Sorry to hear that AF arrived funtime but the thought of your ds shouting "peeeaaaaaas" is really cute and made me chuckle. We grew them a couple of years ago and I don't remember any actually making it indoors to a pan. Yum yum.

wannbe I have my fingers crossed for you.

Jools - hope you get some decent sleep tonight!

yellowflowers · 18/01/2009 16:19

Hi queenie - I am working today .

Well think I ovulated yesterday or today though temp a bit allover the place as still bot completely well - today could barely keep thermometer in mouth as hurt to swallow, so not sure how accurate it was,and showed a slight dip whereas a rise would have confirmed ovulation, but I had ewcm on Fri and Sat. Going to carry on BD for a bit longer though just in case. Haven't stuck brilliantly to DP either - had sex on days 3/6/11/12/13/16/18(today). I was a bit annoyed we didn't manage days 13 or 14 though.

On the other hand I am exhausted, have sore breasts and keep being sick but the sickness I think is because I am not well, and the exhaustion too probably, though an outside chance I ovulated early as did have a sustained temp rise early in cycle though then it went back down again a few days later.

See, way too much information and basically I have no idea what is going on this month.

What about you?

Funtime - sorry to hear AF got you

Jools - until AF comes you can never be sure. remember AF symptoms are so similar to PG. It really could go either way.

And wannabe - sounding good. here's hoping.

Today is CD18 for me. I'm now pretty sure I surged on CD 13 and that I Ovd a few days after that (I did a bit of internet research and it said you could OV up to 3 days after the surge and I definitely had EWCM CD 16 and 17)...I'm still BDing in case but now assuming I'm on the 2ww.

Yellow and iggy - how are you getting on? I believe we're all due about same time...

wasabi - if you're out there, big hug. xxx

yellowflowers · 18/01/2009 15:20

ooh wannabe - v exciting!

WanabeMum · 18/01/2009 14:14

Hi ladies,

Jools it's good to moan, once it's out it's like a weight lifted from me when i moan so carry on!

I'm loving how green fingered everyone is! I'm rubbish with plants etc, i attempted to plant some last year and they either drowned coz i forgot to pierce the bottom of the tubs or i forgot to water them. Decided not to bother this year!

Well, i had a BFN yesterday morning too but not resigning to AF yet as only 11DPO today so could have been too early. Not feeling at all "periody" i.e. moody, low, dull aches down there. My boobs were sore friday into saturday but that has now subsided, i have had a few twinges and a nasty pain in lower abdomen this morning, only for a split second but wasn't nice. Still having white creamy discharge (lovely!) so it's a bit of a waiting game for me now. Bought a duo pack of the clearblue digital preg tests with conception indicator off ebay yesterday for £9!! bargain i thought.
Time will tell, and despite being a bit blue yesterday, i'm much more upbeat about it today. So my 2WW is up on Wednesday, watch this space!

Joolsiam · 18/01/2009 12:42

Sorry ladies - didn't mean to be quite so moany That is what one small glass of wine does to me these days !!

Commiserations Funtime

Well, no AF here yet - a little bit more brown stuff first thing but nothing since.

I am weepy (rather than PMT irritable), was nauseous this morning and am very very tired - skipped the gym and stayed in bed which is most unlike me. I've had 4 nights now of very vivid nasty dreams and severe insomnia coupled with hot flushes.

However, my boobs are still as flat as pancakes and my thick hair is still falling out when I brush it (not losing any hair when brushing was the symptom that persuaded me to test last time)

I'm resigned to a BFN tomorrow or Tuesday - this I am just exhausted from not sleeping ...

funtimewincies · 18/01/2009 11:30

Well, a bfn here as expected. I'm OK about it as I knew that I wasn't pg (been there just tooooooooooooo many times ) but dh is very disappointed and said "right, which days do I need to be here next month?", as he travels quite a bit with work .

Wasabi - popping peas make up some of my favourite times with ds last summer . He was just starting to talk and 'peeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaas' was often heard shouted in the garden. He thought that they were some kind of treat and I don't remember actually cooking any . Needless to say, I'm growing twice as many this year !

Hugs to Jools.

yellowflowers · 18/01/2009 10:41

Hi wasabi - wasn't online yesterday but checked today and so sorry for your news. Thinking of you. Enjoy gardening - it's a lovely clear day where I am.

wasabipeanut · 18/01/2009 10:12

Oh jools I can totally understand your anger. It seems to bloody unfair doesn't it? When you are ttc or have had a mc the world seems to be filled with people who got pg at the drop of a hat and, in some cases, don't want to be. People like Karen Mathews get pg produce all these children and neglect them. It's bitterly unfair.

I hope you feel better as today goes on. I am feeling calmer today. The anger I had yesterday seems to be fading thank god. I'm still sad but don't feel quite as desolate as I felt yesterday. Dh and I hav decided to spend this evening ordering seeds and we got some nice lillies to plant this afternoon. Funtime is right, gardening is good for the soul. Knowing we have something to look forward to in the Spring and Summer feels nourishing somehow. I love the thought of ds tearing round the garden helping himself to cherry tomatoes and popping pea pods together.

Thanks for all your nice messages. It means so much to me. it's odd how at a time like this you can't face telling your real life friends but your virtual friends are so important.

Joolsiam · 17/01/2009 21:11

Am becoming more and more convinced that AF will be here before morning

Thought I was OK with that - good news that cycle is proven back to normal, another month of losing weight etc - but I'm not got very very ANGRY earlier this evening, especially when confronted with someone in the pub who got pg by accident and is debating whether to keep "it" For some reason, I woke up this morning reliving in my head the conversation I had with the antenatal receptionist while I was miscarrying - woke up in tears

queenie1 · 17/01/2009 17:18

wasabi - i too am so so sorry to hear news. and I completely want to echo jools and say we're all hear during good and bad times so make sure you stick around honey. Lots of love to you. xxxx

smileycat · 17/01/2009 17:00

Wasabi so sorry to hear your news, our thoughts are with you big hug hun (((hug)))

WanabeMum · 17/01/2009 16:19

Hi everyone,

I'm so sorry to hear your news wasabi, can't imagine what you're going through. Wish there was something i could say to make it easier for you but there's not. I hope you get your closure when the time comes. Thoughts are with you honey and Jools is right, the thread is a support group throughout all the twists and turns that is TTC.
Take care xxxxxxxxx

Broodzilla · 17/01/2009 15:38

wasabi, just wanted to say really sorry to hear your news. Wish I could think of something more comforting to say, but I can't... just know that there are so many of us out here in cyberworld thinking of you.

Joolsiam · 17/01/2009 13:19

Don't worry about the thread - it is there for support, through good times AND bad xx

wasabipeanut · 17/01/2009 13:16

Thanks everyone, its really nice of you. I don't want to bring the thread down for want of a better expression.

Funtime - what you say makes sense. I'll see how I feel Mon/Tue and then decide. I guess because I've had this week to think about things I just want it finished. I feel the need to move on and try again and get back to normal I suppose.

One minute I'm crying, the next minute I'm just so angry. I want to smash everything up or scream out loud as it all just seems so bloody unfair.

funtimewincies · 17/01/2009 13:06

Also just popped in check up on the news and I'm so sorry to hear that it's not to be wasabi . I found that a bit of a wait between the news and the D&C/ERPC was really helpful, as it stopped me feeling like I was losing control of the situation. By the time I went into hospital, I was ready and needed to say goodbye and move on.

Lots of hugs to you and your dp.

Joolsiam · 17/01/2009 13:05

So sorry to hear this - after all the waiting and hoping, it is just heartbreaking

Please don't go away Wasabi - keep talking, veg on the sofa with alcohol, chocolate and a box of tissues x x x

Pezzina · 17/01/2009 13:02

... to say! xxxx

Pezzina · 17/01/2009 13:01

I'm so sorry Wasabi that is such sad news. My thoughts are with you and your DH, sweetie. I really don't know what else to day... xxxx

wasabipeanut · 17/01/2009 12:57

There is news from me and sadly it isn't good. Apparently I've gone from being 46 to 47 days pg according to hcg level - not good considering the 3 day gap between tests.

It's over. I think I sort of knew that all along if I'm being honest. dh and I have cried on and off all morning but everytime I think I've got it all out it comes back again.

Have to have scan next week to confirm then I think I will have a D&C. My body is obviously determined to hang on to this pregnancy even though its long gone.

Joolsiam · 17/01/2009 11:42

Morning all !

Just dropped in to see if there was any news from Wasabi ....

Been to the gym and the sun is out. Playing a waiting game today and doing some seriously obsessed knicker checking - found some watery brown stuff on the tissue when wiping a couple of times this morning - sometimes AF starts like this, but I don't feel premenstrual. Hoping it is something else

WanabeMum · 16/01/2009 19:38

Ooh just looked on that site Cindy added and it says i could be pregnant but may be too soon to tell. Well i could have told you that myself! was interesting though.

My DH is trying to get me to test tomorrow. Not sure though, despite being desperate to have a BFP i am ssssoooo nervous it may actually be a BFN! Stupid i know because there is nothing i can do about it either way so may just get it over with. At least if it's a BFN i can hope that it's too early and a BFP may be on the way huh?

Sorry ladies, getting slightly neurotic now. 2WW comes to a close and stress goes through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!!

smileycat · 16/01/2009 18:14

There was a website where a girl pee'd on a OPK stick & a pg stick every day of her cycle to compare the results & the day that she got her +ive result on the pg stick she also got a faint line on the OPK as well. She said that they do pick up the same hormones but the pg test will pick it up sooner.

I also recommend temping I would never have known that I ov'd early if I hadn't have put my results in FF & was told that it had risen for 3 days. I would have gone through two packs of sticks waiting for the rise

yellowflowers · 16/01/2009 17:00

hahahaha - I just did the online thing cindy linked to and forgot to change the year - it told me I am 106 weeks pregnant!
