OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Thanks pinkie and beanie! I am still hoping that it was too early, but the spotting is very omnious, as do not really believe in implantation bleeding and didn't have any with dd.

Stats are: ttc cycle 3, mc November 08(is ....as dd took us well over a year and was so glad to not have that horror again), CD 24. BFN, I suppose. Uaaah.

Shayera, I will test with you! Good luck to you! And to Beanie and pinkie, 'course.

ClaireDeLoon · 29/12/2008 21:01

aww beanie, shayera and pinkie I have everything crossed for you all!

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 29/12/2008 18:57

Ooooh, and pinkie too! Good Luck. Hope AF stays away and you have extra special reason to celebrate the New Year (even if oyu have to stay sober!)

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 29/12/2008 18:56

Good Luck beanie. Wouldn't it be fab if you could ring up to cancel your appt in Jan! [fingers and toes crossed emoticon]

Still rooting for you too, Shayera.

beanieb · 29/12/2008 16:36

good luck pinkie

comma are you on the list btw? Can't see you there... Let me know all your stats and I'll add you.

pinkie08 · 29/12/2008 15:34

Hi all,

I am still trying to sit on my hands, today is cd26 and i am not spotting, yet. i am telling myself it will be here any minute and not to get hopes up.

comma2 it sounds like you did a too early test anyway, but lps of 10 or more are ok as far as i know, if you are concerned ask the doc.

Good luck beanieb

Comma2 · 29/12/2008 15:01

Good luck beanieb!

tested today and bfn....it is CD 24 and I usually have 27-28 days, so might have been early, especially as was no early-test.
but who am I kidding- I have spotting and had a bit of red blood this morning.

Do you think spotting/bleeding 4 days early (10 dpo) is too short a luteal phase for baby to take hold? I am thinking about going to my doctor, but is major trouble as is far away.

theboob · 29/12/2008 12:29

beanieb im keeping everything crossed for you

beanieb · 29/12/2008 11:16

Morning

wave at theboob hope you manage to pin down your DH!

shayera good luck, hope it was just too early.

jaamy I am amazed at my restraint - I have one test in the house as part of my clearblue trial but am trying hard not to use it.

comma2 I think I did test just before my period came last month but can't remember! Today is CD24 and my spotting usually starts on day 24 so if there's nothing tomorrow then I am officially late!

wave to ClaireDeLoon and mollie

theboob · 29/12/2008 11:04

morning ladies
shayera sorry you got a BFN ,but i'm also a uncontrolable tester and had many a BFN when i had tested to earlyit aint over till the lady in red sings

well AF is over and i'm ready to start bding and DH is nowhere to be seen

wrong time of year to try and pin him in one place long enough

well hope you all have a fab new year and plenty of 2009 babies xxxxxxxxxxx

ShayeraHol · 29/12/2008 10:26

Unsurprising BFN this morning - probably too early to be testing (at least that's what I shall tell myself ). Still spotting but no more yet which is a long cycle for me! Will try to resist testing tomorrow, but feel I should check on Weds as I'm planning to drink loads and eat blue cheese & rare meat for NYE celebrations!

Jaamy, please the BDing went so well and also that your children are so lovely! Always good to be told so.

Comma2 · 29/12/2008 03:13

Beanieb, did you test last month then?
the hcg mimics lh, so that could account for having constantly high on your monitor. I never heard of having TWO weeks of high...I never see more than two days, then peak, basta. If you are still high you prob won't get AF either way. Hmmmhmmm.

Thanks isawjaamykissingsantaclaus! I am sooo very grateful for dd too. Same thing, she is so wonderful we need to make more! Greedy, I know.

isawjaamykissingsantaclaus · 29/12/2008 01:08

Comma - you are in good company here. A few of us should either be holding a new bundle or have baby in tum right now. We try to keep each other going through the highs and lows.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND LOTS OF STICKY BEANS FOR 2009!

Shayera - sending you lots of BFP vibes for when you test.

Beanie - such control, staying away form the test. You know it's too early. Wait a few days. If you can, enjoy New Year and then test. Pooh to your DP. Men are more mody than us girls. If you can't cancel your holiday, what about having a day of pampering. Book a manicure or something and lock yourself in the bathroom for a nice long bath and a good book.

Big waves to everyone else.

Have been BDing away all week after trip to Ireland for a wedding when we confirmed what we thought - we have indeed got the most perfect children in the world, according to several people that we hadn't ever met before. Made me realise that it will not be the most tragic thing if we do not get another baby. We are already blessed. Still another bundle would be nice ALthough I'm probably being greedy.

Off to bed now to try to persuad DH (currently comotose in the armchair) that another BD would be a good idea!

beanieb · 29/12/2008 00:56

I've been getting highs for two weeks though, and the monitor gives a peak after a few highs normally. It's not a sudden leap from low to high unfortunately. I know the highs come from an Estrogen increase and the peak from the LH increase so am assuming as there was no peak I didn't ovulate so didn't get the LH surge you see when you ovulate.

I am due tomorrow but think my period could be delayed if I haven't ovulated so don't want to rush in to testing as I recon I will just get a BFN anyway.

My last period was slightly different to the last few in that it stopped and started and I got spotting about 2 days after it had stopped. I doubt this was implantation as it was before I usually ovulate.

Thank you for the optimism though Comma2 and sorry to hear about your MC and your sister's reaction. Perhaps she doesn't know what to say in case she says the wrong thing?

Comma2 · 28/12/2008 18:33

beanieb, Do you know that ovulation sticks will give you a second line like a high when you are preggers? if you at end of your cycle and get a high... that's what i had with dd. Maybe you should pee in that cup after all....

But don't want to get your hopes up, as is all v confusing, especially if you should be using Clearblue monitor and it never showed peak. The hcg that fakes the LH line on the stick shouldn't have been there between ovulation and implantation. No chance you are still preggo from last cycle, right?

Can I join into everybodies rant? I mc last months and my sis who got pregnant same time won't even tell me how she is doing now (evern though I kept it together for family). Feel shut out of family on top of having shitty xmas without baby in belly.

Mollie whispers "implantation bleed"

OP posts:
ShayeraHolly · 28/12/2008 12:12

Having the same weirdness as last month - v light bleed on Thurs (nice start to Christmas that was), then v minor spotting but tailing off. Last month period proper kicked in on CD23 and nothing yet today so not sure what's going on and getting irritated. Hoping this isn't my new "normal" periods because it's bloody annoying!

theboob · 28/12/2008 10:56

hi all, well AF is coming to an end and so the bding begins

beanieb i'll keep my fingers crossed that your AF stays away tomorrow andif i were you i would prob go to work tomorrow and let him suffer alone

well i'm staying in now until my birthday a week today when i can let my hair down on my last drinking night out for a while(i hope)

wishing you all a happy 2009 and lots of BFP's

beanieb · 28/12/2008 10:11

morning all.

Another high for me. CD23 so expecting period tomorrow, though I wonder if I have had an anovulatory cycle I might not get it when I think.

Am bit annoyed with my OH.

Before Christmas he suggested I take Monday 29th Dec off work. I only have a few days holiday left but he was keen to have a nice stretch of days off together so I booked it. He also told me that sometime over Christmas he's going out with 'the blokes' for a drink.

So we've both been off since the day before boxing day, and spent most of that time lazing around getting cabin fever a bit. Last night he told me he'll probably be going out on sunday night (tonight) and it'll be a 'late one' which means he'll be lazing about in bed most of Monday.

So I'm thinking I may as well go back to work tomorrow and cancel the days holiday I took, so I can use it for something more productive another time instead of sitting about waiting for him to get his arse in gear all day monday. I could do something myself I suppose but it seems like a waste of a days holiday to be honest.

I think he's annoyed with me because I met up with old friends on Friday night (he was invited but didn't want to come) and didn't get in until 2am, though I didn't drink as I was driving and was only that late because everyone else wanted to stay out and I was ferrying people around afterwards.

Rant over, I just had to get it off my chest! Bloody men!
