Bubble - hiya and welcome, well hester's just got PG at 41 (I think she is) has been TTC for 5 yrs granted, (on and off) has had to use a doner thou, so there's always hope, and on this thread u'll find if one is a bit down and giving up hope the other girls (((hugs to you all))) resore the hope and faith again. so never give up on trying.

Well, Bubble, my gran fell pregnant at 47 spontaneously. Her children were all teens and she thought she was undergoing the change of life. And her life certainly changed! Her baby was born healthy and is now a successful surgeon.

I'll be joining you officially in August when I've stopped BF DS3 (who took 11 months to conceive.) I'm 39 in July and TBH I'm worried about dwindling fertlity - lots of scary stats.
I need to hear some positive "My neighbour was 103 and got pregnant whilst sitting on the No.22 bus" type stories. Can anyone help?

Expat - my dr refered me after 6 months, is it worht seeing ur earlier (just for the hormone tests if nothing else to put ur mind at rest), I didn't try temping - could never remeber to take my temprature, besides which I used the thermometer for the dog when she was ill, and i'm damned if it was going anywhere nr my mouth after being in her bum! lol. the OKP's well I could never make out if it was a positive or not, even with the idiot proof ones (never got a def positive till persona and 6 months after stopping the pill) then also had a positive OKp just to confirm it was right. so good luck, I know exactly where ur coming from. (i'm only 23 by the way well 22 when was refered, althou i've had a history of gyno/hormone probs)

Thanks, munnzie! I figured as much. I'm 34, but you can bet I'll be going for a referral as soon as we hit the one year mark (especially w/my 35th birthday just 4 months after that).

I'll just keep using it and hope for the best. Temping doesn't really work for me.

I do agree BTW that £500 is so expensive for 4 people! The wine was the problem really as it was so expensive. We had pretty much the cheapest off the wine list. Do you want to know the worst thing?????????

ES - yes I normally have red days from 6-14/15 ish, it's perfectly normal apparently for persona not to pick up O for the first 3 months, not sure after that stage, october was 5 months ago? nearly 6, so i'd say hold off to another month b4 writing urself off as they say the pill can take up to 6 months (in rear cases a year) to come out of ur system and for it to settle down again. althou don't want to alarm you and cause additional worry - just BD and hope for the best!

I've got a wee Persona question. Will it just show red lights the first cycle you use it for, even if there is no O?? As you all know, I haven't O'd since coming off the Pill in October, 2004; just wondering how long it will take for Persona to recognise this - if it continues that I don't O.

Debbsy - Poor you, you're having a really crappy time aren't you? I wish I could help in some way but just know we are all here for support. TTC is far more stressful than I ever thought it would be.

Well it's now CD46 and I'm bored with keeping count. I've never wanted Af to come as much as I do now!! I'm not really that bothered anymore. Had a chat with God (I'm a Christian BTW!) and I feel better now. It will happen when the time is right.

Had fun last night, DH took me to the hotel where we got married and we had a lovely meal and then drunkenly walked round to all the places we had our photos done and posed again!!! So sad but so funny!! There was a wedding going on there so it was nice to reminisce. Then we came home and had lots of fun!! Thankfully I didn't have a hangover this morning and still made it to church!! The only thing that wasn't so great was that my manager from work happened to be out for her birthday and ended up at the same place as us with a table right beside us! Bumped into her in the toilet and we drunkenly said how we'd eaten and drunk too much, very bizarre seeing her drunk and me being drunk! !!!!! Didn't cost us £500 though hula!!!

Now my head as well and truly gone my mums friend the midwife has spoken to me and because of how late i was and my symptoms and the physical changes she has told me to test again at the end of the week!!!!

I have got the calista saliva ovulation kit and ive done that (after not using it for 2 mths) and that shows im ovulating????? bloody stupid thing.Need to give myself a kick up the ass i think and stop feeling sorry for myself!

Yes like an early mc thats when my afs started going hay wire after that i was always bang on 21 days when on the pill when i came off bang on every 28 days normally round tea time since then ive had 25,23,17,19,29,24,17, and the drs just keep saying they will look at us both after 12mths of trying and i cant fib as they know from when i was ill in hospital.

The hospital said that the egg had fertilised but there was something wrong with it so my body expelled it that was clots too.

Definitely go to GPs debbsey - you need to keep a record of things like this I think. And better to make sure all is order too. I also have no idea what a bio chemical pg is????

yes Jeds is doing very well at lot more positive, they're going to keep trying rather than do IVF, so i'm expecting a BFP from her within the next 6 months. they're on a helathy living thing which has really helped with the spearm mobility etc.. good to hear here happier tbh.

Been sick this morning as well but have taken folic acid on an empty stomach could this be why?

Do you think Munn? mums coming down later today s she is very concerned as i had a stinging pain and stinging in my groin.Feel like i am pestering dr as this hapened in july also and she sent me to the hospital for a blood test and they told me i had had a bio chemical pregnancy but because i had recently been ill in hospital for 4 mths i was very intune with my own body and can pick up on anything that changes with it.

debbsy - I agree with Munnzieb. Good idea to go to the GPs and have yourself checked out.
