Just another month for me too, it would seem! Wasn't hoping for much, DH had man flu and dodgy ankle (not that that should matter but painkillers not put him in the right mood!) so out of action most of the month.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Big wave to Ei! Hope things are picking up for you. YOur poor DH having to go through that terrible test when you only have to get prodded and poked and injected and bloods taken, etc, etc... I can see his point !

i just thought i would pop over as i have been taking a little break due to various problems and i have had my referral appointment for the TTC problems
i have to book in for my HSG when i get AF and have blood tests then aswell and investigate what is going on with me (and DH has his sperm test on 28th april which he is VERY put out by)

Just updating the stats (hope I have done them right) and to have a moan. Feel really down today possibly because I am ovulating and am not allowed to have sex and possibly because everyone around me is either pregnant or constantly talking about their new babies. I just know that I am going to turn into a bitter old spinster and it's doing my head in. How on earth can i get over this if I don't manage to have kids - I feel like I will be forever resentful towards everyone.

On top of that I feel like I have put myself into a situation where everyone who knows about my 'struggle' is either too scared to talk to me about it or too stupid to realise that I am having a really shit time which looks unlikely to ever end. Stupid me. sigh

hope everyone is ok though - feel better for getting it off my chest.

Ha ha. I went out and bought those nose strips to stop my OH snoring today, and picked up a box of condoms just in case. It would be ok to have sex with condoms, wouldn't it

Thegreatescape, I ovulated late in my cycle for a few months and it's not considered a problem so long as your luteal phase is not short. Don't know if it could be age or not though.

I am getting ovulation pains, or at least I think that's what they are. Can't have sex though as I have my HSG in just over a weeks time so this month is out for me because I have to make sure I don't get pregnant (as if!) which is a bit Meh. A whole month without sex - what a pain.

hi all, haven't been on for ages. I'm on CD17 at the moment and thought I would try weeing on sticks (ovulation ones, that is). I've been getting 1 line and today I got 2 lines but the second one wasn't the same as the 'test' line. Does this mean its just gearing up? Its a bit late. Cycles seem to have gone to about 29/30 days though. Hope its not cos I'm getting old

I know. Thanks Mollie. I was trying hard not to get excited, but in my head I thought maybe I had struck lucky, so feeling quite low this evening.

On the positive side, this must be a healthier length cycle, so maybe my body is returning to normal and I will have a better chance this month.

Ok, of course couldn't find article again (isn't it strange how you can never find anythign twice?) but erad around a bit.

Google aspirin infertility, and there is lots of info. Seems the general tenor is that nobody really knows if it helps, but it can improve uterus lining (which I think might have been a problem for me).

On the other hand, some say it might mess with ovulation, so if that's under investigation I'd def ask the doctor.

I will try and find the aspirin study.

Baby aspirin is I think 81 mg, on the Bayer pack it says baby in the fine print on the side. I took 1 a day (plus or minus, not too good on doing anything regular). If nothing else, I don't think it hurts.

Just called the doc, they did a blood test yesterday, and she said it's a definite positive! I don't think the chemical one was definite at any point, so excellent!
