Hi to everyone else.

Hi pecan welcome my dr said as long as you re emotionally ready you can ttc again straight away.I ended up waiting for my first AF as i had a lot of intermittent bleeding post medical management of a MMC in October. Then i had the AF from hell lasting 14 LONG days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyhow off to get glammed up for a night on the town!!!!

VJayMerrilyOnHigh · 12/12/2008 13:55

hi pecan, I have read that you can try straight away, doctors advise to wait for one period, but that is for dating purposes. I think it is really entirely up to you, and when you feel ready. We were going to wait until after Christmas, which would've been 2 cycles, but after last af we decided to go for it, and we are now on the 2ww. Good luck to you

I will be watching X Factor tomorrow too

Sabs1981 · 12/12/2008 09:15

Thanks mrsdisorganised I will check those websites.

Hi pecanpie sorry cant help with your question but wanted to say hello anyway and sorry to hear about your mc

Sabs waves to everyone else. It Friday, yay! Anyone has any plans for the weekend, apart from watching the x-factor final!

Hi. I've been lurking and reading all of your posts and wish yo all lots of luck to conceive soon!

I was just wondering if anyone knew... I had a mmc and D&C on 9/10 November. I did a pg test after 3 weeks which was negative (i didn't check earlier). I then had EWCM over the past couple of days and did an ovulation test last night which showed a very faint surge. Do you think it's really possible? I only ever 'pass' the ovulation tests on the last one which is left so I have no more to double check with... I'm going to try not to buy any more otherwise I will drive myself mad!

Is it wise to be trying so soon? Do you think my body/womb be in decent shape already?

mrsdisorganised · 11/12/2008 22:28

Hello Sabs have you been on sites like My monthly cycles or fertility friend, they're really helpful! I'm not very good at this stuff, and I'm sure my body is still out after mc in the summer, so not very helpful I'm afraid but wishing you lots of luck and babydust!!

Sabs1981 · 11/12/2008 22:20

btw I have a couple of questions to help me get ready ttc again and wondered if anyone could help me.

When you count the number the days for your cycle, I know you count the first day of your AF as day 1, but what is the last day, the day before your period starts again or the day before?

Also I have read a lot on the conception threads about taking your temparature. Where is the best place to buy these thingies to test your temp???

louisesh hey I was born in Yorkshire! That's where my nan and rest of mum's family live Sorry to hear you're feeling down. Know what you mean about seeing other pregnant ladies and comparing. There's someone at work who came back from maternity leave a few months ago, and is pregnant again. She is due 22nd april, a week after I would've been due She's planning her maternity leave for march and I keep thinking it should have been me! Sending you lots of baby dust!

Thanks for your note Debi gives me a lot of hope

Sabs1981 · 10/12/2008 21:53

sausagemcgrah sorry to hear you had a bleed. You must be going out of your mind, especially after what happened before. But hopefully things will turn out OK for you. You can feel sorry for yourself all you want. We're here to listen to you. Got everything crossed for you

louisesh how have you been otherwise (apart from not hitting the gym!)? You sound more excited than me about going to India, lol!

Sadly, my nan's back in hospital. They had to call an ambulance as her blood sugar went really low and she went hypo. Paramedics had to work on her to get her to come around. They going to keep her in hospita for a while.

Had our xmas lunch at work today which was nice...

sausagemcgrah · 10/12/2008 18:45

Hi everyone,

Glad you had a lovely Eid Sabs

I'm having a bit of a tough time as I had a bleed yesterday (5 weeks 2 days). Boo Hoo. I'm feeling very sorry for myself, and am worried I'm going to lose this one too now. It was very strange though. I had to rush to the toilet at 5.00 and there was a sudden small rush of blood. I then had slight spotting on and off until 8pm -but nothing at all since. Apart from huge worrying. Boo. I saw the Dr today and she has booked me in for a scan next week (6 plus 2) as this is the earliest they like to do them. So I'll just have to sit tight until then. It's going to be a long week.

I hope everyone else is well
x

Sabs1981 · 10/12/2008 17:10

Hello ladies, just another quick one to say hello to everyone, and to bump this thread up a bit

Eid was nice, just ate loads as usual, which is not good, especially after all my talk of going back to the gym (will be heading back there tomorrow!)

Had a couple of days off work, went back in today, so feel quite refreshed

And only 2 weeks to go until I go to India, which also coincides with my next AF, after which we can ttc again! That thought seriously keeps me going, after these past few months

will catch up later on or tomorrow...

louisesh · 08/12/2008 12:19

Happy Eid sabs ENJOY.I had a boring weekend didn t really do much works xmas do was good though.

Did manage to BD tho!!!! SOO.....DH IS WANTING ME TO GET pg ASAP also now as i think with the fact xmas is looming and is all about kids so fingers crossed.

Don t like decaf tea!!! Have you tried fruit tea for a bit of variety?

Hi and waves to everyone!!!

iggypiggy · 08/12/2008 11:49

Happy Eid Sabs

Haven't tried decaf tea sausage - but have been drinking redbush tea - which is nice - but you have it without milk - well I have been! Then I've been having a cup of normal tea in the morning. So don't think is really much caffeine by having one tea a day.. Or did you want to totally cut it out?

sausagemcgrah · 07/12/2008 21:23

Happy Eid Sabs! How will you celebrate tomorrow? My mouth is watering at the 5 different types of cake! Are you a good cook? Your hair sounds nice too.

How's everyone else on here? I'm feeling a bit lazy reading about all the excercising going on! I just keep eating (but telling myself it's all good for the baby) (veg etc! Trying to do everything right.)

Has anyone ever tried decaf tea? I drink lots of tea but really need to cut down. I want it to taste like tea though.

Hi arena, sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I had pregnancy tests show up strong positives the day before my period returned (4 weeks 2 days after medical management of missed miscarriage). I don't know how it was possible to show up positive one minute then get my period the next. Very very strange.

Have a good week everyone!

Sabs1981 · 07/12/2008 20:50

Just a very quick note to say hello to every1 - its been a long time since i've had time to go on here - RL taking over, but dont want any1 to forget me!

Its Eid 2mrw, which is the Christmas equivalent for Muslims, so have been very busy getting things ready for that, made 5 different types of cake yesterday! Got my haircut today, shorter than it has been for a while, DH loves it

Also my nan came home from hospital on Friday, just in time for EId, which is great. Mum and family have gone up to spend Eid with her, its a shame I couldnt go up but DH couldnt get time off work.

Will catch up again in a couple of days. Love to all and Happy Eid!

Hi ARENA my mmc was medically managed on the 17th oct and i didn t have my first AF until the 14th nov to the 28th of nov!!!! I only got a negative test 5 weeks post the same, about the 20th november.

IT takes ages!!! at my medical management i should have been 11 weeks pg but it stopped growing at 7 weeks soo in total it took 7-8 weeks later to get a negative test. Its all soo cruel after what we ve been through.

My pg teste also took ages to fade from pos to fainter positive!!!

arena · 05/12/2008 14:04

Hi everybody im on the m/c board as well, i also had a m/c on the 4th of nov, and today i thought that i would do a pregnancy test to make sure that hormones have left my body.

Could'nt believe its still showing a strong positve, should it be geting fainter, also i have cramps for the last two days, feels like peroid is on its way, can i still get a period with strong pregnancy test.

i am really confused.

louisesh · 05/12/2008 13:38

hI AND waves to Turtledove!!!!

iggypiggy · 05/12/2008 12:22

I think I might buy an OPK kit in the new year.

I just joined Fertility Friend - but the charts want loads of info that I don't have... so maybe I was a bit premature with that one - should have bought some testing kits first...

What are you all doing at the weekend? Anything nice? We are getting our tree - I know its early - but am very excited and we aren't at home over Christmas - so want to make most of having one in the house

turtledove23 · 05/12/2008 08:28

Hurrah! OPK says next 24 hrs and DH coming back at 12!
Thanks for the welcome!

mrsdisorganised · 04/12/2008 22:17
