Have moved everyone on two days as last update Tuesday - hope it is correct. Beanie did you accidentally get moved on a cycle this month as last cycle we were both on 15 as I recall?

Beanie It was technically, but I was pg last time (CP) and saw his registrar who dismissed us, I think if we hadn't been pg and seen the consultant he would have done all of that in the first appt from what he said. Let's hope you don't have AF for more reasons than one

Mollie - that all sounds good. Was this technically your second appointment? I think I will have my period when I go so I soubt they will do any internal exam, just get info from us and maybe blood tests?

Am hoping I get pregnant before then TBH! Wishful thinking!

That all sounds really positive. I had a similar scenario when was mcing all the time before my dd. I didnt hold off but i didnt try too hard either.

When i got the "we dont know why" speech from them i just gave up, low and behold dd is now 8 and she was a really easy pg, so keep your head above water it can happen.

She was conceived on an xmas hols when too much alcohol was consumed and no one was thinking ttc

Thanks for all the messages girls, the appointment actually went a lot better than I expected. At least we got to see the consultant this time and not the registrar, I had been warned that he was abrupt and to the point, but oh my Anyway our appt was at 3.00pm and we left the hospital at 6.00pm he is notorious for running late! Although to be fair the last hour was just trying to get blood out of me Well he info gathered and then did an internal exam, an internal scan and as he had my legs in the air a smear too Nothing showed up on the scan, that's one tick, he asked for 4 more blood tests for me and a chromosome one for DH and I, (I think that's the one I'm silently dreading!) He advised me to lose weight, so really going to knuckle down (after christmas of course) and we're going back for results in approx 10 wks. I asked if we should hold off TTC until then he said it's up to us. So now I have the dilemma of not trying to get pg just in case we can stop another m/c, but if we get the all clear it's just wasted time. I think I want to wait, but will just see how it goes. Phew think that's enough info for now

beanie, reference to Swindon made me laugh - have now got a vision of it being a mecca for all things TTC-perspective related! Course as I work there I know that not to be true

I went to Swindon to see a friend and we had some good chats which put a lot of things into perspective for me so that was good.

Having blood test tomorrow for the urology thing.

Zen - would love some happy news before Christmas...no pressure!

Bubblebell - TTC is mostly a great big waiting game...doesn't it suck?! You never know, you might get lucky. Either way I hope you're not waiting too long.

Tried today to get a dress for wedding in 10 days. Frock I was going to wear just won't fit. Seems boobs have never shrunk back down to size after m/c. Couldn't find anything in shops either so will be wearing a sack then!

Bubble I had the same problem when I came off the pill and had a ridiculously long cycle first time round, will keep everything crossed that it is because you are so lucky!

Big wave to everyone else I have my consultants appt tomorrow, not expecting too much but going armed with a list of questions and info printed off t'internet. Wish me luck

beanie this is my first month off the pill. im 2 wks late tomorrow!

DR did fob me off.. said period was on its way. or i was pregnant and to do a test next week.... so not much help.

hope af comes tho just want to get down to some serious ttc

Bubblebell, have you recently come off teh pill?

It may be that your body is getting back to normal. My first Cycle after coming of the pill was about a week longer than my usual cycle and I really thought I was one of the lucky ones who get pregnant within a month of trying.

Of course maybe you haven't just come off the pill so I am talking nonsense.

I have had a couple of bizzarely long cycles since and it is really frustrating.

If you have only recently started trying your Doc may try to fob you off but tell him/her your concerns about you not ovulating for sure.

dingdong (Leslie Phillips' voice required!) - poor dh too knackered to manage 'one for luck' so will just have to wait and see what happens!

Zen - last month had a 34 day cycle too which was really unusual for me so ended up testing loads of times but turned out I was just late However, sometimes you are 'late' for a reason so cb at the ready and good luck!

bubble - hope things go ok at the the drs today. Maybe write a list of your concerns/questions before you go in so you don't feel so flustered.

how are you all?

STILL no AF for me and a BFN yesterday morning. i am baffled. this has never happened before. i can only assume im not ovulating. i have a drs appointment this afternoon but i am not holding out for many answers... prob be told to just wait for af.

is there anything i should ask??? tests i need.. not got a clue what to say really and scared i will just burst into tears and not tell him what i want.
