Thanks bratnav

yes thats the upside i just wish we could all get our BFPs what a lovely xmas pressie that would be for us all

bratnav · 03/12/2008 16:28

Sorry to hear you are despondent pinkie, I suppose with this there is the up-side that there is always next month.

My AF appears to have stopped after 1 1/2 days WTF???

iloverosycheeks · 03/12/2008 13:45

Hi Pinkie - sorry you are feeling despondent I have no experience of what you are going through as never really 'tried' to have baby before. I am trying now and the thought has been creeping in that might not happen for me this time but hey it is good that we have this thread to keep spirits up and fingers crossed for each other... take care

pinkie08 · 03/12/2008 11:43

Hi Girls

just wanted to say think i am out for August baby as spotting this morning.

My dd is a september baby and at this stage dont mind when we get one just want one so desperately, as am sure everyone else does.

Am feeling really despondent as only got this cycle of clomid pills left and the gynae has to refer me to a fertility specialist which no doubt will take ages and its all so depressing.

He has agreed to do the referral which i guess is good.

Not sure when would be due as not full Af yet

bubblebell1 · 03/12/2008 11:24

hi girls... still no AF for me... god only knows whats wrong with me

still bding and keeping fingers crossed that something happens soon

wouldnt it be lovely if you girls got a BFP xmas morning

iloverosycheeks · 03/12/2008 11:12

I am due AF on the 19th December if 28 days but had 33 day cycle last month so now don't really know when I should expect it. Going to try and to fit in loads of nooksters this weekend as think thats when I will be ov - but DP is out on Saturday night and prob not home till really late, boo. It is such a busy time coming up I hope we are not to knacked for baby-making.
Mind you next ov round about NY and they do say thats why there are so many birthdays in September and October!!
and anyway it would be too hard to excuse not drinking in December, with nights out and office party etc - everyone would know pg straight off and I wouldnt like that - right! ramble over going to go and do some work!

bratnav · 03/12/2008 10:46

And now we have been invited to a wedding on new years weekend, so that will be lovely

Gateau · 03/12/2008 09:18

Same boat as you two, canwait and Ruby.
Will find out on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day too.
At least if we get a big BFN there will lots of festivities around to keep our minds off it and our spirits high. And we can drown our sorrows too! (Don't mean to sound flippant - of course I'll be disappointed)

cantwaitforxmas · 03/12/2008 09:05

Morning Ruby,

my next AF is also due on xmas day - it would be lovely to fall pregnant on holiday and find out on xmas day but if AF arrives I can have a very merry xmas and new year .

Ruby01 · 03/12/2008 08:34

dear bratnav - sorry you are sad but agree atleast you know where you are now, I should be due my next AF on xmas day - that would be a nice day to find out but again cant get too excited about it beforehand.

The only upside for all of us is being able to enjoy all the festivities up to xmas.

bratnav · 02/12/2008 12:20

Definitely, also I have checked and I will not know if we have hit the jackpot until 29th at the earliest, so have decided to eat drink and be merry and sod it!

CD1 now (sorry, just for my own reference!)

Gateau · 02/12/2008 10:44

Hi Raspberry,
I've just seen your post and yes I know who you are. You were very helpful to me on the May thread and I remember when you had your m/c. I was sad for you and I am glad to see you back on here.
I too have had two m/cs since DS (now 19 months old) so we're kind of in the same boat.
Are you TTC now? Which cd date are you on, if that's not too personal a question??! I'm on cd4.
Will be good to keep in touch.

Gateau · 02/12/2008 09:57

Sorry you are sad about that Bratnav, but at least you can now start with a clean slate, if you know what I mean, and as iloveRosy says, you know where you are.
You're a couple of cycle days behind me, so we must keep in touch!

iloverosycheeks · 02/12/2008 09:34

Mornin' all - well I'm sad/glad for everyone who has got their AF - at least you know where you are. We are jst going for it - I will be knicker checking rather than ov testing and all that, will get into doing it 'properly' if nought happens in a few months. Cantwait - I am delighted to hear your DP has come round to your way of thinking!
Good luck everyone! - here's to lots of nooksters (thats what we call it ) over the festive period!

bratnav · 02/12/2008 09:25

AF arrived with a bang this morning but at least I will know where I am with cycles now I suppose, and maybe my norks will go back to their normal size and stop aching as they have done for the last 3 weeks

PurpleCrazyHorse · 01/12/2008 19:29

Hi again, been away for the weekend with DH (and friends) so short on MN access. Feeling the common pangs of AF, but this is good as it signals the start of TTC. Hoping for a BFP before DH leaves for Uganda in Jan

CWFXmas woo hoo... go get him, girl

Big sprinklings of baby dust for everyone.

Gateau · 01/12/2008 15:59

Now that's what I call going at it all guns ablazing, bluebell!
Good luck!

bubblebell1 · 01/12/2008 15:24

gateau i got my hpt and opks from babymad on ebay... cheap too! not started using them tho as i havnt got to cd1

i am using fertility friend to chart my temp and cm and when af arrives i will use the sperm meets egg plan.

Gateau · 01/12/2008 14:29

Good luck Bratnav!
I looked at ov tests at lunchtime; can;t justify spending that money TBH. So we'll just go for it too. Was disappointing getting my AF - it came four weeks after medical management for my missed m/c. But at least we've got a clean slate to start af
gain, I suppose.

bratnav · 01/12/2008 13:42

Thanks rosy, it's what DP called me when we started seeing each other as I hated his tomtom and insisted on giving (good) directions around my hometown.

I am carrying on just 'going for it' gateau, I will test either Friday if AF doesn't arrive, if it does then I think I would find out around new year, which is a bit of a scruple.

Gateau · 01/12/2008 13:19

I got my first AF after my m/c at the weekend. So at least I know my system SEEMS to be back to normal. Have also worked out that I will know if I'm pg or not on Christmas Eve!! If I'm not, it will be awful but at least I'll know if it's sfe for me to have a drink over Christmas and New Year.
Not sure whther to start with OPKs or whether to just start going for it? What are you lot doing?

iloverosycheeks · 01/12/2008 12:57

yes he was okay. cut his head and broke his specs tho, I felt so bad for him - bit of dramatic start to my day !
Keep meaning to say - love the name Bratnav! genius

bratnav · 01/12/2008 12:47

Hi Rosy, oh now awful, was he ok?

True for me too, baby for birthday???? hmm not sure about that

iloverosycheeks · 01/12/2008 10:40

Mornin' Bratnav - sorry your Monday off to bad start. I had to call an ambulance at 8.30 this am for a poor old man who slipped and fell on the ice, he cut his head and was really shaken up - so I was late for work but at least had good excuse
Have worked out if conceive this month EDD would be my birthday in August! so that would be right at the end of the month but as DS was 16 days late would prob still be September! It would be nice to be able to have a drink at Christmas and NY but if it happens before then all the better!

bratnav · 01/12/2008 09:42

Hi all, still trying to work out when AF is due, will test on Friday if no sign. Feel truly lousy with a cold, and have come into work to find my boss has piled a huge amount of rubbish on me, blaming me for a HUGE problem which, having checked, she briefed me incorrectly on

Happy flipping Monday (sorry for rant)
