No news yet of Ceebee. I will wear out the refresh button if I am not careful, lol!

MJIM, how awfully scary for you & Naomi. I am glad the inhalor worked and hope she is feeling much better soon, poor little love.

BSL, glad you had better news at the appt and that you got the first test out of the way. Fingers crossed for more good results.

HC, I am sorry to hear you are confused by your cycle, it does sound odd. I have my fingers crossed that it is implantation too.

Juanitad, I wouldn't worry about baby's head not being fully engaged, none of mine engaged before labour started. Still sending all the labour vibes I have!

Zack has been really unsettled all morning, wouldn't let me put him down. I did put him in the wrap sling but as it isn't a stretchy material, I had to take him out to breastfeed as I couldn't work out how to nurse him while in the sling for the life of me, lol! See, even us experienced parents have a steep learning curve with each new baby! Thankfully he is alseep right now. So going to make myself a cuppa while it's quiet (the boys are watching their hour of tv, thier choice to do it straight after lunch.)

Well, back from the midwife. Baby is 3/5 engaged - so exactly the same as 2 weeks ago, at my last appointment! Very disappointing. MW has given me tips on getting the head fully engaged so I am more ready for labour. Have a sweep booked for next Tuesday, and the following Monday will be my induction day if baby STILL hasn't arrived, as that is when I will be 42 weeks. So one way or another I should have my baby by Monday 1st December at the latest! I hope!!!!

MJIM - sounds like little Naomi has had a tough time of it over the last few days, and you too! Hope she is fighting fit again soon.

bluestarlavender · 20/11/2008 11:42

Hi everyone,

Well went and had my blood test this morning...so results next week. I think there's loads more tests that I'll need done, so I am going to see if I can get them done before the appointment and try to move things forward so we can discuss treatment options.

HC - doesn't sounds like AF to me...implantation perhaps!!! Fingers crossed!!

Myjob - oh my goodness, poor little Naomi and poor you. It must have been so scary. I am glad the inhaler is helping!! Sending lots of hugs!!

Hannah - So sorry about AF!!! She's wicked like that! gets our hopes up by coming a little late! Hope you get a BFP soon!

Mandy - of course you can think about all the lovely baby things!! I'm loving the idea of you and CE competing with the christmas baubles, dressed in shiny sparkly outfits!!

Good luck to Ceebee! And hope things go well, Juanitad, with the MW!!

Majormoo - oooh I wonder if your LO is ready to come now!!!

HM2J - can't believe it's 2 weeks ago either!! I hope Zack had a better night last night!!

Big waves to everyone.

Happy birthday Ceebee's baby! SO exciting!

MJIM so sorry to hear you ended up in hospital - how scary! Poor little thing.
Sending get-well vibes.

Juanitad I hope everything goes well today. Thinking of you.

HC for you but you are taking action. Totally understand if you are fed up but I think something good will come of this. x

Hannah sorry AF got you - hope you're feeling OK about it & looking forward to a new cycle. Winter is v good for the swimmers!

Majormoo glad to hear you're doing well. I bet your DD would make the most amazingly cute elf. Much more fun than being a boring old snow flake surely?

CE Say it again; you are not fat!
Blooming!! (You and I will be competing with the xmas baubles, hee hee, let's wear the most shiny & colourful things we can find!)

Dawn so happy you are OK. You are doing really well and soon you'll feel your lovely baby move! x

BSL that is really good news - I want to say congratulations! You are being amazing and I'm so impressed with your speed and determination.

Waves to everyone else.

Thanks for nice words but I'm not buying/fingering a bl**dy thing until after the uterine doppler scan on Tuesday.
Although I'm allowed to think of stuff, right?
Like baby monitor, nursing tops & nighties, muslins, little all-in-ones, new mattress for DH's old cot, bedding, etc, etc...
xx

Good luck ceebee.

juanitad-hope something happens soon. Have always been early so don't know what it is like to reach your due date and beyond.

CD 15 here and spotting stopped. FF has now suggested the OV day of CD 8 again which puts me 7 DPO today. Keep going to the toilet to check for any AF signs but nothing so far. Will wait until it is in full flow before I visit the Dr. Maybe I am OVing early now so that is why my AF is now early all of a sudden. Next month will have to start the OPK's on CD 6.

Must do some ironing. Big hello to everyone else.

Oooh, how exciting to think ceebee is having the baby today!! Does anyone know what time she is booked in for the cs?

Still no signs here, so unless somethine happens quick sharp, it doesn't look like my baby will be sharing a birthday with ceebee's, shame! My mw appointment is 11.15 today, so I'm looking forward to finding out how ready she thinks I am.

DH is finishing work for 2 weeks tomorrow, so even if baby is over a week away still, I am glad he will be around whenever it does happen. He works an hour away from home, so if there was any kind of emergency it would take hima while to get here! Also, it will be nice to have company, as I get quite bored on my own at home!!

Will update you all on what mw says later.

Have a nice day everyone.

HumphreysCorner · 19/11/2008 22:00

Oh hannahlouhoo-sorry the witch got you. Remember, the days pass quicker when you gossip on here. Hope next month is a good one for you.

bluestar-that does sound very positive.

My mum immediately said nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo as I expected then asked if I was being pressurised by PIL then started talking about what she was going to do with said potential baby even saying I couldn't have Chloe. Hilarious really under the circumstances. CD 14 and no +ive OPK yet then when I wiped this morning the CM was stained with pink. Then all day when I wipe it is brown, sometimes with bits in it. Thought a 21 day cycle last month was weird but 14 days. If I am in full flow tomorrow I will ring the Dr. If not I will wait a couple of weeks-I need to go as they won't presribe any migraine tablets until I have been reviewed.

Sorry if this is all me, me, me. ceebee-I can't wait for you to have Sam. and juanitad-wouldn't it be nice to have your baby tomorrow too?

Will update on the flow tomorrow.

HC sorry to hear your AF seems to be a bit strange. Hope the doctor is helpful

majormoo · 19/11/2008 20:39

Ceebee good luck tomorrow. Go for saying good bye at the house I reckon.

Mandy glad your midwife appointment went well

BSL great that you have had some positive news. You can have fun trying for a few months knowing that you have the fertility appointment as back up

Juanitad I have started the disgusting raspberry leaf tea too but not sure it has done any good in the past. However my 2nd stages were 12mins with DD and 25 with DS so you never know.

MJIM really hope Naomi improves soon

All fine here-minor drama in that DD has been cast as an Elf in her Christmas play while all her friends are either narrators or snow flakes. She was trying to get me to go in and ask the teacher to change her part!!
I am 37+ 3 now and this baby is now so low down it feels like I am going to wet myself whenever I walk anywhere!

Mandy great news about your baby - get shopping now

BSL great news for you aswell. Am really pleased that you may be able to conceive naturally - let the bonking commence

HC what was your mum's reaction? Are you sure it is definitely AF?? Could it be an implantation bleed? Very weird!

Have asked HM2J to update you from the AN thread with news of babasam's safe arrival if she gets the chance in between looking after her brood

Am now feeling quite calm - not sure how much sleep I will get tonight though

bluestarlavender · 19/11/2008 20:11

Hi guys,

just got back from my bookgroup. We had the doc appointment first. As you all know I was dreading it and also looking forward to moving forward, despite expecting bad results.

Anyhow, the results were actually better than I expected!! Yay! Motility is now in a normal range and we have some normal forms too...although still low levels - 2%. Everything else was fine...i.e. volume and numbers and stuff. I am really pleased, because although it's not great, it's not hopeless and we can potenitally conceive naturally. Anyhow, next steps are I have to have a 21 day progesterone blood test to make sure I am indeed ovulating. (Altho the doc did say that he thought I was, due to my charting! - HC - thanks for all the help and advice here, as it's been in a good cause for next steps) We are also beeing referred to a fertility specialist and we should get to see him in about 3 months time.

I know it sounds crazy but I came away really positive...we might manage it naturally, but if not, help is on the way.

Mandy - great news about the scan!! yay for your little bean...go shopping for pushchairs and finger small clothes now!!

CE - you're not fat!! I agree with HC! You're PG and growing a bean.

Waves to everyone...have to go and have some food now! I am starving!!
Oh and I'm going for the blood test tomorrow, as I'll be 8DPO and the doc said that's fine for the test!

Aww HC - that is so bizarre . I'm so glad you have told you Mum, that is what Mum's are for! I really hope the doctor can shed some light on what's going on for you.

BSL - let us know as soon as you can.

Mandy - how lovely to have a good mw appointment . You must be really happy! I don't have a clue what all the measurements mean either! (I just ask afterwards - Is that normal/good!?) lol!

MJIM - so very glad little Naomi is a bit better today. What a terrible night though! I read it out to DP and he gave me a look as if to say "And we've got all this to come....!" Oh dear..... . Hope you get some well deserved rest tonight.

HM2J - good news that Zack is doing well. How fast has 2 weeks gone! . It doesn't sound like you are getting much sleep either!

Juanitad - still no baby! You poor thing! He/she is bound to come tomorrow to be friends with babasam! Get down to the Indian take away! There is no way you look like you have put on 3 stone! It's all bump so I guess there is hope for me yet!

Dawn - how did you get to almost 12 weeks already!?!?!?!? I think it is quite normal to have a bump by 12 weeks - esp as you say it is hard rather than flabby. I don't think you should be a recluse though! Will you start telling people after the scan then you can go out again! lol! Maybe we should both try not to worry about our weight gain - the others on here seem to think it's quite normal!

ceebee - good luck for baby's birthday tomorrow if you don't get on here in the morning!!!!

I want to say thank you to everyone for all your kind words and advice re: the weight. It really has helped and it means a lot to me. I will keep repeating HC's mantra ....."I am not fat, I am blooming!!!!" lol!

Hi everyone,

Been out all day at a client meeting, and just got home! Off to the docs in a min and then on to my book group...so it will be a while before I can post again.

Hi Hannah!! Yay, more TTCers.

HC - oh no! What's AF doing here already!!! This is weird!

Big waves to everyone. Juanitad and Ceebee - thinking of you guys with babes due to arrive any min!

I'll post later and let you know how we get on!

Bluestar x

DawnAS · 19/11/2008 16:18

Really sorry HC, hopefully the DR can give you some reassurance. . I'm sure your Mum will be supportive too!

Mandy, glad things are all well with you!!

MJIM, thanks for the reassurance. I'm sure some of it is bloating but normally I pick up on that quite quickly, so I'm starting to view bump ONLY first thing in the morning to get a true picture!!
