thanks hobnob glad its a good sign. feel a bit sore but its all in a good cause!

Hobnobfanatic · 20/01/2009 10:00

Girlwithacurl, I bruised my cervix when I first started seeing DP - way too much sex! I think you're more prone to it when fertile in your cycle, too as the cervix softens, doesn't it? Might be a good sign!

Congratulations, idream! So thrilled for you! There's so much good news on this thread - I hope it's infectious!

girlwithacurl · 20/01/2009 09:52

Morning. Temp rose today, managed every night since Tuesday so hoping that will be enough. I think I have bruised my cervix though do you think that is possible!
I take the pregnacare conception ones... not sure if they do anything, have slightly different recipie to the prenancy ones and makes me feel I am doing something, so much of this feels like old fashioned luck that anything I can control I want to do.
Also saw that Little Chef thing last night... very odd!

littlemiss26 · 20/01/2009 09:31

hey this is the first time i've had a chance to get on, and what a busy few days its been

congratulations to all the BFPs!!!! i have to admit i feel really jealous and like mensa have given up on my body sorting itself out. I did a test and it was very definately BFN but i'm still not convinced i've ovulated so pretty pointless really

Its so exciting for you boob and beanie! enjoy it!!

idreamofbeanie · 19/01/2009 23:43

Hi Princess,

I think TTC/pregnancy vitamins contain more folate, calcium and iron which are needed for pregnancy and don't contain vitamin A which is bad for the developing baby.

Good luck for this month - hope all that BDing works!

1LittlePrincess · 19/01/2009 23:13

Hi all hope you are all well!

This is such a busy thread, I have been away busy Bd'ing so it amy take a while for me to catch up on all thats been happening

DP went away this evening and will be away for 5 days so am crossing my fingers, toes and legs that we have managed to Bd enough and at the right times. Only slight EWCM today and usually OV 16-18 (I think) so hopefully there will be enough lil swimmers to last!

HUGE HUGE HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to those who have had their BFP's YaY! Keep that lucky baby dust scattering around the thread

When I was in Super Drug today I saw some Vits that are aimed at TTC. They were made by pregnacare who do the pregnancy ones...Has anyone tried these, and do they differ that much to a general Vit complex containing B6 and Folic Acid?

Hugs to All x

gettingstarted · 19/01/2009 21:42

Congratulations Idream that is so exciting!

Thank you for all the hugs and also for the good ideas devilsadvocate I will make a list in advance for next month. DP and I did go out on Sunday and had Dark choc and Fried pineapple crepes - AMAZING and ideal period food!

Starting to feel that hormonal craziness is passing and hopefully cramps are on the way out. Watching that Little Chef thing at the moment - strangely fascinating! Good luck the rest of you - I have everything crossed for you x

FifiOK · 19/01/2009 21:34

Angel I've got another 9 nine days to go before testing.

distorted welcome to the thread, you never know they say you can be really fertile after having a coil out. I conceived quickly after having a coil out in June. It ended up as a MC but nothing to do with the coil (blighted ovum)

lovely maybe you're right about the folic acid. Probably feel a bit nauseous with the folic because I always end up washing it down with a coldish cup of tea on an empty stomach ! If you want to update the list, add what number you are trying to conceive TTC#, how many cycles you have been trying for, and then what cycle day you are on.

DistortedAngel · 19/01/2009 21:12

Hello all, would love to join your thread. TTC#3 - no idea about cycle as have just had coil removed today and haven't had a period for years. Unlikely for October I know but what the hell...

AngelFairy · 19/01/2009 21:09

Bubble... I reckon number 12 wouldve done it. Fingers crossed for you hun x

Fifi... I'm spotting atm so prob won't test, unless AF doesn't arrive. How about you?

I've been feeling very strange this month, but not sure if it's because I know I could possobly be pg.
I first noticed tingly breasts and nipples, then nausea and then right side cramping. I have since been having different to usual cramps with spotting since Fri, but AF due tomorrow.
Who knows...?!

HTH x

theboob · 19/01/2009 20:40

no not got a digi test yet
i wont be making a doc apt for a few weeks yet as the wait to hear from the midwife drags lol ,i thought i had symtoms last week but all weekend i have felt normal and i still do now,no nausea,no sore boobs, just feel srange in my tummy but i think thats because i know there is something there
i know there will be more BFP this month.....i can feel it in my bones lol

idreamofbeanie · 19/01/2009 20:39

Hi all, thanks for all the congratulations. It still doesn't feel real but it's slowly sinking in that I might actually be pregnant . I didn't have any symptoms really - a bit of a strange crampy tingly feeling, different to usual AF cramps, but nothing I would have noticed if I wasn't symptom spotting. In fact I just felt very healthy, full of energy and positive this month - I only tested because it was my birthday and DP is working away this week and I didn't think I would hold out until next Saturday. I'm still not convinced AF won't show up this week - it all feels so precarious this early - but if its going to happen it will happen IYKWIM so I might as well relax and enjoy knowing DP and I can make a baby!

Good luck to everyone testing this week - it seems we have landed on a lucky thread!

WaitingforaSproglettoFall · 19/01/2009 20:26

Hi people, had flu for the last week so haven't really been on here much. Congrats to those who've been lucky with the BFP's!!

Only managed to BD on CD11, 14 and 15 as felt like death, had a fair amount of EWCM on CD14 so feeling fairly positive.

Now on CD23 and am symptom spotting like mad, I'm not due until Sunday so trying to be patient!!

What symptoms are the rest of you on the 2ww experiencing?

Catz · 19/01/2009 19:54

So you lucky ones with the BFPs (if you're still checking) - what symptoms did you have and when did they start?

Not that we'd use them for symptom spotting...

lovelylullaby · 19/01/2009 19:38

Hmm I wouldn't have thought folic acid would make you feel nauseous.

FifiOK · 19/01/2009 19:35

Bubble Think you can have a night off tonight!

Angel hope the wicked witch stays away tomorrow, will you test ?

Idream fab newsyour dream has come true!

Calling all Symptom spotters does anyone else think that taking folic acid can make them feel nauseous ? I've had a fair amount of nausea since we started ttc which coincides with when I started on the folic acid. I've had quite strange aches in my right pelvic area today, not really painful, but very aware of it. It's almost like a pulling sensation so of course I'm imagining implantation pains as I'm now 8DPO.

bubblebell1 · 19/01/2009 19:22

angel i bded on 6,8,10,12and 15 i ovd on day 13 and im on day 16... do u think thats enough?

OP posts:
AngelFairy · 19/01/2009 19:20

Bubble... I hardly notice my ewcm if I'm honest. Especially if I don't check tissue. Did you BD 3 or 4 days ago?

DevilsAdvocaat · 19/01/2009 18:54

AngelFairy · 19/01/2009 18:13

I am not leaving this thread, it's far too successful!!
Congratulations to all the BFPs... Very exciting!

Newcomers... Welcome!
We know you felt the positive vibes and flowed on in - ha!

Bubble... Stop stressing, I reckon you've hit it this month! How could you not with all that bding?!

Idream... Top up that folic acid! Well done hun x

Boob... Did you find the CB Digi more effective than the FR?

all round please!

MensaReject · 19/01/2009 17:41

I'm on cd30 now, and no sign of af. Boobs seem less sore today but the thick slightly snotty cm is back. I don't think there is much point testing atm as i'm not sure what my cycle lenght will be on Clomid. I'd be devasted to see a bfn so will wait til day 35 i think. Or maybe i didn't ovulate at all this month so won't get af?!
