I felt odd pains in the area after when I thought I ovulated - didn't do any ov stick thingys... I also have mild cramping now which i have read is oxygenated blood being pumped into the uterus. I rather like that positive idea so am breathing deeply and sending more oxygen down there even though am convinced the witch is going to come back to bite me!!

RubyBuckleberry · 27/01/2009 20:02

hi everyone! i am going to stick around just to be sure and to watch that BFP list growing.

sorry to all with AF but enjoy the boozy nights and the coffee too!!!

Ralphie0956 · 27/01/2009 20:02

Congrates to all on BFP's (the list is thanfully ever growing)

Need to a ask a question that may seem silly but here goes.

I ov'd early to mid week last week and since Friday have been feeling very light cramps constantly in tummy area but also twinges in left hand side.

I'm frightening myself as I had a ectopic that same side last year! I'm going out of my mind with worry to the point that I've even tried to tell myself I imagining the whole thing!

Got a Preg test that is suppose to pick up HGC levels on 10ml and over, but not at the mo it's neg, not sure if it's way to early.

Anyway I must stop rambling and ask if anyone has ever felt syptoms like this so early?

theboob · 27/01/2009 18:37

congratulations on BFP's
sorry to all the witch caught,i keep lurking checking on you all ,hope your all well,x

ForcesSweetheart · 27/01/2009 17:56

Thanks for the welcomes folks.
DevilsAdvocaat and cazza and Ruby congratulations!!
Glad you got your AF at last eeyore good luck with trying this cycle.

Are any of you being treated by GP for a short LP? I'm seeing mine on Friday as mine went from a short enough 9/10 days previously to 8 days this cycle (in which I took b6 every day!). JUst wondering what I should be expecting to happen/what info I should go armed with?

WizzyWoo · 27/01/2009 16:13

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been around for a while but I'm so pleased to see the graduates list growing! Congratulations to all with BFP's and sorry to all those who the witch caught up with.

Off work today as hideous cold just isn't going. Babysat for DH's nearly 3yo niece and 10wko nephew. Really struggled with DD, as she was v jealous of baby getting attention. It was such hard work that I said I didn't want to have another baby after all and I'm really feeling superstitious that I might have just jinxed myself. On the way home, I decided that it would be different with DD if she has the time to come to terms with a new addition and do still want #2 but what if....

DH was soooo broody with his nephew. He's now really into TTC idea but I definitely Ov'd early last week, so it's a bit late to get excited about it for this month. Got the impression he wasn't that interested earlier but if AF catches me, at least I know that he'll be more interested next time.

Good luck to all who are testing in the next few days, I'll be keeping everything crossed for you.

Hi everyone! Congrats on the BFPs Ruby, Cazza and Devils. I have updated the list as I'm now back to CD2. At least the arrival of AF meant I could enjoy a really fun, rather boozy evening last night. Halfmum good luck with your sleepy day at work, hang in there!

I am now symptom spotting on my cat. Some friends said their cat changed towards them when they were pg, some wouldn't go near them and some got really protective, guess it depends on the temprament of the cat. So I keep cuddling her in the hope she will give me a sign. think i might be going a bit nuts! 5 days until AF is due...

Cazza28 · 27/01/2009 08:34

Morning all AF seems to be staying away, just today and tomorrow (to be certain) to get through then I will be extra excited!! Yeah!

Congratulations Ruby and Devilsa I to am cautious, you think you would be extra excited when you see the BFP but you kind of don't believe its happening - wonder if this ever changes.

Good luck to all those who are testing soon lets hope for a lot more BFP's!

bubble maybe they say that because of evab lines? not to sure really.

xx

DevilsAdvocaat · 27/01/2009 08:29

half mum, coffee and chocolate seems like a good idea to me.

my bfp also feels surreal. bit of an anti climax with dh but i think it will just take him some time to get used to it i guess.

feel sick and tired and have lower back pain, which i also had when pg with ds. however, can't help but keep my fingers (and legs) crossed.

good luck to everyone testing soon

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 27/01/2009 08:25

Right we've got it together and we are off to work/nursery...will be a bit late but should be ok. Have a good day.

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 27/01/2009 08:04

bubblebell1 thanks. Don't know about your clear blue question either sorry. Try website?

Am now trying to distract DS with lego while I attempt to get dressed. I think I will just try to keep a low profile at work and drink lots of tea etc to keep me awake.

bubblebell1 · 27/01/2009 07:50

half i hope your ds is feeling better... i dont have any advice coz im a sahm and if my boys have a bad night i can normally get to recoop a lil bit during the day.

congrats to all the BFPs. im so pleased they have started rolling in

do any of you know the rules re pg testing... clear blue tests say disregard after 10 mins and any changes after 10 mins should be ignored. why is this... i thought you couldnt get a positive reading if the hcg hormone wasnt present??? any advice gratefully recieved. thanks xxx

HalfMumHalfBiscuit · 27/01/2009 07:31

Hi. Not sure if anyone else is about???

Terrible night. DS1 has cold and kept crying in the night. Ended up giving him calpol and managed to sleep a bit from 2 til 5.30....great. DP is away this week.

Not sure if I am pg or not but my boobs were really aching in the night and I have backache, although that could be due to the extra carrying.

Anyway, here we are up early. DS not too bad bit grumpy..I have to go to work. They are not too bad at work but its going to be hard to give a full days work with only a few hours sleep. Any advice would be a godsend.

idreamofbeanie · 26/01/2009 21:23

Congratulations to all the BFPs - both shouted and whispered . Looking forward to seeing you all over on the Due in October thread.

Sorry to anyone AF caught . I really hope that next month is your month. I'm going to keep an eye on these threads and hope to see many more BFPs.

Well after the initial excitement of getting my BFP it has all been a bit unreal ever since. I don't have any ms yet, I don't have to see the doctor until 8 weeks and we aren't telling anyone in RL yet. Its very strange - I don't really feel as though I am pregnant. I've moved from the 2ww onto the 12(well 10 really)ww and I am as impatient as ever . Can't wait to have a scan and check the bean is actually there and is okay.

hackneybird · 26/01/2009 21:13

BTW in the interests of accurate lists I'm trying for number 1. xx

hackneybird · 26/01/2009 21:12

Congratulations DevilsAdvocaat and Cazza, and always nice to hear about perky norks catz

Thanks also to those who have offered kind words. The MC seems a while ago now, and though it was horrendous at the time I have bounced back ok. My colleague announced that she was PG shortly before Xmas, and I felt a bit wobbly about it, but I comforted myself in the knowledge that I could drink with abandon over Xmas whilst she couldn't

Ticking off the days until I can test - AF due this weekend. xx

Hobnobfanatic · 26/01/2009 21:00

Congratulations to everyone with BFPs (even whispered ones, Ruby!)
My AF is due Weds, so I'm waiting and hoping. Last month I was convinced I was pg, and AF came late - I'm sure it was an early miss. Really hoping for a sticker this month... Am resisting taking a test. Will wait until 1 Feb (yeah, right) if AF doesn't show.
JeanieG - you're on the same CD as me - any news?

RubyBuckleberry · 26/01/2009 20:38

i can't actually write a post that makes sense! I have noticed that my brain appears to have vacated the premises! I drove the wrong way home tonight and I cannot think straight at work!

Congrats Catz on the boobs, and Devils and all other BFPs from before too
[wink}

RubyBuckleberry · 26/01/2009 20:29

Good Luck to all those on new cycle and so sorry about AF arriving!

devils - oh! confused over here! I get it now but don't get why my message didn't post. There is another website - work though rather than baby making, that doesn't let you swear, so I thought that had happened - where you are not allowed to swear...

I got a BFP this morning. A little cautious after last month, and am basically waiting till my 12 week scan (is that right) when we can see the hopefully sticky little thing with a heartbeat etc etc...
