Hi All, have been on a couple of ttc hreads but due to sad arrival of af yesterday and x2 negative pg testa thought I'd start a September one.

We are ttc#2 we already have dd(2) and had a mc in September this will be cycle 3 since mc.

Mc hit me hard, more so than other adverse life events for some reason also head full of other stuff such as trying to complete a Post grad Diploma in Cognitive Therapy!!

Anyway want to try to be optimistic and hopeful and not (too!) obsessive this month!

Anyone else fancy joining?? xx

Sorry Warm...I think i will be joining you, thought i was taking it today, but so far nothing, will no doubt arrive in my sleep....bloody thing!

BelgradeGirl · 04/01/2009 18:28

Hi everyone
Also hoping for a September arrival! We've been ttc#1 for seven months now, no luck at all. Husband has had tests and all good. I'm in that 'hoping' bit of the month now but figure that AF will arrive this week - getting used to being disappointed! Am also having acupuncture as I heard this can help? Anyone else tried this?

So how do I know when to move to the october thread? I can't work out my dates, I'm still forcusing on all the BDing (got the hang of it a lot more this month)... the syringe that is...you said no such thing as TMI!

JumpingJellyfish · 04/01/2009 17:08

Just quickly popping on, as I can't resist
Welcome Kat (and any other newcomers!)- this is a very friendly thread with no such thing as TMI! I'm sure you are very busy- take my hat off to you juggling a degree in biomed with 4DCs- go girl! Sorry about the MC though, hope this month is lucky for you x

Bubblebell hurrah your AF is finally here! Not usually do we greet an AF with such enthusiasm, but it must be such a relief to finally know where you are & to start TTC knowing dates etc- good luck for this cycle! Sorry to hear about the pains on NYE though, hope that doesn't happen again. Might well be joining your Oct thread in 9 days...not that I'm counting or anything

Good luck all with the BDing & horrid 2ww...
mosschops did you buy another test? Are you resisting using it? Fingers crossed for you!
minx hope you get some answer one way or another v soon (hoping for a BFP obviously!) xx
irish FWIW I never had early pregnancy symptoms until at least 6 weeks pregnant- the cramps I felt were the same as AF ones, and at the same time, but my boobs did start growing quickly around the time AF was due. I've only even suspected being pregnant due to AF not appearing when it should have... Hoping the next week doesn't drag too much!

KatB · 04/01/2009 17:05

No just mental I mean, who wants 4 kids??? My youngest daughter just started school and stupid me decides this is a good time to have another one.
My last preg was a shock but when it ended in mc we found we were disappointed so here i am!
I started having babies at 16, I'll probably still be having them at 46! I like my big age gaps - almost had a breakdown having 2 years between my eldest 2. So much easier when I had my last one and the others were at school.
xx

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 16:58

hi kat!! good luck with ttc and exams coming up!! your are brave

KatB · 04/01/2009 16:56

Hey guys can I join you? I'm ttc straight after an early (5 wks) mc so God knows where my cycles will be but generally I'm a 28 days girl I have 3 DCs all conceived accidentally - I'm generally considered to be the most fertile person my friends know - no pressure then????

Anyway my kids are 12,10 and 5, I'm 29 and DH is 28. Had a loss 3 years ago (accidental pg) and then another loss 2 weeks ago (accidental pg). So despite ttc my 6th pregnancy this is actually the first time I have ttc

Jumped on Dh on CD 8, 10, 11 and 13. Currently on CD 15 an d plan on another BD tonight

Also I'm in my final year of a degree in biomed. Got my finals in May so happy to have a Sept baby. Canm't believe how impatient I am though! It's almost like as soon as you decide to ttc you turn into a mad woman obsessing about oving and cycles!!

Good luck to all here, I read the whole thread and you guys made me laugh!

xxxx

sorry warm

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 14:37

oh warm! im sorry for you. wishing you luck for next month

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 14:36

stay positive! when i was pregnant with ds 1 i had aches and pains down below that went round my lower back. i went to dr after a few days and they did the test that showed i was pregnant! so it aint over til the fat lady sings!

WarmSeaBreeze · 04/01/2009 14:34

Hi Ladies

I am out! Good luck to all those on the 2ww xx

mosschops30 · 04/01/2009 14:21

I tried that FF but it was all too much, and temp is such an unreliable indicator of anything other than infection so not sure how much of it I beleive.
We tried lots on Xmas week so would have been the right time (22nd/23rd/25th/27th) fingers crossed.
I have terrible lower back pain though that I get before AF

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 14:17

well.... i normally have a 30 day cycle... so if i were you......i would of bd'd on cycle days 12 - 18 just to make sure. thats the 19th - 25th dec.. but it can only take 1 attempt at bding!!

i use fertility friend. i chart my temp, watch for ewcm and cervix position.

go get some tests.. we need more bfps

mosschops30 · 04/01/2009 14:11

bubblebell i DO NOT need any encouragement
I still cant work out exactly when Im due or if I tried at the right time, all the websites seem to having conflicting ideas

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 14:06

well.... you could get some then if you decide not to you have some for d day but i dont want to be a bad infulence

mosschops30 · 04/01/2009 14:01

yes but a part of me thinks Im imagining it and most of its stuff that could be AF anyway (sore boobs and bloating).
I promised I'd wait until at least thursday, but as Im day 28 today I guess Im almost there

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 13:57

i think first response is better... but thats just in my experience. im excited for you. do u feel pregnant??

mosschops30 · 04/01/2009 13:47

could I test today? i know I shouldnt but Im dying to do it again.
Which is considered the best Clearblue or First Response

bubblebell1 · 04/01/2009 13:42

oh minx i know how u must be feeling. it is so awful when af snubs you.. could you of ov'd later? i know its awful but she will show up soon. i just hope its sooner rather than later OR your BFP is just round the corner... did you test using a first response?? its just that with ds2 thats the only test that showed him up. iykwim??

hope we are on track for some more bfps soon

minxofmancunia · 04/01/2009 13:18

bubblebell, so pleased she's arrived at last!

Hopefully this willbe your month

Me, still waiting for af, now 9 days over expected af start date but not pg

Will text again next week if no af (thursday) if, stillno af inanother 7 days trip to gp for me

littlewifey · 04/01/2009 13:18

Thanks irishmumwannabe I was going to add myself, but (Whispers)...wasn't sure how to do it!!! I am trying to conceive my first baby, following a mmc and although we weren't being very careful last month IYKWIM, this is my first 'official' cycle of TTC!
Acording to the OV sticks I think I actually ov'd yesterday... Hurray!! Although wasn't as dark as the test line, but def darker than anything I've had so far. Anyone else experienced this? I am bit worried this means my LP isn't long enough anyway though to implant. My average cycle length is 35 days so this would give me 10 day LP this month.. I think?? Although sometimes my cycles are 33 and sometimes 38!! I've just been reading about Agnus Castus which can help lengthen LP. Has anyone else tried this? Why is it all sooooo complicated!!!
irishmumwannabe I will keep my fingers crossed for your 2WW. If I did ove, the we are on it together... although mine is maybe a 10day wait??!!

irishmumwannabe · 04/01/2009 12:44

Wow Bubblebell that's brilliant that AF has finally arrived. At least you now know that you can start ttc again with the hope that you get normal cycles again (fingers crossed)

Welcome to mosschops and littlewifey Littlewifey have added you to the list but not sure of thettc# or cycle # you are on so feel free to complete the info
mosschops have amended your cycle info.

2WW here for me - after today it'll be the 1ww and that's teh worst for me I will be dying to test but don't think I am pg this month and have no symptons yet (thank God otherwise I'd be driven mad) so I'm just goingto relax and wi until AF is due / doesn't come. (well we'll see)

Morning all, any BFP's today? I am tempted to go and buy another test (maybe a pack of two then if I get another BFN I'd have one left ) but I know I shouldnt.
I have really low down cramping today and am just praying its not AF.
Have lots of pg/AF symptoms (sore boobs, bloating, not fancying food i normally like).

Keeping everything crossed for those ready to test

(Bubble I think I am cycle 1 if thats what you mean by how long been trying this is our first month hth )
