OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Good luck beanie

So you have had over 6 months between appointments blackrock I'm shocked I thought once you'd got seen it all moved along OK until they put you on the waiting list for IVF.

I've got spotting so AF here tomorrow or today.

beanieb · 08/01/2009 09:07

off for my xray in ten minutes!

Blackrock - did they mean this Sept just gone? I would go back and push for a date. good luck and sorry to hear about your crap spotting etc.

Comma2 · 08/01/2009 00:01

Thanks blackrock.

So how short are your cycles? Do you know when you ov?

blackrock · 07/01/2009 21:08

Sorry to hear that Comma.

Comma2 · 07/01/2009 19:59

Oh I tested pinkie, believe me Got myself into a disgusting testing-frenzy in fact. So no, no implantation of nada, just a crappy af.

blackrock · 07/01/2009 18:38

This is so odd. I had spotting yesterday, then a bit more spotting today and abdominal pain, but not a proper AF, yet.

Have made an app with my GP again, as the Gynecologist said I would hear from the infertility clinic in November (six months from last app).

My cycles have been very short again, so am going back to ask again. I think this part is upsetting me most as without a proper cycle I guess it unlikely.

Hope everyone else is ok. Am keeping up with reading the thread.

pinkie08 · 07/01/2009 17:23

Thanks Comma - have you checked your not pg, sorry if you already gone into this bit but sounds like an implantation bleed to me

From an implantation point i read on another blog that walnuts were good for it so am going to add those to my diet in last 2 weeks of cycle.

Comma2 · 07/01/2009 14:47

Good luck, pinkie!

Thegreatescpe, I feel the same about bd often enough, and so does dh... oh the romance of sweet married life....

blackrock, how are you doing? Everything ok as far as it goes?

Beanie, thanks. I will put a thread up, there has got to be someone out there who knows soemthing....maybe is aftermath of mc? Who knows.

Can't shake hte feeling I should be more Zen about the whole thing and let it happen when it does (aaaaah! runincircles)

Oh Blackrock I so hope it isn't. Hope you are ok.

Comma, sorry to hear about your short period. Not sure what could help

Good luck Pinkie, I have all this to look forward to I hope. Have already had a scan (though it was for something else) but hope I get another one!

pinkie08 · 07/01/2009 10:36

Hi Beanieb,

This time they are doing bloods on me and DH, a scan on me and a sperm test for DH (obviously not me )

The no ejaculation thing is for 3 days before the test so that they make everyone have the same baseline for there tests.

The tests are supposed to re check FSH, LH etc and some other bloods that are routine if going on to have treatment with them.

Its a mind field of new tests.

Comma2 · 07/01/2009 02:15

Hi everyone, hope it's going ok.

I had a bad day on the job. Wished I could be something else than a teacher, as I really don't want to deal with arrogant students' entitlement attitude any more.

Anyway, I noticed AF only stayed for a day. This can't be good. Anybody know how to get a better lining going? There can't be much for baby to implant in....[hmmm]

ClaireDeLoon · 06/01/2009 22:15

I hope it isn't

blackrock · 06/01/2009 21:55

and a tear or two. Day 21 and I think AF has arrived, although I have been trying to kid myself that it is something else.

thegreatescape · 06/01/2009 18:29

not sure I want to get pg enough to iron his shirts or rub his feet!

Have peeled some spuds/scrubbed some carrots though...

beanieb · 06/01/2009 15:04

it's my first consultation so I imagine no tests at all, just getting to know my cycle and arranging dates for tests. Why don't they let you have sex when waiting for the tests to be done? Is it because your OH isn't supposed to ejaculate?

You'd think they would at least think to arrange it for a day when you're not likely to e ovulating!

What tests are you having? Blood tests or something more?

pinkie08 · 06/01/2009 13:42

Yes, its the one with all the tests YUCK and the scan, then in 2 weeks go back for results.

I was going to cancel as cant bd for 3 days upto the 12th which really interferes with my bd marathon but guess will try and make up for it after the tests.

What about you, do you know which tests they doing and all that

beanieb · 06/01/2009 13:36

Pinkie, is it your first appointment?
I have mine not long afterwards.

pinkie08 · 06/01/2009 13:32

Hi everyone,

I am full of cold and am hoping its going to go before next weeks marathon (bd marathon that is)

We are going to the fertility specialist Jan12th which is afew days before ov so not too ambitious this month for that BFP.

for anyones info have read on another thread that walnuts and pineapple juice are good implanation so will be trying that im sure

welcome WaitingforaSproglettoFall wasn't sure if you were CD8 or 20 so I have put you on the list at 9 (one day on from yesterday?) but ammend it if it's wrong

herethereandeverywhere · 05/01/2009 22:16

Evening everyone. I'm still in the office (13 hours and counting) so I'm feeling the BD strain a bit like thegreatescape. It's all very well for Zita bl**dy West to advocate relieving stress by "learning to delegate". I can't frikkin delegate anything without me being at risk of being sacked for not doing my job properly, which I'm sure is even more stressful!

I'm sure it's the same about the frequent BD advice and the Deanna plan, like we all live in a world where we have oodles of spare time to be getting us and our men in the perfect mood on a daily basis....christ, I'm doing well if I make it into the bed without having conked out fully clothed on top of it first, never mind summing up the energy and the...err...CM, to get the BD job done.

All I can say to thegreatescape is men generally respond well to a bit of a fuss and treating them like they are about 5 years old when they are sick. Hopefully he'll return the favour with a BD when he's up to it. You could also offer to help with the shirts and offer to do something to help him relax eg: massage/glass of wine/footrub/cup of tea or whatever?

WaitingforaSproglettoFall · 05/01/2009 22:13

Please may I join?

A newbie to mumsnet and baby making

My next cycle is due around 25 Jan, I'm on CD8 of my current cycle but can't get jiggy this month as I need to finish a course of antibiotics.

I think I'm doing everything I should be at this stage but already getting a little nervous so much for staying chilled.

I guess I'm on CD-20 of cycle-1

Happy new year everyone and happy baby making

ClaireDeLoon · 05/01/2009 21:05

Just lumpy boobs - doctor didn't think likely to be anything worrying but wanted it checked out.

Molliemooma · 05/01/2009 20:49

Claire Thanks
Have I missed something with the breast cancer clinic, I hope everything is OK?

ClaireDeLoon · 05/01/2009 20:44

Hey Mollie I went past the 1st anniversary of my mc aboout when I broke my foot give or take a day or so. It wasn;t as bad for me as the edd but I know you have other edd's to come and feel for you, come moan and wail to us all you like.

I caved and tested earlier - bfn. I also had a call from breast cancer clinic asking me to ring them to book my consultants appointment so will do that tomorrow.
