OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Molliemooma CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so pleased for you, that's such good news.

Molliemooma · 07/04/2009 18:30

Apologies for the me post, I got a BFP yesterday but I started spotting 4 hrs later and fell apart at work, I had what I thought was an implantation bleed on Friday/Sat nothing Sunday tested yesterday (2 days early) and got a BFP, when I came home from work I lay on the sofa feeling very sorry for myself did another HPT got another +ve. Spotting stopped about 7pm last night and nothing since, did another test this morning and got the quickest darkest line I have every had with any of my pg's.
Not sure what to think at the moment, taking it hour by hour really, feeling happy, scared, lots of hand holding required

Can't believe I am only on CD20! Such a long wait.

Jaamy · 06/04/2009 22:06

Shayera - I'm liking Mr Hol's optimism. You'll just have to BD for fun until they fix you up at the treatment bit!

Barbie - glad to see it looks like things are getting back to normal for you...now the fun begins!

Beanie - how insensitive of the wedding couple to put you on a table full of new/expectant parents. I wouldn't put a couple without DCs on a table like that even if I knew they didn't want children for fear of boring them silly. Maybe they were hoping that the fertility would rub off on you...I hope it does.

Pinkie - so happy for you. Thanks for popping on here - news of a BFP gives us all hope. Sending you lots of sticky wishes. Feel free to graduate yourself when you feel the time is right. And keep coming back with some updates for us, please!

ShayeraHol · 06/04/2009 20:58

Thanks beanie and Pistachio. We've heard no more from him, so are all hoping that no news is good news and his little girl has pulled through. Also hoping he feels able to take as much time as he needs off - knowing our business they'll think that two weeks is plenty of time for him to get over it...

Anyways, on a me note - sub optimal progesterone levels. Am trying to decide if its better to know there's a problem, so potential to fix it but know there's not much chance until we get through the referral/further checks/treatment section. Mr Hol reckons so, but he's irritatingly optimistic at the moment.

beanieb · 05/04/2009 23:00

Nothing to report on the TWW so far, We did manage to get back on the horse so to speak so who knows We did joke about it being a fertile table so I'll be shaking my fist if I get my period I think I am on CD18 so another week or so until I have to resist the urge to test. I didn't find out about the clomid thing but have had a chat with my OH and we're going to go for it and make sure we have sex at all the right times when I am on it.

Shayera I missed your posts, so sorry to hear about your colleagues baby.

PistachioLemon · 05/04/2009 18:47

Evening all, how have your weekends been?

Beanie Wow, what a table. I hate that question, along with the ''Why don't you have children? You'd be such good parents...' comment that usually follows. I usually come out with something vague or lie and say being the eldest of four put me off! How is the 2WW treating you? I'm crossing fingers that some of your table's fertility rubbed off on you...send some this way please Oh and I was wondering, did you find out if you can do month on month off with Clomid?

Shayera I don't know quite what to say about your colleague, how horrible. How were your results from the doc on Friday?

Jaamy Sorry to hear about AF arriving I think we should definitely take a thread visit to the fertility seat of yours... when shall we go?

Molliemooma How's your 2WW? Still sore (.)(.)? Oh I hope it's good news for you. Wednesday is soooo soon, have you held out on the testing? and do you have any other symptoms? I have absolutely zilch to report unfortunately I'm on CD24 so AF due on Friday. But I really don't think it is my month - no particular reason except I don't feel any different, and also I didn't ovulate until CD17 or 18 and I've convinced myself that that is too late to stick. Maybe I need to concentrate on gourmet sex next time! ;)

Barbie Great news about +ve OPK

beanieb · 05/04/2009 17:07

Hi all, been away for a wedding. In an amazing piece of luck we were seated at a table of strangers, one couple 5 weeks away from giving birth to twins, another couple just had their first scan, the third couple at their first wedding since the birth of their son.

In my head I just kept thinking 'any minute now, any minute now, any minute now' and then someone asked 'so what about you, do you have any children?'

Sigh

On the other hand, someone did say 'well this must be the most fertile table in the whole wedding. Fingers crossed!

barbie1 · 05/04/2009 10:19

hi girls...mum has been staying with us for 2 weeks so its hard to get a word in edge ways let alone get on here well a update from me is that after 200+ days since mc i finally got +ve on the opk thingy!! [bsmile} so i guess im on the 2ww? After calling the doctor im too take the last day of spotting which was the 19 of march as my last af so hopefully things are finally getting back to normal

So how is everyone, sorry for all the af girls...on the positve you are closer to trying again!

pinkie08 · 03/04/2009 10:33

Hi Jammy Thank you so much for coming onto IVF thread. Its really early days for us but being of the OCD nature when it comes to testing ihave done loads!!

Yesterday it said +ive 1-2 weeks, this am it said 2-3 weeks thats got to be a good sign i think.

We have a scan on the 20th but might try and find somewhere for slightly earlier.

You are right YOU will get there in the end

ShayeraHol · 02/04/2009 20:57

Thanks Mollie - amuses me that you can tell me what my GP is so useless at passing on! Apparently I can phone tomorrow for results of this one so going to try for more info.

Jaamy - move is to the Reading area. I don't really know if it'll be any better or not, haven't got any friends in that bit of Reading so can't ask for input or get a temporary address. May just have to bite my lip until we're shifted (probably got plenty of other things to worry about for the next three months!). Sorry to see you back at the top!

And ditto Claire. We're really racking the numbers up in here

Thanks for the kind words for my mate at work - I haven't heard anything about the little girl, kind of hoping no news is good news.

Jaamy · 02/04/2009 11:00

Thanks Claire - we will get there in the end!

Ooops, started last post about 2 hours ago and then got interrrupted.

Hi Mollie - may be we should take a "thread trip" to the fertility seat. One of us is bound to get lucky . I've had the same sore (.)(.) since OV. Trying not to get hopes up. AF due before the weekend so we shall see.

And just spotted Claire at the top of the list - sorry, did I give you the kiss of death?

Jaamy · 01/04/2009 22:12

Oh Shayera - how awful. I don't know what to say, your poor colleague and his wife. We are struggling to get our little beans, I can't imagine what it would be like to go through a whole pregnancy and lose a baby. Just reminds me that this thread is only the start of a very long journey. Will say a little prayer for the poorly twin.

Sorry to hear you've had no news from your tests. It's so very frustrating all this to-ing and fro-ing. When are you moving? Do you know the area? Could you sign up at a GPs there now and give a friend's address temporarily?

Beanie - poor you. I can't remember being told one way or the other about taking a break with the clomid. Definitely ask.

PL - don't think there is ever a "good" or "bad" time to TTC. Just keep going and what will be will be.

Molliemooma · 01/04/2009 21:44

Same as mine then, so checking for FSH and LSH levels to ensure OV has taken place

OP posts:
ShayeraHol · 01/04/2009 20:42

They're CD21 equivalents (which is CD16 for me because I'm short)

Molliemooma · 01/04/2009 20:38

Barbie I forgot you How are you doing hun? You've been a bit quiet for you??

OP posts:
Molliemooma · 01/04/2009 20:37

Glasto & ClaireSorry to see you back at the top, how are you both doing?
Beanie Sounds like you coped with the news of your friends pg really well, but sorry to hear your feeling low. I know what you mean about pressurizing OH for sex at the right time, to be honest I'm so off it the rest of the time I feel so guilty! This TTC malarky is shite! If it's any consolation one of the girls on my other thread has got pg on her 2nd cycle of clomid and she's expecting twins!
Zen Sorry to hear you are being messed about with your cycles
Blackrock Definately agree with Jaamy getting a fitted dress is definately a good way of guaranteeing a BFP along with thegreatescape clearing out all your pg related stuff
Jaamy Think you might need to give us all the address of that fertility seat
Pistachio How's the 2WW treating you? Mine is being a b*tch this month, had sore (.)(.) since I OV'd which is unusual plus some other symptoms but just keep convincing myself that I WILL NOT test early, AF due next Weds so will just have to wait and see
Shayer What awful news about your colleague, so very sad. Are the blood tests your having on certain days of the month are they CD3 or CD21?

OP posts:
ShayeraHol · 01/04/2009 20:15

Hey folks

Had blood tests again this month - failed to get a decent explanation for why, need to find time to phone the doc - phlebolomist or whatever they're called said that I'd have to come back every month, but no details of what they're looking for or when anyone's going to tell me what's going on! Can't wait to move and get a new doctor.

Sad day in the office today - one of those that puts stuff into perspective - a colleague had complications in the birth of his twins, they've lost one and the second is seriously ill. Makes me think - nothing that I'm going through is anywhere near as bad as that. Feeling a bit introspective tonight as a result.

PistachioLemon · 01/04/2009 10:46

I've no idea I'm afraid. Maybe some of the other ladies would know? If not, I guess you should ask your doctor, and if you can't do one month on, one month off, then perhaps you could delay starting it until the month after your OH goes on his stag do?

My DH is also v stressed. He is freelance and work is very quiet at the moment so he's worried that things are not going to pick up and we would have to try to sell the house. Probably not the best time to be ttc but we talked about it and decided that we would kick ourselves if things did pick up and we'd missed the opportunity, and if things don't pick up, well then we'll just have to deal with it.

To be honest, I never know how to make my DH feel better when he's stressed and down about things. Sometimes a talk helps, sometimes he just needs to go out and see his friends, and sometimes it's best just to leave it until he's ready to talk or feeling better.
