Hi louisesh,

We BD'd about 10 times altogether I think in the month (about every other day after day 8), but I thought we'd missed the crucial day as did it on about day 12 but not again until day 16 (of a 28 day cycle - I'm guessing as not had another period to confirm this.) So was very suprised actually when found out I was pregnant.

It was hard BD'ing as much as we should have as I was feeling up and down because of the MMC. I was also suprised I managed to get pregnant again so quickly as I've been so emotional that I thought that would affect ovulation etc. Apparently not!

Hope this helps, and I'm glad today went okay for you.

louisesh · 02/12/2008 20:33

Hi SAUSAGEMCGRAH how nice to be missed!!!! Appointment this pm ok it was actually one of my colleagues i was seen by,she couldn t see any abnormalities or inflammation the internal was fine not painful which pretty much eliminates an infection.A swab was taken should be able to get the results in a couple of days.

Please can i ask you a personal question? How often were you BD? prior to your good news now.

sausagemcgrah · 02/12/2008 19:33

Hi everyone,

louisesh, there you are! I'd missed you! Glad that you had a nice break though. How did the appointment this afternoon go? I hope you get some answers.

Sabs - Yey,, I'll stick around for definite then! When do you go to Inida? Are you there all over Christmas? Are you looking forward to it? I hope your day today was better and that you didn't have any more bad dreams. When I was pregnant last with my missed miscarriage I kept having horrid dreams (I think it was a sign), but 2 nights ago I dreamt I was breastfeeding the new baby. I'm taking this as a good sign!

Hi eevryone else! Mrsdisorganised - how funny was that triial with the blue guy on Celebrity last night! Ha ha!

louisesh · 02/12/2008 12:04

Works getting me down, i havent had a proper break this year and I had a really horrible nightmare about losing another angel which has plagued my thoughts all day but trying not to make anyone sad with my morbid thoughts...we have to keep this thread upbeat!

Hi everyone,

Thanks to you all for your lovely messages. I still can't believe it. More than that though, I think I don't want to get too excited following my miscarriage. It all seems a bit unreal as it happened so soon. I think I'll just try and relax a bit now, and try and enjoy being pregnant without thinking about it too much. At least until I'm a good few weeks in and it seems more real. I'll stick around on this thread too if that's okay with everyone. I don't really want to join the August antenatal thread as I'm being a bit superstitious and don't want to count my chickens so to speak.

barbie - any sign of your period yet? All the other signs sound like it's coming, and perfect timing with DH coming home soon too. Fingers crossed for you.

sabs, great you got your visa sorted, and also not long till you can TTC. It will be time before you know it, and you've given your body a good chance to recover. How long are you going on holiday for? Sorry to hear your day was a bit rubbish too. Was it something in particular or were you just feeling a bit down?

Nomoremagnolia, sorry - I'm no help either. I do know that everything and anything seems to happen after a miscarriage though. I hope it settles down.

welcome and good luck mrsdisorganised.

Sabs1981 · 01/12/2008 20:52

welcome mrsdisorganised of course you are welcome here the more the merrier!

Good luck for ttc too

What are you up to this evening? I'm cheering myself up by listening to Take That's new album which came out today!

hinomoremag my periods were a lot shorter after 1st mc, i had an erpc that time, but they were normal length after 2nd mc.

nomoremagnolia · 01/12/2008 18:37

well done sausage fingers crossed for a sticker.
I'm not sure what's going on here (nothing newthere then) I have just stopped bleeding (started tues eve) but it's too early to be a period isn't it? Is it the m/c or was that over with the bleeding at the time of the EP diagnosis? I don't expect you guys to know, I'm just so confused!!

Sabs1981 · 30/11/2008 22:09

iggylou welcome to the thread. Hope you stick around. Have a lovely bunch of ladies on here.

Hello, it's very quiet in here today

VJay · 29/11/2008 19:18

There's nothing romantic about serious baby making, a job needs doing and I WILL get it done . No I'm not that bad, after 2 mc's I'm at the point where what will be will be (after my little panic about tired DH that is).

sausagemcgrah · 29/11/2008 19:08

Thanks vjay, I am so excited to see it on the list - thank you! I can't really believe it!

Ha ha about you doing things to DH when he's asleep. It's been hard TTC after the mmc as I've been feeling so down, and it's caused arguments quite a few times, but then after arguing and feeling sad all day I'm like 'come on DH, we've got to get busy!' Very romantic indeed! But it worked! Yippee yippee.
