Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

Oh & my temp dropped another 0.1 this morn, its not quite at coverline yet but nearly there I guess tomorrow morning will be the day. If it drops another 0.1 it will be below coverline & AF should be here, if it rises again well watch this space...but not holding my breath as AF will be due if on a 28 day cycle

smileycat · 07/11/2008 09:59

no sign of the witch yet heeby still getting lots of white creamy CM if you don't mind me asking heeby of a matter of interest seeing as you are prego do you still have CM & is it creamy?

wasabipeanut · 07/11/2008 09:21

smiley I hope this is implantation bleeding. When I wax pregnant (unknowingly) with ds I had a bleed the day before I was due which I just assumed was normal period a bit early for no reason. I put a tampon in but it came out clean which obviously I thought was odd but didn't give it much thought. Started again 48 hours later which I obv thought, oh right its starting properly now but exactly the same thing happenned. I tested the next day just to rule it out and what do you know?

The moral of the story is - its not over until AF properly arrives!

Heebychick · 07/11/2008 08:23

Any news smiley? C1NDY your dp makes sense i think, how i worked it out was took my normal length and worked back 14 days, so i guess you could work out your average length and then follow the plan but maybe a day or so earlier and then maybe extend the 3 days to 4 or 5? we extended it to 4 as i was having CM on that extra day as well.

C1NDY · 06/11/2008 20:38

My take on DP is that no matter what your cycle length is you should still do it according to the plan as sometimes you ovualate early and therefore conception is more likely to happen if you have had bding before ovulation.

Smileycat it may be implantation bleeding, so you never know.

I am so out of touch with all the comments below, promise to be better next week. Had a wonderful day today, went bowling and ice skating with the little one! am exhausted though and had a large glass of wine... which was naughty... but it was ever so nice!

Speak to you all soon

Heeby take it easy sweety

smileycat · 06/11/2008 20:15

Thank you everyone for the good wishes. I had a tiny bit of red this morning when I wiped & thought that AF was on its way today as had lots of period pain yesterday & have still had them today although not as strong, but as yet it still hasn't come. On one hand its a good thing as I could still be pg, but on the other I wish it would hurry up & arrive so that I can get on with next month I don't usually have period pains without the period so am really confused this month. I'll give it another couple of days & then retest if nothing has happened, that way I know I am def late as it will be over 28 & I have never been over 28 days

VillageMum · 06/11/2008 16:48

Thanks Yellow and Pezzina, the early ov thing did cross my mind as well - sod's law is that next cycle will probably be the one in which I ov early - think I may start on cd 8 too and just follow the DP to be sure (well, why not? )

Pezzina · 06/11/2008 15:58

I'm the same as you yellow. My usual cycle can be 31 - 33 days long and usually ov on day 18 so probably didn't need to start BDing until day 12 but started BDing on day 8 as suggested on the Deanna Plan just in case I ov'd early. Means probably lots of BDing but hey-ho

yellowflowers · 06/11/2008 15:44

Hi village - we started day 8 because I am worried that what if not conceiving because ovulating earlier than i thought with long lp instead, and therefore missing it every month as we save ourselves for the bd marathon over ovulation. so have actually so far done cd 7 (bonus!), cd 8, cd 10 and hopefully tonight which is cd 12, though really not expecting to ovulate until cd 16.

OP posts:
VillageMum · 06/11/2008 15:21

Hi yellow, my cycle also used to be 30 days, since mc seems to have become 32 (ov on cd19), so I've been wondering when to start the alternate days BDing on the Deanna Plan next month - thought around cd 12 instead of 8? Is that more or less what you've done?
Phew, I'm so glad this ov is over and now the countdown to AF is on - and then we can START!! Though all that BDing may not be so much fun when it becomes a reality .

yellowflowers · 06/11/2008 14:53

Thanks village - and all back to normal now. How you today? I'm opking but don't expect positive until Monday really as usual cycle is 30 days, though started deanna plan early. Truth is we bd at weekends anyway, it's doing it in week that is hard.

Heeby thanks, I'll go to the scan of course (by then another killer egg will be ripening, ho ho) but I'm mightily relieved that everything feels right back to normal again today (and suspect it really was just ov pain, weird as it was!)

yellow, hi! Lack of sleep can certainly make your temps go funny (sometimes mine rise and sometimes fall). Guess you're OPKing now? Good luck!

yellowflowers · 06/11/2008 14:24

thanks heeby - I am right thinking lack of sleep could make temp rise aren't I?

Heebychick · 06/11/2008 14:13

yellow hi and good luck for the BD fest!i have all fingers crossed for you x

yellowflowers · 06/11/2008 13:16

Hello everyone - just wanted to pop in and say hi and see how you all are today? cd 12 today so have to do it again this evening. Temp rose yesterday but had been up all night to watch election so was knackered - today back to expected level.

Heebychick · 06/11/2008 12:02

village no my pain stayed and got worse sometimes when i needed a pee but actually stayed all the time, so sounds like it's not that, but of course don't take me word for it and see what the scan says. xx

Pezzina · 06/11/2008 10:46

Hi Heeby ? glad to hear from you and that all is well

Sorry to hear about your BFN smileycat but good that you?ve decided to follow the DP plan. I really do think its given me focus since having started it this month. Its made me feel more relaxed and in control and more positive about things.

Hey wasabi my fingers are crossed that your stabby pains in lower abdomen mean that a little is bean borrowing in ? the timing would be about right, wouldn?it it?

I?m still BDing away like mad ? waiting for ov ? it?s a tough life

VillageMum · 06/11/2008 10:18

Heeby, thanks for sharing; I was beginning to worry that the cause might be a cyst or something odd, but then the pains just began to go yesterday afternoon - and here I sit, without even a prickle. Did your cyst pains go on, or did they taper off, BTW? Trying to self diagnose here... I'm actually due to have a scan on the 27th (as follow up from mc) so hope that anything weird will be picked up then. No, we didn't BD as still waiting for next cycle, and I have to say that I'm rather glad since this ov felt so violent!

Wasabi, thanks - your symptoms sound promising! I'm now a firm believer in twinges = action in the works!

smiley, sorry about the -ve, but not conclusive yet? You sound positive and determined to make it happen - hang in there...

wasabipeanut · 06/11/2008 10:06

Oh smiley I'm sorry to hear that. Treat yourself to some nice goodies today!

*Village" also glad your pains are subsiding. Hopefully any future cycles will be less painful.

Well I am starting to imagine symptoms. I felt a bit queasy when I got up this morning and just sitting here now had another little wave of dizziness and feeling a little queasy. Also having a lot of short sharp stabby pains in lower abdomen on both sides.

I also know I could be imagining all of this. Oh well - just another week and a galf to wait before I can test. It will be a long, long week.

pinkie08 · 06/11/2008 09:49

Hi smiley

Sorry to hear about bfn ((hugs)). I seem to have done the same, preparing myself for next month.

Have started the grapefruit juice drinking and getting ready for the DP plan.

DH is ok with it, i think he thinks that the faster we get pg the faster his wife returns from "clomid wife" to "normal" and the DP does seem to make sense to him.

Elliegant · 06/11/2008 09:33

Hi smiley sorry about bfn sending big hug, stay positive.

Heebychick · 06/11/2008 09:28

smiley sorry to hear about bfn, like you say don't give up hope, but you exactly the right attitude, plan for next month and keep as positive as you can honey (((hugs)))

village i'm glad the pains have subsided, i didn't post before but i was going to say i had strong pains on my next ov after mc and it turned out to be a cyst, so was hoping that wasn't the case for you, sounds like it's just your system getting back to normal then! did you Bd at all or still waiting for next month?

smileycat · 06/11/2008 06:57

I took the cheapy test this morning but bfn. I guess I'm on a 28 day period this month. Since I had my cyst, tube & ovary removed I've been anything from 21 days to 28 days, but the last couple of months have been around 25. My temp dropped another 0.1 this morning heading on a slow downward slop so I'm not holding my breath for a great outcome. I showed my DH the DP plan & he is happy to give it a go next month. I know its not quite over for this month yet but after this morning its easier for me to think that I'm not & start planning next month. I just hate the waiting game

VillageMum · 05/11/2008 22:08

Thanks Elliegant, Wasabi, Pezzina for the feedback about ov pains - I swear that I must finally have ov'd at 4pm this afternoon because they reached a sort of peak of agony then and have gradually tailed off since! Wasabi, I think you must be right and that this time it's twinging more as the works are starting up again... phew.

Heebychick · 05/11/2008 21:59

Hi ladies,

It has taken me ages to catch up on all the posts! So glad most of you are feeling a little more positive!

yellow that made me chuckle too, my DH was the same 'what?!! tonight ! again, you have to be kidding?!!' but keep at it honey!

I love the DP!!

smiley sending you tons of baby vibes and luck for tomorrow, will log on asap when i get to work and check, i really hope you can join me, i feel lonely!

By the way i only ever had the from concentrate stuff of GFJ and it worked but i totally out it also down to the fact that ui drank more water etc and cut out alcohol.

As for me, i feel ok, trying not to think about it too much and get through the first few weeks safely, it's actually easy not telling people as i don't want to jinx it.
