Hi all, nothing to report here (as expected) do keep lurking though!

MJIM - I told you your DS was a clever boy and hence the behaviour. My DS1 has been exactly the same and is head and shoulders above the others in his class now he is in reception. Ride out the difficult behaviour and think how smug you are going to be in the playground in a couple of years time

HC - well done on the lack of testing and symptom spotting. Did you ever go to the docs?

H2MJ - hope Zack is behaving himself!

Ceebee - had forgotten for a glorious moment that it was Children in Need day. Can't stand the stupidity on TV

Belgian - hope your sis is OK.

Chubby - sorry about AF. Keep your chin up. August is a really bad month for a baby anyway (educationally speaking).

BSL - good luck with the ttcing! And well done on the soup! Last time I made it - it exploded out of the blender so haven't attempted it since. DH and I are huge soup fans though so I am inspired!

Hi to everyone else!!!!!!

Heartmum2Jamie · 14/11/2008 10:05

Hi all! Flying visit from me just to say we are all doing ok. Zack is a week old already (boohoo, I really want time to slow down!) and is such a good baby - so far! We are all in love with him, even the boys are quite taken with him. There is a new pic of him in my profile.

I will do my best to catch up today and try and respond to everyone. Love & hugs

ceebee74 · 14/11/2008 08:43

CD sorry that this month isn't your month but get those tights out

MJIM sorry you are feeling a bit crappy but great news about your DS - you must be so proud!

Knax no symptoms is not necessarily a bad thing as it is still early days and I have a friend who has sailed through 2 pg's without any symptoms at all

Belgian glad to hear your sister is remaining strong let's hope that continues.

Hey to everyone else

DS gone to nursery today for a pyjama party for Children in Need - he was so chuffed to be able to wear his Igglepiggle PJ's all day!! Then he is going to his cousin's party at teatime - which by complete coincidence is also a pyjama party so I don't even need to get him changed

Have a good day

Damn, damn Chubby-so disappointing. Lol, did go out with a boy who had a nylon fetish. Did wonder why he kept disappearing into the bathroom and coming out in a different pair of boxer shorts every 20 mins. Was young at the time. Hope you get lucky this cycle.

Knax-you won't feel icky until 6 weeks plus anyway. {{hugs}}

Big wave!

Bugger, am out.

Typical, I waited until today (CD31) to test then 2 hours later af arrives!!

Back to having to seduce DH again. Better buy some tights - it's his fetish

Knax · 13/11/2008 18:11

Hi all,
Hope all well. Must admit am getting increasingly paranoid re lack of symptoms due to lack of symptoms with mmc. Think it's better if I try not to think about it too much (I can't read the antenatal thread as everyone going on about feeling sick etc). Until the scan I'm just trying not to think! (v difficult of course)
Knax xx

Hi HC,

Good to see you and glad you're about, but taking things easy! We are nearly cycle buddies this cycle! As much as I didn't want to be taking too much notice of my cycle this month, I have had quite painful OV pain Tuesday and Wednesday. Did an OPK test (I know I'm naughty!) on Tues to see if I was imagining it and got a +...so I think I probably OV'ed yesterday. Fingers crossed you ovulate soon too and don't have a weird cycle like last month! And I also hope these horrid headaches go away soon too! Could it be the change in daylight??? We've had some horrid weather lately and perhaps the headaches are caused by a lack of natural light...? just a thought...

Waves to all,

Bluestar x

HumphreysCorner · 13/11/2008 09:27

Hi all

Am still here but doing as Soosy suggested and concentrating on Christmas to take my mind off TTCing. Am approaching OV time and am terrified of having no OV like last month. Do lurk though. Am suffering terrible headaches all the time so either stress or time of life approaching.

Rang Lincs FM for the mystery voice competition this morning and didn't expect to get straight on the radio. Nearly died of embarrassment and got the answer wrong. Luckily no listen again facility so can't torture myself listening to me on the radio.

Good luck for impending births, potential testers and hope new babies are just fine.

Hi guys,

I went and saw Easy Virtue at the cinema with my mum and dad!! Awesome movie!! it was hilarious!

CE - I'm fne...feeling lots more positive. At the end of the day, there's nothing I can do about things, so we'll do the best we can TTC and see what happens. I know I have up and down days, but I'm kicking back seeing what happens. Loving the comments from your pupils!! Teenagers are a strange lot...great comments though!!!

If anyone does fancy trying pumpkin soup, look up Valentine Warner's recipe on the BBC food website. We did a small pumpkin and divided the recipe by a third. It worked out well. Best pumpkin soup I've had, as it can sometimes be a little too sweet for me.

Majormoo - oh I am so jealous of the waddling!!! I want to waddle. I know the reality and my romantic image of PG are very different, but waddling around christmas shopping sounds so nice...but only with some family help for the carrying!

Myjob - I hope you have a lovely time with your sis and how lovely to go into the school with Naomi...so glad she was a little sweet heart!

Ceebee - I am sure that Josh will be a great big bro! At least this time around you won't wonder what to do with your little one! I imagine first time for everyone is like that!!!!! I know i will be in awe of our little one (if we are blessed)

Anyhow, very tired now! Spurs beat Liverpool too, so I have come home to the celebrations!! yay!!

Evening all

MJIM sounds like you had a lovely day and how nice that your sister is coming to stay again

Majormoo oh I hate how people feel it is ok to comment on your size - I always find myself knocking a week or so off when people ask me how long I have left as it just means they look less !

CE you will cope with a baby of course although I clearly remember bringing Josh back from hospital and me and DH staring at him thinking 'oh st, what are we supposed to do with him??' I don't think Josh has a clue what is happening - he knows 'babaSam' is in my tummy but I don't think he has any concept of what or who 'babaSam' is should be fun when I get home from hospital I guess

HC where are you?? I wonder if she is taking some time out - she is still beating playing me at Scrabble so I think she is ok.

majormoo · 12/11/2008 20:15

ceebee/juanitad-how exciting-so little time left.

Sounds like you had a good day MJIM.

spent today Xmas shopping with mum and my sister. In pretty much every shop I bought something in, the shop assistants commented on how I can't have long left. Did feel a bit like a weeble waddling around.

Hope everyone else is OK

Hi everyone!

HC - are you ok???? We haven't heard from you for a while [worried face]

BSL - nice to hear you sounding a bit more upbeat . Your pumpkin soup sounds fab - I have never had it ever!!!

juanitad - love the bump! Quite small really so will be interesting to hear how big your baby is! Any day now!

ceebee - so glad all is well with you and baby. Not long to go although I bet it feels like an eternity. Is Josh aware of what is about to happen???

MJIM - the newest pics of Naomi are gorgeous! She has just changed so much! I love the little hat/beret outfit! LOL! at you saying you couldn't cope with 3! (I think I might struggle with 1!!! lol lol!!!)

bellie - lovely to hear from you! Hope things are looking up a bit! Agree we def need a new bump pic - I want to know how I will look in 8 weeks!

waves to HM2J, mandy , dawn and everyone my addled brain has missed!

I'm fine, had another growth spurt this week! All the kids at school have been asking to see the scan pics so I ended up photocopying them and taping to the board! Some even asked to feel my belly! One girl asked me if I thought it was weird that "that" (points at pic)was in "there"(points at belly)!!!! how strange teenagers are hey!!!!!

Sorry for the appalling spelling and grammar on that last post!!

bluestarlavender · 12/11/2008 13:51

OOOh Juanitad, I agree with Ceebee...what a lovely conpact bump! I am very jealous!!

Ceebee - glad the MW apointment went fine! andthat your BP is low. At least, now you know you've made the right decsion re: EC.

Wow not long for any of you guys now!! All this little arrivals is so exciting! I love seeing all the pictures.

Anyhow, back to work!

BSL x

ceebee74 · 12/11/2008 12:48

Juanitad - what a lovely, compact little bump you have - am v Mine is about twice that size (and that is not exaggerating )

Been to the MW today for my last ante-natal appointment (yippee!) - all is well BP seems to be staying low this pg which is fab as it shot up from 35 weeks when pg with DS and I was constantly being monitored at hospital/MWs and I really didn't want to go through that again. Baby is lying back-to-back which was the reason I ended up with a c-section with DS so it looks like an elective cs is the right decision anyway!!

juanitad · 12/11/2008 09:40

Morning all,

Have put a new bump pic on profile - didn't realise it had been so long since the last one, that was at 16 weeks, so you can really see the difference, not surprisingly!!

bluestarlavender · 12/11/2008 09:34

Morning everyone,

My pumpkin soup was lovely last night!!! The onions in puff pastry were nice too, but I did really big onions and I think next time it should be little small onions in puff pastry.

Myjob - the new pics arre lovely!!! She's such a cutie

And yes, lots of bump pics wanted!!!

HC - not heard from you for a while...you okay???

MJIM lol about the cheesecake - I had a feeling whilst I was typing that it would be out of bounds since it was homemade ah well, it can join the pile of white wine, Camembert, Stilton and rare steaks that are waiting for me

Bellie if you want to see a huge bump, go and look at my profile There is a photo of my bump at 33 weeks - 5 weeks later it is now MASSIVE!!! I actually can't eat my dinner on my lap anymore as there is not enough room for the plate to balance
