Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

yellow do it! be brave, i felt like that (in fact we both did) on occasion and yet kept it up (scuse the pun!) and hey presto looks like it paid off ..... so it has to be worth it!

spats i had tingling boobs and still have, could be a sign, i wouldn't tell anyone, except you guys, any symptoms as in RL it felt like i might jinx it too.

(((hugs to all)))

Pezzina · 04/11/2008 20:29

Good evening all,

I'm really pooped this evening too - thankfully BD'ed this morning so can collapse tonight without feeling bad. phew!

Hope everyone who has had a bad day feels better tomorrow.

whitebeaches Can really understand where you are coming from my ds started nursery in September 2.5 hours each morning, I don't know where the time has gone ha has grown so quick. It was half term last week and a training day yesterday so he started back this morning and I didn't know what to do with myself til he got home. Also thought I had gone deaf (lol)

Pinkie bless your dd waiting for bro/sis, it is amazing how much they pick up on things. We were sat in Mcdonalds last week when ds asked very loudly if I had a baby in my tummy yet, it was all I could do not to burst into tears.

spats · 04/11/2008 14:53

Thats whats good about mumsnet, if you are feeling ok you can cheer up the people who are down in the dumps and then next time it will probably be you needing virtual hugs and words of wisdom

Pinkie {{{{{{x x }}}}}}
have a lovely afternoon with your daughter [smile

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 04/11/2008 14:40

elliegant i know it's kind of like cos you have given birth that it will have miraculously have made you'ok' ifyswim
i dunno i have to make a very conscious effort to not get too down by it all cos as i said i just count my stars every time i see my lo.
he did his first day at pre-school yesterday and starts 'properly' tomorrow i will miss him and he will only be gon for 2.5 hrs twice a week.
he just seems to have grown so quickly.

pinkie08 · 04/11/2008 14:39

Thank you all so much your support and encouraging words have made me cry.

I think its exactly what i needed I know what you mean whitebeaches i had 3 miscarriages before i had my dd and we do everything together. She was my life line when i got divorced cos she was so young (6months) i knew that i couldnt crumble as she needed me and that kept me going. I am sure that when she comes home from school and i get some mummy hugs all will be fine. You def. learn to appreciate it when it is sooo hard to get, nothing taken for granted.

One of my closest friends gets pg straight away, smokes and drinks through them and has big bouncy boys. I guess its just the way the dice falls. The only difference is that she takes it all for granted and i really dont.

Big hugs back to you all and thank you all so much you are like a life line.

Elliegant · 04/11/2008 14:33

Pinkie sending you big big hugs, sounds like you having very down day.

I know exactly what you mean beaches, I too seek solace in my ds who is 3. We ttc for 2 years and had pretty much given up, had received our first information pack from a local fertility clinic and was about to make our appointment when I found out I was pregnant, so feel blessed that I have ds. Was hoping it would be easier this time (how daft can you be!).

VillageMum · 04/11/2008 14:26

Pinkie, great that you're getting scans done; they'll set your mind at rest. Remember that even with frequent BDing and everything else being done right, pg doesn't always result - but your chances ARE excellent if you just carry on maximising the opportunities and getting the info you need. Statistically, your time is bound to come! ((Big hugs))

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 04/11/2008 14:15

ahhh pinkie just take this as a really crappy day.[by the way you can bury your head in my sand anytime- the reason i chose my username was so every time i saw it that is waht i would think of]
you know when i have days like this i just do something extra special with my lo [3] today we made cakes and made sparkly stars.it does'nt take away all the pain but it does remind you that we are lucky to have what we've got.
keep the wine in the fridge and just plan all the good things about moving home etc.
it is all very hard and i know it is said to us all the time. but many years ago i went thru ivf 6 times and i learnt then that what will be will be and learnt to take each day as another step to being whatever is meant to be.
by the way my lo was conceived naturally and also in the midst of moving house changing job and a champagne fuelled weekend.
listen i don't want to sound patronising i really don't cos i know exactl how deep in despair you feel right now but i am just trying to let you know that there is an end to the despair whether we acheive prgnancies or not.

pinkie08 · 04/11/2008 14:13

villagemum thanks ((hugging)) you back.

I have left a message for consultant to ask about follicle tracking and uterus lining thickness they do this with scans half way through cycle as clomid can cause lining to go thin so even if you fertilise egg wont necessarily implant.

i just think am bit confused we did everything right and still bet no where dont normally get down from it guess its just caught up with me, sorry everyone.

Am sure will be back to cheerful self tomorrow.

Thank you everyone fir being so supportive.

VillageMum · 04/11/2008 14:08

Heeby, crossed posts, congrats again! Yes, it's a totally different pg to the last one, so stay positive: all will be fine!

VillageMum · 04/11/2008 14:04

pinkie, here's a ((hug)) for you, sorry to hear you're feeling down...

I think Heeby has been my lucky mascot already; yesterday I was stressing about not ovulating yet and today I've had a positive OPK - phew. The relief is incredible. Cindy and Wanabe and all you other ladies, thanks for the tlc. We're still waiting this month out to recover properly from my mc but at least now I know that my cycles are more or less back to normal, not wildly out as I'd feared!

Hi ladies,

i have had boss here all morning so wasn't able to come on till now!

Thank you so much for all your congrats, i was so touched reading it, i have been grinning and welling up at all the kind words, this is such a lovely thread and i really feel like i've just told my 12 (or so)new friends! in fact some of you are old friends now it's taken so long!

So how do i feel.

Elated / scared / worried / speechless / over the moon all of the above.

We have decided not to tell RL until Christmas just in case, i should be around 11-12 weeks then. i am obviously worried about mc like last time but will take each day as it comes and try to practise what i've been preaching to the other ladies here about this pg is different to the last etc etc

As for symptoms, i had sore (.)(.) as normal for the first 2 weeks then peaked during OV then went away only to come back a few days ago, i thought it could be AF but guess not.

Feel bloated and have had nasty cold but nothing unusual there.

The only weird thing was i had sensitive teeth (!) right from after i ov'd. Also more CM for the last 2 weeks, don't normally have any but it kept on going.

Really i have felt less symptomy than other months, which led me to believe something was a foot, i am off my food a bit but no sickness yet.

I have to say i did kind of know this month, i managed to see EWCM which i totally 100% put down to no alcohol and less caffiene, and with all the BDing i was determined.

PussinJimmyWhoooos · 04/11/2008 13:59

Hi all

Am on CD 26 of a 29 or 30 day cycle (AF arrived on CD29 last two months). EWCM on CD15 and due to Dh being away, BD'd on CD16 within 24hrs of EWCM and after that...

Had no symptoms with DS, except implantation bleeding on day AF was due. However, the last few days I've been absolutely knackered - a tiredness I've never known before. Now, whether this is purely psychological as I've read this as a pg symptom, the change in clocks or??

Have no other symptoms but I swear I've just seen the tiniest tiniest amount of brown colour when wiping...not there after that...so, either AF starting - am crampy and bloated or??

I've never started on CD26 before though - always been CD28 and the last two cycles, CD29...

What do you think? No tests in the house as I am refusing to test until AF due as too many BFNs in the last months I get pissed off with it!

pinkie08 · 04/11/2008 13:59

whitebeaches

I think that i might give up we are meant to be moving next month and i dont think my emotions can take it.

I just want to cry or bury my head in the sand (sorry pardon the pun to your name) not intentional

My DH doesnt get the same sense of failure and i have to be brave for my dd who is soooo deperate for a little sis/bro that she asks me every few days if the red stuff has arrived mummy. can you believe she is only 8 but she knows that no red = baby. unbelievable i dont think i knew at that age.

Am going to put wine in fridge for the arrival of AF. even if its not today am sure will be by weekend and i always allow myself CD1 to have a drink, before i start the clomid on CD2 dont know if can face it again

HELPPPPP

Pezzina · 04/11/2008 13:57

Hi whitebeaches re: BDing - I think you will have nothing to lose and so much to gain by BDing tonight

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 04/11/2008 13:52

sorry and wannabe x

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 04/11/2008 13:50

hey i know pinks i stupidly told a couple of my freind and for their second children both of them conceived on 1st month of trying and are kind of stunned cos i did'nt 'catch' last month.
there is an awful lot of pressure we put on ourselves i think let alone other people.
i also think that cos we hear of stories like that it can kind of make you feel like you are a failuer which definately we are not they wer just vey very lucky imho.
well i dunno if i still have a chance this month i have put up a thread but as yet noone has answered me. i had a positive opk on sundya but only bd that night never did yesterday and if we do tonight its gonna be after midnight=is it worth it or will the blardy egg be dead and gone by then.

ah pinks i think maybe you and i had better go and hide for the rest of the day
wll i probably will anyway i hope all the rest of you are feeling more positive=maybe our mascot heeby can blow some of her baby dust and luck this way

pinkie08 · 04/11/2008 13:46

Hi wannabe

our posts crossed. my dh is exactly the same.

and i find that those closest to us like parents and parents in law are so intense that i dont feel they give me space to breathe. my mums regular question is "when are you due" i know she means no harm but didnt i tell her yesterday and the day before and before that etc etc.

whereas everyone on here just holds your hand thru 2ww and then gives you the support you need when AF shows up.

For that i am grateful to you all

pinkie08 · 04/11/2008 13:38

hi whitebeaches

thats exactly how i feel.

i think that we put so much of ourselves into ttc that we then start to tell ourselves its not going to happen to lessen the blow and of course there is the other side of the brain that says but maybe it is possible for it to be my turn. it does only take one swimmer.

anyway thats what happens to me. i also know deep down its not implantation because i always think it might be and it never is. why cant we all just be one of those girls that bds once and gets pg.

WanabeMum · 04/11/2008 13:36

Hey pinkie im sorry to hear you are feeling down but know how you feel! I've been there (as i think most of us have been) and i know it's horrible. Don't give up on this month just yet because not everyone gets symptoms and each pg is different so maybe this time you wont feel pg?

Yes i totally agree that after 4 months we should be guaranteed pg according to those odds!!

I've had a total downer today too and i'm only 1 DPO but im convinced im out for this month so have another 2 weeks and my period to wait out until i get another go. Oh well, keep smiling.
I'm finding the whole secrecy thing very difficult too as im one of those who needs moral support. But DH doesn't want anyone else to know and i don't want the added pressure of people waiting for my AF to arrive. Me and DH waiting is enough!!

Wow we are all having a good old moan today,

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 04/11/2008 13:29

hey pinkie i know waht you mean about being despondent.
as you will see fom another thread we missed bd yesterday and are supposed to be foollowing deanna plan but just sometimes life does get in the way.
it's mad cos today i feel so bad that we haven't bd and am kind of sying to myself well it's your own fault that you are not pregnant this month cos you have not exactly put in the effort [and the month is'nt even over]
but i do find that you judge yourself and your husband for every liitle thing wwhen trying ttc.
tis awful.
