing that we're ttc is fantastic aphrodisiac but it's so frustrating not being able to do anything yet - sorry, tmi . All being well, we'll be BDing from Mon. DH seems to think all his Xmas's have come at once (he says he'll feel a bit cheated if I get pg straight away )

DH and DD have gone to a local Dad's Group this morning at DD's nursery, which means I can have a quiet morning to myself, hooray! Chilling out on bed with laptop, hot chocolate and James Martin telling me how to cook on TV...

Speaking of food/drink, for those who are pg or those who have actively ttc in past, did you change your diets at all? Heard grapefruit juice can help?

FifiOK · 10/01/2009 09:42

Amazing news trix and stealth And welcome to new joiners, this is a lovely supportive thread and is really helping me stay sane this month. Here's to a happy weekend of BDing - lots of baby dust to everyone. Has anyone used pre seed before ? Any hints & tips ? Have bought 6 sachets and hoping to open one tomorrow night

MensaReject · 10/01/2009 09:28

Congratulations stealth and trix, and hello joy GettingStarted - we usually put it straight into the syringe and use it straight away. I worry about it dying in the syringe i don't leave the syringe in, i tried it once but it felt so uncomfortable but i do lie on pillows for half an hour each time. I'm glad that the success rates are about the same, good luck to you. I'm on cd21 and the only symptom i have is sore nipples! And feeling hot in the night, but could be caused by Clomid?

bubblebell1 · 10/01/2009 08:57

OH MY GOD...just done 2 different tests and got 2 pink lines on one, followed by the second test saying PREGNANT!!!!

I feel really weird about it - soooo excited, but so, I don't know...weirded out by it too. Is that normal?

Thank you all for your positive words and vibes - someting must have worked!

So pleased for everyone else too - that's fantastic news. Hope all goes well for everyone!

Just goes to show that you can not have AF for months and think you're not ovulating and still get pg!

Will stay with this thread to see how you all get on - thinking positively for you all xx

RipMacWinkle · 10/01/2009 07:55

Am going to de-lurk for a moment.

Stealth - many, many congratulations!!!

TrixieVix - keeping everything crossed that you get a lovely BFP this morning.

I'm quietly in for October but not holding out much hope. That said, since DS is an October baby (and so are DH and I) maybe it's just our luck.....

amanda12 · 10/01/2009 07:51

Congratulations Stealth and trixie !! Lets hope these are the first of many this month.

Well AF has finished and so i think i am going to follow Bubbles lead and go on a bd marathon for the nxt 10 days. Had a bit of a wobble last couple of days about whether i am crazy going for another one and if i will be able to cope with 4dc. But im over it and feeling very positive that this wil be my month.
Good luck to everyone

StealthPo09IsHere · 10/01/2009 07:20

hi gettingstarted and joy

Joy27 · 09/01/2009 23:21

Thanks for the welcome wizzywoo and idreamofbeanie (great name btw). Will try to catch up on who's around on this thread and where they're up to- might take me a while though, seems like this is a full thread!

It also seems like there have been a couple of BFPs today- congratulations ladies!

Anyone else near the start of their cycle? I'm having a v fed up CD1 after really thinking this might have been our month (period late and everything).
