oh congratulatios sausage that's fab news.
I have just talked to dh about our dilemma, and warned him I might be doing things whilst he's asleep...he didn't say much

sausagemcgrah · 29/11/2008 18:19

Hi everyone,

Hmmmmmmmmmmm vjay -that's a tricky one. If it was me i'd just pin him down whenever possible within those days, tired or not! And I was reading lately how it's the 4 or so days leading up to ov that are really important so I'd make sure you're doing it lots then too.

So.... I have a bit of news.....

I tested yesterday and a lovely, shiny, happy, healthy (I hope!) BFP!!!!!!!!!

I tested again today and yippee! Another BFP!

I couldn't be happier! It's been 7 weeks 6 days since my miscarriage and I feel like the luckiest eprson alive to be pregnant again already.

I am going to treasure every minute of it this time, and take nothing for granted. I'm so happy I might pop!

Vjay - I thought we'd missed the important day for doing the deed, but seems it didn't matter anyway! We just randomly did it lots throughout the month and it seemed to work!

VJay · 29/11/2008 12:20

I have a problem. Dh is away this weekend, which is fine because I'm only on CD 10-11, but when he gets back he's going straight onto night shift for a couple of nights, so for the crucuial ov days he'll be soooo tired. What should I do?, could I siphon in anyway?. So much for me being relaxed about the whole thing.

louisesh · 28/11/2008 19:27

Hi everyone,

It's been a quiet day on here!

Glad you had a nice day louisesh villagemum, I'm going to have a look at thread now to see what hardcore TTC is all about! I am a bit scared by the idea of temping etc. I'm a nightmare as it is without more to obsess about! On second thoughts I'd better stay away.

How's everyone else doing? Big Wave!!

VJay · 28/11/2008 12:51

Hello barbie, great to see you on here too!!

sausage, know just what you mean about switching from laid back (during pg which ended in mc) to tense...

louisesh, how are you doing today?

iggylou, welcome! There are a million tips on the 'grapefruit drinking' thread - those ladies are really SERIOUS about ttc! Most important thing is finding you when you ovulate though, I'd say.

sabs good luck with your visa!

iggylou · 28/11/2008 09:38

Thanks for the welcome

anyone got any tips/ suggestions? or is there another thread I should hunt for?

Am taking some Folic Acid... am wondering what elase I should do (apart from the obvious!)

Sabs1981 · 28/11/2008 09:11

Evening everyone

Sabs - the exercise sounds good. I really should lose the extra 20 pounds I'm carrying before ttc but am craving pasta due to the cold!

louisesh - poor you, sounds like this are pretty crappy at the moment. Chin up hun, it will get better.

Barbie1 - are you around, how did your appointment go today?

sausagemcgrah · 27/11/2008 19:52

Weird -twice -sorry!

sausagemcgrah · 27/11/2008 19:51

Hi everyone,

louisesh, sorry to hear you've had such a bad day. I hope someone can get to the bottom of this soon for you. I know exactly what you mean about wishing the previous miscarriage pregnancy had never happened. I think that so often as it really does seem to take a very long time for a body to recover from something like that - mentally and physically, and it has really affected how I feel about being pregnant in the future. I was sooooo laid back and easy going with my last pregnancy! Now I'm like a completely different person and I don't like it at all. Everything is so scary and I don't trust my body at all anymore.

Hi and welcome and good luck iggylou sabs - good luck with the fitness thing. Classes sound like a god idea. I hope it works. Are your India plans still on at the moment?

Hi to everyone else!

It's Friday tomorrow. Yippee. I am feeling calmer today so those vibes must have worked Sabs. I have also not had a chance to buy any pregnancy tests which has got to be a good thing. Although I am desperate to! I have had massive period pains all day though - a bit weird as AF not 'due' until Sun and normally I don't get pains in the run up to it just when it starts. On the other hand though, nothing suprises me now! Anything could happen!

I will talk to myself then

I have decided that I am going to do something about my fat-ness and go to some exercise classes next week for a few weeks until (IF) i go to india. All my clothes are getting extremely tight
Don't mind the increase of weight on my boobs but the belly is not looking good at all.....

Ask me again this time next week if I kept to my promise....

Night night all, must go to bed before I slide under the desk with exhaustion!

Sausage who better to give advice than someone who's going through all the same emotions

Sabs1981 · 26/11/2008 22:20

sausage feel rubbish at giving advice as I seem to be going through every single emotion that everyone goes through on here as well

but am sending you lots of "calm down woman!" vibes lol
