oh jools, that is a pain. Worth popping into boots and buying opk to wee on?

Joolsiam · 26/01/2009 11:47

Yellowflowers - I remember getting mild thrush in the 2WW - dead common because of hormonal changes apparently...

Just checking in quickly as have travelled up to Birmingham this AM for a workshop that starts in a minute. Staying over in a nice hotel and will treat myself to a swim and a sauna

Strange things happening with my cycle - tmi moment coming up

I've continued to have minimal brown spotting since my heavy AF left the building after only 48 hours. CD8 or 9 today and I think what I'm seeing is brown-tinged EWCM Am beginning to wonder if I will OV earlier than my normal CD16 - gaaaahhh - maybe I should get the train home tonight instead of staying over !!

Back later when I have more time. Have a good day everyone

yellowflowers · 26/01/2009 10:45

question for wannabe or anyone who can answer:

(TMI alert)

You said one of your early symptoms was uti like symptoms. I am 8dpo today if you believe FF and 10dpo if you believe me, and today for about 20 secs I had burnign sensation down there (not had sex for 2 days so not result of rubbing or anything) and then not pain but felt different to wee and now feel like I need a wee even when I've just gone. Not had cystitis for about 10 years and think it would be odd to have it now - does this sound like what you had? Obv clutching at straws again as justhad temp dip so af probs on way.

Yellowflowers for breakfast you get Gronola which you can have with yogurt or milk. You get one snack a day i.e. bar of chocolate, crisps etc... which they supply to you. They give you a soup for lunch, freshly made, you just need to heat it up... I am having today Spicy tomoto with beef. For dinner I am having a hotpot. You need to add yourself vegetables or salad and two pieces of fruit a day.

Check their website on www.dietchef.co.uk/

As I am unofficially pg I will ensure I get loads of veg and salad rather than worry about veggies that have high calorie content.

Its easy... and the food is delicious!! each day you consume 1,200 calories but I am upping that considerably so that my bean does not go without. But hopefully I can lose weight gradually if I stay pg...

iggypiggy · 26/01/2009 09:13

Villagemum I have just logged on and am so so sorry to read this .

Huge hugs - am thinking of you xx

yellowflowers · 26/01/2009 09:08

Cindy - what do you get to eat and how much is there?

C1NDY · 26/01/2009 08:40

Jools started the Diet Chef today, I am ensuring I eat enough veg and salad to ensure that I am being healthy and not to weight concious. Just wanted to say that the food was yummy, I can't believe the stuff I get to eat is low calorie...

C1NDY · 26/01/2009 08:38

Wasabi (big hugs to you) I am praying that the worst is over and you can start to heal. Thinking of you and your DH.

OMG your all freaking me out now.. Twins, no way (gulp)

Funtime I guess you have all worked out I have no patience, so yesterday used my Boots pg test and got a strong pg - I just wanted to see if I would still pick up a line (on the Boots one's you have to get a cross). So now I am beginning to get worried... Twins. Whatever is to be will be. I can't wait for Thursday to roll on so that I can update the list!!!

villagemum - so so sorry and thinking of you.

cindy - great - positive thoughts coming atcha

Funtime - sorry af got you.

My temp back down to normal 2ww temp and boobs not hurting at all so convinced not pregnant except have def a stronger sense of smell. af due any time Jan 30th to Feb 2nd

queenie1 · 25/01/2009 21:28

villagemum - so sorry to hear your awful news. Not shocked because I'm becoming only too familiar with how common this can be. But that doesn't mean it's any easier to deal with. Big hugs to you honey. Not much to say except that we're all here for you. Completely understand when you say you want some time out but do come back as and when you need to. We all understand. Lots of love. xxxx

BeckyMcG · 25/01/2009 19:35

VM - am so sorry to hear your news....ahhh, I just can't believe it. I've got tears in my eyes - nature is so, so cruel.

Cindy .....to echo others, I'm tentatively pleased and with the arrival of a stronger BFP on Wed or Thursday will be delighted.

funtimewincies · 25/01/2009 19:31

I did wonder for a monent about twins (not to scare you or anything ), as ds started life as one of a pair and I got a +ve on a normal Boots (not First Response or anything) 4 days before AF was due!

wasabi - completely agree with Jools, my pain settled within a couple of hours of having my 'TMI moment'.

Beer and chocolate helped enormously last night, thanks .

Joolsiam · 25/01/2009 12:12

C1ndy - so much HCG this early - twins ?? !!!! Apparently the likelihood of twins increases when one is hurtling towards 40

Just back from 2 hours at the gym and absolutely loved it Feeling fit again, and all the pre AF bloating had gone, so I didn't feel so self-conscious about my hooooge tum.

Have made room for a nice pub roast dinner now

Funtime - I hope booze and chocolate helped ?

Hoping you are indeed over the worst now Wasabi - if the pain reached a peak and then you had a TMI moment, it sounds like it Be prepared to be a bit achy for a few days

VM - have been thinking of you a lot ...

wasabipeanut · 25/01/2009 11:11

C1ndy - Yay!!!

I know we are supposed to be being cautious but a BFP is a BFP until otherwise proven. If you are producing so much HCG that you are getting a bfp this early then I guess that's a good sign?

Wishing you heartfelt sticky bean vibes xx

wasabipeanut · 25/01/2009 11:09

vm I've also replied on the other thread but just wanted to say how sad I was to see your news. I hope that you and your family can find comfort from eachother in the days and weeks ahead.

Funtime - hope you enjoyed some booze last night. I think we're all entitled to our maudlin moments. Glad you're feeling a little more heery this morning.

C1ndy - I am going to reply to you separately.

Well, I had a bit of a rough night - bleeding stepped up several gears and had to keep getting up to change pad and it was hurting so much I couldn't get back to sleep. Am currently dosed on Brufen & Paracetomol combo so feeling a bit better. I am so hoping the worst has now passed. I have reason to believe the worst has passed now - will spare you TMI.

C1NDY · 25/01/2009 10:36

Funtime thanks. I now feel silly to have tested early, now I am thinking what if the witch turns up - oh well such is like I suppose. But hoping and praying that this bean sticks!!
