OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Morning ladies,

Have been meaning for pop in and catch up for ages but have been so busy at work. Am thinking of you all often.
Barbie [waves] I remember you from Emmsys m/c thread. Welcome here. They're a bunch of brilliant ladies. Excellent news about your doc being so compassionate. Good luck.
Jaamy You're really going for it this month . I never did the cervix checking..I wouldn't know where to start. Lots and lots and lots (.....you get the message) of luck.
Beanie Hope you're hanging in there. Not sure why period would be so heavy but hopefully, as Mollie suggested, you're just having a clear out. Have high hopes for you this month. Would be fantastic to see you with a BFP.
Mollie Am still grinning like a Cheshire cat after news of your promotion. Have a feeling I'll have a text today which says 'am never drinking again!' xxx
Zen Any news?
Blackrock and Glasto How are you ladies? Any news from either of you?
Ei Hope you had fun last night.

Had some brown spotting at 6 and 7 weeks pregnant but was already under the EPU. Had a scan at 5+6 which told us that everything was looking 'a bit small' and that 'i couldn't be sure of my dates' - when you use ovulation sticks and temp for a long time, you know when you've ovulated!! They ordered a repeat scan two weeks later but with the brown spotting I wasn't holding much hope. Anyway, we went to the scan yday and it was a trainee sonographer who turned the screen away and stared at it for a few mins without speaking and then called the doctor. I held DPs hand told him we'd get through it. Doc came in and trainee hadn't even managed to locate my womb. Doc found 8 week baby with a heartbeat immediately. I burst into tears (wouldn't have cried if it was bad news..!) and am now finally starting to think slightly positively.

Hello to everyone else I haven't mentioned. Am sending you all so much luck, esp those who have been waiting for so long.

Hello to everyone else I've missed.

barbie1 · 21/03/2009 09:31

My doctor was the nicest person ever, an english lady who had so much compassion that i cried with relieve when she said she would help me which in turn made her cry! she listened to everything and in the end ordered me to have 4 blood test, one for thyroid and ltc and two others she said we should check out levels of oestrogen and progestren but as we didnt know where in the cycle i am it was impossible to do this. She is checking that my brain is producing the chemicles that it needs to tell the rest of me to ovulate. And on top of all this she has ordered an internal scan for tomorrow morning to see if the wombs lining is correct, to see how many follicles there are and the check for pco.....oh and she wants to check out my cyst too. I should have all the answers by tues and then ill go back in and see what the next step is. I really could of hugged her
She seems to think that the coil might be more to blame for the lack of periods and the mc has kind of just got in the way of my body getting back to normal.......

sorry its all me me me just so relieved that someone is finally listening! (apart from you lot)

Jaamy · 20/03/2009 18:52

Well done Mollie - I'm sure you deserve the promotion. And a sign of good things to come!

Beanie - yes, my first AF after HSG was very heavy. Think it is due to a good flushing out. If you are worried and the heavy bleeding persists, give the clinic a call.

LOL Barbie - not Newcastle, opposite side of the country in NW England. The lady I'm thinking of used to be an air hostess/stewardess and has a 3 yo son. Please say "Hi" to her if you bump into her in queue at pharmacy to buy clearblues in Dubai!!

We have been quite rigid with ourselves this month and been BDing every other day this week. Fairly certain cervix is open (I have felt it - TMI) and am OVing (have had pain and a bit of sickness) so if we don't catch the bean this month I really don't know what else we can do!

Hope everyone else is OK. Any news from those at end of cycles - Ei, Glastochick or zen? I really hope so...Good Luck!

Molliemooma · 20/03/2009 17:46

Beanie Sorry no idea whether AF should be heavier or not, but lets hope your having a spring clean ready for a little visitor
Barbie Good luck for tomorrow, keep us updated how you get on at the docs

Well I had some fantastic news today, got my promotion eventually, I am so shocked but so pleased and really hope that this is the start of a better year for me and for all of us

OMG - my period is SOOOOOO heavy! I am only using towels and I just flooded one completely and leaked through! Is it normal to have a really heavy period after an HSG?

barbie1 · 20/03/2009 12:53

500 miles around newcastle?? its just that i used to live there too! im not bothered about who knows me on here, im not embarresed about using mn!

Jaamy · 20/03/2009 12:10

Yes, barbie - she'd be about 500 miles away from you! Fairly certain I don't know you...your anonymity is safe!

Good luck at the docs...

barbie1 · 20/03/2009 10:58

oh jaamy i get it now is she not even in devon but further north??? i just re read what you posted and i seem to have got myself all of a pickle!

barbie1 · 20/03/2009 10:50

jaamy this is going to sound weird but how do you know where in devon im from? only because on my profile it doesnt say where in devon im from so how do you know your friend lived further north than me? Are you sure you dont know me? I hope this doesnt read as though im accussing you im fasinated thats all

Doctors tomorrow...wish me luck!

barbie1 · 19/03/2009 13:09

thanks jaamy and mollie for the kind offer of clear blue...hopefully i will get an excuse to pay the 28 pound soon, fingers crossed!

I think i have started to see a pattern in my spotting around 28 to 34 days ill have a day of spotting so im guessing this might be my af? doctors on sat so we will soon see.

I have had the worse food poisening ever, caught it from dh (need thought you could catch it but the chemist and google says the bacteria can be passed on!) the spotting has been going on for a few days now but my poor body doesnt know what the hell is going on and ive been laid up in agony for the past 36 hours now.

beanieb sorry i dont know your story but it sounds like you are also glad to see af! i think the doctor im seeing on sat mention clomid when i called up for the appointment, over here you dont have to wait for anything as you just pay for what you want....or more to the point bupa does

beanieb · 19/03/2009 11:06

Am pretty sure I will be ovulating around the end of march which is when I have my next appointment with the fertility people, so my guess is they will discuss further options (Clomid?) with me then but won't be able to prescribe it until the cycle after. Would be amazing if I got pregnant this cycle and so didn't have to have the Clomid.

Never thought I would be excited

Jaamy · 19/03/2009 11:02

Whoohoo! Beanie - gosh did you ever think you would be glad to see AF?! Not long to wait now

Thanks for sorting out my stats...well spotted! Yes, I think am on cycle 20 - kind of lost track but def on CD14.

beanieb · 19/03/2009 10:40

Wooooooooooo Hooooooooooooo got my period . Not long until I can start trying and getting my hopes up after the HSG!

Have updated. Jaamy can you check yours as it looks like your cycles were updated rather than your CD. I went back to 9th March when you were on CD4 and counted up so I think you are on CD 14 not 11. can you change it if I am wrong?

Zen Don't want to get your hopes up but sometimes OPK's will show +ve if you are pg! I am not trying to advocate random testing but if you have a HPT might be worth a shot, will keep everything crossed for you
Jaamy I'm OK thanks, having a few problems at work, it was the EDD for 2nd mm/c last week so been a bit low but feeling a little brighter today Hope all is well with you? What a coincidence knowing someone going through the same stuff as Barbie they do say we all have a doppelganger (sp)
Barbie £28 bloody hell what a rip off! Like Jaamy said more than willing to post some out to you hun

Hey everyone,

Just wondered if anyone had any advice, my periods are usually 30-34 days long and am on cd 28 at the moment. Usually ov around day 17 which i did this month, however, felt this week as if ov again and have done a ov test and bright dark lines? How can this be? It is my 2nd month after a mmc so took a but longer than the 30days to get normal af? Please help.

Jaamy · 18/03/2009 14:58

Thanks for the update Mollie - hope you are doing ok?

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Kyte - well done. Stay well and have a happy pregnancy!

Barbie - just had to have a quick nosey at your profile. I thought I knew you in RL - a friend of a friend recently moved out to Dubai and is due back for a visit in July. She is also TTC and had a mc in Sept 08 (so sorry to hear that). She comes from slightly further north of Devon, though If you (or your DH) would like us to post some clearblues out to you, just let us know!!

thanks for the welcome girls....

jaamy i think ttc turns us all into raving loonies! my dh has likened me to our chocolate lab as he says i will also pee on anything! i have lost count of the number of times in the past few months that i have tested and re tested. Although that is coming to an end as a clear blue out here in dubai cost a whopping 28 quid! ...i shall stock up back in the uk when i return in july

blackrock · 16/03/2009 22:37

Jaamy, I am right with you girl.

Jaamy · 16/03/2009 20:59

Hello and welcome to barbie! CD186! Gosh, that must be driving you mad! You are very welcome here.

Jaamy · 16/03/2009 20:57

shayera - pooh and double pooh! I had lots of lovely hopes for you. Go and spoil yourself a bit. x

It is official. This TTC mullarkey has driven me mad! Guess wheat i did today???? POAS!!!!! There is some logic behind my thinking. AF was very wierd - just a day of proper bleeding. And I have been feeling very bloated. Boobs are mahoosive (even more so than usual) and tender. Have been feeling queasy on and off. Ergo - am up the duff. [Cue Family Fortune style wah-wah]

Obviously I completely dismissed the fact that I had a smear test last week and the practice nurse (though nice but dim) may have noticed a pregnant cervix! DH just gave me a very withering look when I told him my activities of the day. No sympathy (and rightly so) just a vague expression that said, "oh my god she's finally cracked".

Please tell me I'm not alone. We're all mad together, aren't we? Otherwise I may very well tie myself into my own straight jacket!

Molliemooma · 16/03/2009 20:26

Shayer X posts - bloody hell I thought I was going to get all excited!! So sorry for you, don't you just hate it when you get tricked like that

barbie1 · 16/03/2009 16:07

Knock knock...um can i come and join you?

I see this thread was started by a very special friend of mine, who has help me through some tough times when i mc. However im back to normal now and ready to ttc!

Im on cd 186 now
I havent had a af since mc but im off next week to have a full medical to see what the hell is going on! I have been feeling really tired the last few days and have achy boobies which i had last time i found out i was pregnant, but a test has ruled that out

I hope you dont mind me joining it will be good to have others in the same situation

Thank you xx
