Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

AF has just turned up, I knew it was coming, I guess but was hoping a little. Oh well... I am dusting myself off and ready to go in to battle again (well, kind of). Bring it on, I am ready for getting the bfp this month!! I have updated the list.

Hi Ladies, do you think it is a good idea to see who will be doing the Deanna plan this month. Statistically 40% of us should get a bfp for every 10 trying.

So please update the below and place DP to state you are going/or are doing the plan. Let's see if we can all get a bfp using this plan.

Smileycat fingers crossed for you ... I had headaches with my first one, therefore it could be a sign.. you haven't long to go before you can test.

Well I used my last pg test yesterday evening as I was bored... and it was negative... what a waste!! but I couldn't stop myself. Feeling that AF will be on its way this morning have the AF usual signs. long deep sighWannabeMum I will be doing the Deanne plan again this month and also the temp charting - do we have an abbreviation for that?

Dustytv goush... sounds that you may be. Admire your patience, I would be testing by now! good luck!!

As I am OV-ing today I've amended my AF due date.

But I'm probably just setting myself up for more of a fall if bfn! and also this morning I on;y had legs in air for 10 mins then had to go out so had to have shower etc so probs washed them all away! Tried not to but obviously had to wash self properly. (tmi?)
I know how you feel as bad mood all last week. Will you have chance tomorrow or day after to bd?

Thanks for answering me. I guess you're right, although not sure how good his swimmers will be. Just have to wait and see i suppose.
Glad you're more positive this month though, always nice to see, keeps me going! Hope you're right and this is your month. We need some more BFP's on this thread. Maybe it's catching!

Hi wanabe - I'm here as working this evening and got mumsnet open too to check every few mins! Sounds rubbish - poor you, but if you did it last night and today is peak then surely you've got a good chance?

Hey everyone,

I feel blue today, please cheer me up!
DH came home yesterday but i was too late getting up to test so i tested this morning and it said "peak" which is bloody marvelous (pickled swimmers remember?!). We have BD'd obviously (missing each other and all that ) but feels like we are definately out this month. And to top it off DH said "doubt we'll catch this month" and has now gone out tonight leaving me home alone AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
Am i being selfish or stupid? I don't understand. He only came home yesterday and granted his mate is going through a rough patch (he didn't go on the stagg do) but God!
So looks like I'll get to try the Deanna plan next month. Anyone joining me?

Sorry for the downer ladies but i've waited 19 days to OV and what a waste. Really hoping someone is online to answer me

Seem to have persuaded dh of the Deanna plan - we did it sat and sun (cd 7 & 8) so one more than necessary, and he has promised to come home from work on Tues before going out to a pre arranged thing so we can fit in a quick one.

smileycat - I agree about migraines. I had one one month a while ago and was convinced it was sperm meeting egg and big release of hormones, as very rarely get migraine. Had lots of other symptoms that month and then not pregnant but I think migraine def a sign body trying to do something.

I feel very happy and joyful about ttc this month and that it'll be my month, I may be mad, but def feel positive.

No AF for me yet (was due 31st Oct), think I am going to wait a few more days before I teat though.

I have been peeing more and feeling slightly queesy occasionaly, but not sure if it is psychosomatic (sp?)

I had to share this with you all .... it made me chuckle, my DH is off to get some bits from the supermarket, so said 'do you want to get a test too ready for monday/tuesday?' he said 'No i'm not buying it early for it to sit in the house burning a hole in your pants' tee hee xx

hey all of you - sorry i have'nt posted -but as i said i won't every day- i lurk but don't post.
i feel like if i post every day i am really trying and i kind of feel like it's another thing to worry about -does that make sense to anyone
well i have got my af date it's due anywhere from 17-21 -sorry i don't know how to cut and paste so if someone could add me to the list i would be grateful.
we are also on deanne plan[twas me who mentioned it on beginning of thread [puts head shyly to one side] and we wer supposed to bd this am [dh at work now til after midnight] and i just could'nt i just feel so down and i dunno why .dh bless him said well i hope you ready for tonight cos i will have a big visitor cos you do realise that today is one of THE days which did make me laugh.
is anyone else using opk stix?
i was soooo bad yesterday i got looking at new prams online -why DO we do this to ourseves i will never know.
anyway i hope you all have a lovely weekend by the way Heeby i hope you get the results you want .

Hi all,

Sorry i didn't get on yesterday, we went to a wedding and have just got back into the land of living (V proud of myself not drinking all night!)

smiley your migrane thing sounds promising, good idea to note things down, i have started doing this recently to see if i can look back for patterns. One thing i noticed about the previous months is that we haven't been BDing enough i'm sure! so lets hope our hard work pays off this month! So will you test Wed?

I think i am going to test on Tuesday with C1NDY my Af has been spot on every month with only one exception when my cyst burst/dispelled so should have spot tomorrow with full on Monday, no signs of her yet and still getting mild cramps, but also feeling windy today and sometimes do when AF is on her way so lets hope it's not that!

No other symptoms really today.

Oh Dr's called and urine sample all normal but they forgot to do the pg test which i'm actually pleased about, i want us to find out ourselves not a dr really.

Have decided that will def do temps and FF charting if not succesful this month. We have a good friends birthday party on Sat so if AF comes i will break my T Total regime for one night! so at least i have something to cheer me up if the worst happens.

morning ladies I trust you all made it throught the night with no spooky halloween mishaps
ok I have a theory to test. Last month I was convinced I was pg, had so many symptoms then the night before my AF I had a wicked migraine, I think I was pg & the headache was the egg trying to implant (massive hormone release) but didn't suceed. Last night my bad headache turned into a migraine & is now just a mild ache this morning. I have been recording my temps all month & this morning it was still up, meaning that AF is not on her way just yet. When I had my ds I suffered really badly with migraines for the 1st 14 wks.
So although I'm not 100% convinced that I am pg this month I have now had 2 migraines in 4wks which in itself is very unusual for me. If I do turn out to be pg this it could be another very usful symptom to look out for

Good luck for Monday heeby & C1ndy my fingers are crossed for you. Weds is my day & failing that Sat if I'm on a 4 wk AF I've had a horrible headache this evening calming down now & am so proud of myself that I didn't take anything for it, I'm hoping its a hormone one as I'm about a week past OV now still got the sore boobs & mild cramps but trying not to read too much into it as Weds seems along way away & I'll just wind myself up if I start sympton spotting now

I'm going to start the Deanna plan on Sun (day 8) - hopefully get buy-in from dh.

this does keep me going too, this thread I mean. My dh good when I burst into tears but doesn't get that it's impossible to think about it every minute.

Good news on your OV front Wanabemum. Your DH will have a wonderful welcome home

EPO stands for evening primrose oil. "It can help improve the quality of CM - or make the CM more fertile. However you are advised to only take it for the first half of your cycle up until you OV each month as EPO may cause uterine contractions. The dosage taken should be 1500mg to 3000mg per day."

Oh before I go... I have been drinking Rooibos tea.. tetley make a version under the name Redbush... it is totally caffeine free and it replaced my Tea and Coffee nicely!! If anyone is thinking of reducing there caffeine in take then please try this, its wonderful.

Hello everyone!!

Just popping in quickly. Been so busy at work haven't had time to come in.

AF on Monday, have been feeling really tired.. but it may be the weather. My AF is usually like clockwork, so if it doesn't turn up by Tuesday I will be doing a test in the early morning!!

Heeby we don't have too much time left now to wait. Good luck and to everyone else.... baby dust all around ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think the Deanne plan keeps your focus and don't you just love a 'plan'

I love this thread - it's brill. Keeps me going! This time next week I'm sure I'll start the "am I" / "aren't I" game but for now it's at the back of my mind.
For what it's worth on the age debate: I wouldn't concern yourself. I'm 28 and have been trying actively for 7 months. My mum and my sister both had babies at 45! it's just an individual thing. People struggle at every age. Have a fab weekend everyone!
