WannabeMUm sorry to hear AF has arrived, at least you can now drink and be merry?

Smileycat Could the temperature thingy be wrong? Can't you carry on until OPK go positive. I heard for temperature charting you need have slept for 4hours at a minimum and then you must not get out of bed until you have taken your temperature - sorry if I am telling you something that you already know. Bodies are a strange thing.. If in doubt can't you bd one day and miss the next?

I had a positive OPK yesterday but did not test on Sunday - so was thinking that the positive could have been on sunday and monday was my last day before ovulation?? Anyhow I am going to keep on bding everyday until Thursday - just in case my FF says that I should be ovulating today, wed or Thursday!!

Question: Okay, the only convienant time for me and my DH to bd is in the evening at around 10 - 12 ... DH comes home sometimes late from work but wants to be fed and watered before he does the deed (yes, it is getting a little bit of a chore to him... and he hates the routine - but if this is what it takes. Don't get me wrong he does the necessary as he wants a bambeno as much as moi!) Is it okay for us to bd on fertile days and when the OPK go positive, once in the evening? or should we be bd more regularly??

Another question, I have stopped putting my legs in the air as I find it really uncomfortable... is it okay to lie flat? or should I be laying on my side?

Goush, I know I sound obsessive but really I am not... just want to give myself the best chance possible and perhaps one of you lovely ladies out there may have the answer or a trick to help!! over to you all...

I forgot to take my temperature this morning and am ill so wouldn't count anyway. But did have ewcm last night, though it was tinged with blood again. too ill to bd yesterday or today anyhow - will have to hope Sunday's lot made it through.

I'm feeling sooo pi**ed off this morning, my temp was high again & OPK -ive FF has now put me down as OVing on CD9 (Friday) stupidly early. We were both so keyed up for going all out this month & bding every day leading upto OV, but now that I've OV'd early we only did it once in the fertile window. I know, I know it only takes one but I can't help feeling down today, I drank quite a lot on Fri & Sat at my Xmas parties ready to start fresh with ttcing on Sunday for the marathon wk...ahhhhrrrr mother nature really gets to me sometimes.
If FF is correct I am now DPO4 & due to test on 26th Dec but I wont update my dates until tomorrow to make sure temp is still up & final OPK is -ive

Sorry Wanabe and hope you're OK Wasabi.

I'm about 7 or 8 days post ov at this end and trying not to symptom spot. I'm peeing for my country (no pain so not an infection I think), sore right boob and feeling pretty grim and 'hung over' this evening, very similar to how I was with ds.

It couldn't have implanted yet, could it, so it must all be in the mind ? Almost no symptoms with the last 2 mcs, so really trying not to let it do my head in .

Could I have a good slap for Chrismas please, Santa?

villagemum - sounding very promising!!

As I begin to approach ovulation time and the 2WW, the madness begins again. So in that spirit, I'm wondering if any of you can help me. Apart from EWCM, what are the signs of ovulation? For example, I ams suddenly very concious of my boobs which have gone very achy. Is this a sign of ovulation or impending ovulation?

(if there was a symbol for nutter I would be including it here...)

Not sure if AF is about to make an appearance or not now. Tingling cramping has definitely gone but that doesn't mean that it won't start up again... argh.

Smileycat you and i are right on the same dates and ov patterns.

Our DHs sound similar too, they say men dont like it to be planned but i dont see mine complaining when i tell him keep your energy up this is the marathon week

FF has confused me slightly as when added CD8,9 and 10 it has turned them green and ov not due til thursday

hence the bd marathon continues til after oved.

Well as for me I've just done my OPK for today & no smiley face yet....its still early for me as it should be +ive tomorrow or Weds at the lastest so not tooooo worried just yet, although I did re-look at FF for dates that we BD'd & we didn't manage CD10 (Sat) as we didn't get back in till 3am so we did yesterday x2 just incase it was OV pains on Sat told DH we need to keep going until we are sure its over...& he's more than up for it

Hi Ladies,
My AF arrived Saturday so unfortunately I wont get to join in the mass xmas eve testathon. Good luck for those still in the race!
I have updated the list with my predicted new AF due dates and this month me and DH have decided to take the DP seriously and give it a go.
I'm very confused that my cycle can seem to be stable on 33days then all of a sudden i get a 28day cycle like this month, which means we totally missed ovulation.

Any news on the outcome Wasabi?
Hope everyone elses is ok, very strange and heart wrenching for you Jools but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi everyone, I was out on Thurs and Friday on hols and forgot to take my laptop. So will do my best to catch up on posts!

I am on CD 12, so am bd every other day from day 10.

Hi iggypiggy give the tests a chance there are lots of people who use the ones of internet and get good results. so dont worry.

Started mine yesterday cd11 as its usually cd14 for me so no point in wasting them. .

have started the bd marathon have managed cd3,8,9,10,11.

am hoping to get to saturday before dh gets too exhausted

had some ovary pain yesterday and today so who knows whats going on.

It does sound like we are all going for it this month, there must be something in the air.

My OPKs arrived on Sat - so am going to start today (CD 10) at lunchtime I guess...

Am a little worried that cos I bought them on Amazon - they are not going to work tho

pinkie and smiley we will def do a NYE test then. Although technically AF wouldn't be due for me till 2nd jan.. so maybe bit early

I have to start BDing in earnest from today too

Jools - isn't all this a nightmare. I can't bear the am I / aren't I dilemmas I go through every month...goes without saying that I have my fingers crossed for you though.

Ellie - sorry to hear you've been feeling so low, but great to hear you're feeling a bit better / more relaxed this month.

Yellowflowers - excellent work on the BDing this month...

Me and DH have been doing okay but not brilliant: so far we've managed CD 9, 12, 15, 16 (today). I haven't been using OPKs as they and my pre-seed haven't arrived yet from amazon (how annoying is that!) but sure I haven't ovulated yet. No EWCM so far but judging from recent cycles, expect to see it later today or tomorrow and then for it to last a few days after that. So plan to grab DH as much as possible over the next few days.

By the way, any news Wasabi? I think it's looking very promising.

Smiley - if you ov'ed on Sat 13th, it sounds to me like you may have timed it all perfectly

YellowFlowers - have never experienced it myself but have read that you can have a very small bleed with ovulation.

As for me - I'm just plain confused at the mo !

Really strong OV pains on Sat morning and bloating. Sun morning - lots of pinky red mixed in with EWCM when wiping in the morning, then a teeny amount of brown in the evening. Nothing overnight, then more red watery stuff half an hour after I got up. Checked after the walk to work - still coming. Checked just now - gone.

My sensible head is telling me that this must be a slow starting AF - OV pains have not been followed by achey boobs, so OV probably failed and I'm looking at an anovulatory post MC cycle. I was in a fantastic mood all weekend - no pre af irritability at all.

My hopeful head is telling me that maybe the BD on Wed night caught the egg on its way down and this is a biggish implantation bleed. I was actually tearful this morning watching news items on sportsperson of the year etc. I don't get that sort of tearful when AF is coming - it is more like PG hormonal tears. I've got mild thrush, was really really gassy yesterday - quite when shopping !, had diarrhea, aching lower back and keep thinking I have increased saliva. Had a metallic taste in my mouth on Sunday aswell - BEFORE I'd seen the blood, so thought I was on 1DPO and hadn't started symptom spotting !

Aaaaarrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh. If you've got to the end of this - well done, have a gold star !! I know all I can do is wait, and I'll probably be posting here tomorrow confirming that this is indeed my first AF post mc .....

My temps still not showing ovulation though last night a bit of blood in cm - ovulation? Not happened before though. Not really trusting temps right now as could be because of cold or sleeping with mouth open etc

Looks like there some serious Bding going on this week. Very impressed Yellow we have managed CD8,10,11 x 2 & I'm now on CD12. DH has finished work for his Xmas leave so he wants to get in bding twice a day for the next couple of days if we can manage it, but I'm really worried that I may have OV early, my temp was quite high this morning & I missed taking it yesterday morn as we had a lay in & took it late the morning before, so at the moment on my chart it looks like it been raised for 3 days & I had pains on Sat eve??? My opk said -ive yesterday & I'm doing the next one later on today. I hope I'm worring about nothing & I will get a +ive today or tomorrow, but I just have a horrible feeling that I may have OV'd really early this month & have missed the boat I will keep you posted

mustadmit the bding has left me knackered - maybe to be blamed for cold? have asked dp that we do tues too but so many xmas parties this week can't even see we'll be home and awake at same time let alone up for anything else.

Oh ladies, 10 DPO today and I've been so sure all day that I'm not pg. Have had funny tingly cramping of the sort that usually preceeds AF, except that AF is not due for at least four or five days - then started to worry that she's coming early, argh! And now the tingling seems to be less so I wonder if it wasn't all in my mind. Please tell me how on earth to stop obsessing and Get a Life...

Oh god jools- that sounds really good!! If you don't get a BFP then I will eat my...erm....DH!!

yellowflowers- your BDing looks like mine- I'm knackered!! I've done day 11/12/14/15/16 and am planning on carrying on til Tuesday. We decided to give it a really good effort cos DH is in chicago for magic week next month so will have to skip a month. We find that BD everyday worked for us last time- Zita west seems to think that men with high sperm counts should have sex everyday as it helps reduce deformed sperm- they literally get too cramped up and start to deform When we had DH's SA done last year his count was on the high side (117 million per ml) so fingers crossed that her theory works!!

Have been thinking about testing at Christmas today and its really bothering me. Its a date that I am truly dreading and if I get a BFN it will just be another blow. boo!

Hi All,

Sorry deserted you all for a while just read posts trying to catch up with all the news.

To be honest felt that I needed to step back from TTC for a short while as I had got really low and much much more upset than usual when I got my last Af. Had a good talk with DH and we are off the Deanna Plan this month, just taking a more relaxed approach, thought it was best as next AF is due Christmas Eve I didn't want to feel that low again and ruin everyones Christmas. Feel much more relaxed now and looking forward to Christmas with DS. Will keep lurking though and checking in on all you lovely ladies Baby dust to all .................

Smiley - am really really unsure when to test - I'd noted on Fertility Friend each time I had what could have been OV pains and the one before yesterday was Thurs I think, so I could assume the 2WW started on Thurs ? Not sure really - first cycle post MC so anything goes I think !

Will just keep an eye out for other symptoms and try very hard not to obsess !!
