well im definately out. and actually need to try to not get pregnant next month! Have my brothers wedding abroad and really want to be there.

Have been looking back and all the bfps have benn on the deanna plan! tell me more.....

JingleJools · 27/12/2008 12:07

Still haven't tested

I keep convincing myself I can't possibly be PG because I don't feel PG and put it off My boobs are not sore, I'm not really weeing noticeably more often than normal, don't think I'm bloated and I've had no abdominal twinges. On the other hand, I've completely gone off wine (which I didn't with my last BFP) and have started crying at daft things and do feel nauseous when tired or exercising - that could be down to a rotten stinking cold though.

I'm both scared of seeing a BFN, and scared of the emotional rollercoaster and terror of a repeat MC that a BFP will bring

I know I'll have to face up to it soon, but in the meantime I'm eating healthily, taking folic acid and exercising - I've even avoided Lemsip just in case !

tinselandglittercoveredwincies · 27/12/2008 12:06

Lovely to see you back again, by the way, lovelymonster (rummages around for any leftover Green and Blacks which might have survived Christmas Day ).

tinselandglittercoveredwincies · 27/12/2008 12:04

Congratulations Smiley (frantic cheering and clapping )!

Good luck Jools and also to Becky for your scan.

AF is coming to an end, and I'm determined to conceive again this month, so can someone talk Deanna plan to me please?

Oh, and I've finally got an appointment in January for some tests to try and find out why the mcs keep happening. All good and positive stuff.

BeckyMcG · 27/12/2008 00:23

Yeah, yeah, yeah Pezzina and Smileycat what a fabbo Xmas pressi :-)
Did everyone have a good day stuffing themselves rotten? I did - for about the last week now although am missing wine desperately (which makes me sound addicted which I hasten to add I believe I am not...... just want what I can't have!!!) Plus I have now noticed how much more bearable it makes my in-laws
Good luck Jools - fingers crossed for you for tomorrow although if it's not positive then remember it's probably still your body getting back to normal - it's had a shock and you're being very brave about it!
I'm off for 11 week scan tomorrow and then am heading to my sisters in Manchester for new year so am hoping that everything will be ok and I can share the good news. I'll keep you posted....... I'd be so upset if something was wrong after being so hopeful over Xmas but am being positive.

yellowflowers · 26/12/2008 23:09

wow smiley - brilliant news.

whatsfortea · 26/12/2008 20:11

Wow, congrats to Pezzina and smileycat, that's fantastic news.

This is indeed a lucky thread, it's giving me fresh hope for January (I need it - 39th birthday is fast approaching so time is against me).

Jools good luck if you test again tomorrow

JingleJools · 26/12/2008 18:59

Time for a list update I think - so many BFP's on this thread, it is surely the luckiest TTC thread ever !

Fantastic news Smiley - what a fabulous, amazing Christmas Present

I haven't tested again - went away doing the grand tour of relatives and forgot to take the tests with me - probably a good thing ! May test in the morning but I'm not hopeful. I have a stinking rotten cold and that is probably causing the nausea and dizziness. I keep wondering if my boobs are bigger - I just seem to be more aware of them iyswim. Will be surprised if it is positive but you never know

smileycat · 26/12/2008 18:41

Merry Christmas everyone
Fantastic news Wasabi & Pezzina on your BFP's, good luck Jools its does sound promising

Well I tested on Christmas morning and after convincing myself all month that I wasn't in with a chance as I OV'd so early I got a BFP

We still can't believe it, but it was a fantastic Christmas present to get on Xmas morning

LovelyMonster · 25/12/2008 17:25

Merry christmas everybody!

Sorry have not posted for a while but have been watching from a far!

Huge congratulations to all the bfps!!! Wow there has been so many! Fabulous!!!! Big hugs to all who got caught by the wicked witch. No af for me yet but bfn this morning so just waiting for those awful cramps to begin!!!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day whatever you may be doing!

Pezzina · 25/12/2008 09:37

Its difficult to be sensible at a time like this Good luck Jools

xxx

JingleJools · 24/12/2008 19:37

Comma I know you are right Whether I can wait that long though is another matter ! !!

Even if I do get a positive result tomorrow, I'll be worrying about residual HCG so won't start believing it till lines on a Sainsburys test (that I used to monitor post MC levels down to a very very very faint line) get darker anyway.

I'm still feeling intermittently nauseous and so tired I could lie down on the floor and go to sleep, but then this could be a bug

Any sane person would just put the tests away till after Xmas and drink sensibly just to be on the safe side !!

Comma2 · 24/12/2008 19:10

Jools, test again in 2 days, not tomorrow. It should definitely have increased by then.

Don't think that it would be residual still. Call your doc I would say, either you are pregnant and should be checked for levels or you are not and then he should do a scan to make sure everything that should be gone is gone if you still have a line.

Hu, I am all excited!

tinselandglittercoveredwincies · 24/12/2008 19:02

What fabulous new Pezzina! Jools, sorry to hear that. But I just know that you and I are on for for a sticky January BFP .

Right, sun is well and truly down, time to get the Chrimbo booze open. Good luck to anyone testing soon.

Merry Christmas one and all !

JingleJools · 24/12/2008 15:57

Got impatient and did a second Sainsburys test at lunchtime but no hint of a line this time

Will try again tomorrow .... In the meantime, I am finding myself getting ridiculously tearful over crappy Xmas movies !

BoosieBoo · 24/12/2008 11:59

Yay pezzina - that's fab! When I first tested I was the same. Faint line at 10DPO, then getting stronger every other day.

Have a bit of a dilemma - I already look totally pregnant. I'm sure most of it's bloating, but I didn't look like this till 4 months gone last time. De-camping to the in laws today, but may have to tell them sooner than next week, as I don't think all the festive feasting is going to help the situation! My parents are also arriving tonight and haven't seen me for three months, I'm sure mum will notice. Oh well, if they guess, they guess, at least I won't have to pour my wine down the loo!

Pezzina · 24/12/2008 11:45

Thanks Yellowflowers

yellowflowers · 24/12/2008 10:57

wow woohooo wow wow wow - so pleased pezzinaxxx

Pezzina · 24/12/2008 10:46

Morning everyone.

Well, I did the test again and got a definite line - still faint but stronger then yesterday. I had thought I must be pregnant because my temperature had shot up this morning.

I'm so happy and so is my DH. So Jools - test again tomorrow - a faint line is still a line.

I'll be using my boots digital tomorrow just to confirm and see it in writing I hope this is a good omen for all the other testers. Lots of love to you all! xxx

BoosieBoo · 24/12/2008 10:27

Hi everyone,

Just checking in to wish you all a very merry xmas as going away until after the weekend today. Will probably check in after the scan next week and let you know how I get on.

Wasabi - what fab news for xmas!

Pezzina and Jools keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Good luck to everyone else testing and to the others, enjoy the festive BD'ing.

Heaps of baby dust to you all, Boosie xx

JingleJools · 24/12/2008 09:49

Thanks Comma Good to know there is hope but sorry to hear you are in the same situation

Well, I did test today but think I am in the same boat as Pezzina - a very very very faint line indeed came up within the time limit on a Sainsburys test - I'm not getting my hopes up just yet in case there is still residual post MC hormone left. I did the same type of test 3 weeks on Dec 2nd, three weeks after the MC and got a similarly faint line that I concluded was the end of the PG hormones so hopefully this is new, but I need to see the line getting stronger before I decide if this is a BFP.

Does anyone know how sensitive a Sainsburys test is ? I'm going to go and get a Clearblue Digi today, as when I got a BFP last time, I had a line so faint on a Boots test that I was really unsure but the Clearblue digi gave me a good result.

Will test again in the morning

Good luck to everyone else

C1NDY · 24/12/2008 08:56

Pezzina I will be looking out for your result
