Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

smileycat · 10/11/2008 16:00

just thought I would check in as its been a busy thread today. I'm now on CD4, hasn't that gone quickly already, DH is away tonight & AF should be over tomorrow so will be getting a little pratice in early for the DP plan starting tomorrow evening, then it all starts for real on Fri for CD8. I can feel the buzz already for this month, everyone seems geared up for it lets hope we get lots & lots of BFP's for early December

Pezzina · 10/11/2008 15:10

I paid for another couple of months - you can transfer your membership over to the Pregnancy Tracker' site if you get a BFP before the membership runs out - so it won't be wasted.

C1NDY · 10/11/2008 14:44

VillageMum Goush the two week wait is hard, but I had a few glasses of red wine to make the hours tick by faster. My time has now arrived... so now its up to me to do what I can with the time given to me to get a bfp. I am glad that I may be ovulating on Sunday as I can then bd three or four times (am I getting too descriptive here!! sorry hehee). Just think when you are trying I will be doing the two week wait!! but I will keep you company. Really am happy that you are soooooooooooooo positive... it really does have an effect on what is going on in the inside, so well done for picking youself up and getting on with it [hugs]

Now another question for you nice ladies out there... the FF says my membership will be up... what should I do pay for another couple of months? what have you all done?

Elliegant · 10/11/2008 14:38

Hi pinkie, the rota is just to remind me when cd8 is and what were supposed to be doing when, also for dh so he is prepared

VillageMum · 10/11/2008 14:30

Cindy, thanks! I can't wait either - just a week to go till AF. I have to say one thing the enforced wait has done has been to remove any last niggles I had about ttc again - I'm now totally ready!! In fact, just let anyone try and stop me!

Good luck with the DP! I will be with you in about two weeks...

C1NDY · 10/11/2008 13:26

Am on CD8 and tested my CM and it was a egg yolk consistancy and it was stretchy which means I am now fertile?? We are going to bd tonight so hopeful all will be okay. Pinkie a bit like you my FF says that Thursday and Fri, Sat is my most fertile time and Sun will be ovulation. I am confused now as CM is saying I am fertile now... hummmm.

Heeby I know what you mean... doctors are not that nice when you tell them your pg. Yes, keep it to yourself and tell them after week eight - it will come around before you know it.

Pezzina · 10/11/2008 13:22

Thanks heeby I know it will be worth it and big ((hugs)) for feeling sicky - but it must also make you feel its all the more real, if you know what I mean.

In a weird kind of way, I'm actually looking forward to the morning sickness because it will mean we've succeeded - although I'm sure the novelty of feeling sick each day soon wears off

Heebychick · 10/11/2008 13:18

Hi all,

What a horrid yukky day (if you live in the South that is!)

Glad to hear the BD fest's are well under way, i shall be checking in on you all for those symptom spotters!

pezzina it will be worth it honey, look at me!

I am feeling great, but sicky this morning but was ok once i got up and showered. Have decided to wait until i'm further along before telling dr, don't want to say it outloud at the moment!

Pezzina · 10/11/2008 13:08

Pinkie - I had the same problem with FF showing Fertile days different to DP.

FF showed that I was fertile the Friday/Sat/Sun just gone and that I will OV today. However, all OPK's have so far been negative - so probably will OV in next few days but not yet. Sooooo - we BD'ed each day over the weekend, but will probably stick to every other day until my OPK comes up positive then back to every day as DP suggests. Which means a lot of BDing - I sooo hope its worth it!

pinkie08 · 10/11/2008 12:52

Hi Elliegant

Well we actually started last night . Fortunately the clomid causes AF to be short and hardly any. so was able to get an early start this month. will just go with spontaneous until CD8 (saturday).

I was slightly confused as fertility friend says fertile on days that wont necessarily work with DP so not sure what to do about that. ??

Whats the rota about with the DP

Elliegant · 10/11/2008 12:43

Hi ladies,

Hope you all had a good weekend.

C1ndy welcome on board with the Deanna Plan. we are going to schedule,I too have a rota so your not on your own there .

pinkie can't wait for you to join us, when do you start?.

pezzina reflexology sounds great, enjoy

heeby hows it going honey?

Pezzina · 10/11/2008 11:42

Thanks for the info Pinkie - I've always wanted to give reflexology a try and now seems like a great time to do it. I'm looking forward to it.

pinkie08 · 10/11/2008 11:36

Hi Pezzina

I absolutely love reflexology. You can feel
all sorts of things going on.

I had it when pg with dd and i had a really easy time and labour

XX

Pezzina · 10/11/2008 11:09

Morning all,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Managed to get in some BDing over the weekend ? was expecting to have OV?d today but my temperature had actually gone down this morning ? so not sure exactly what is going on there. Will have to jump on my DH this evening again I suppose!

Spats ? my fingers are crossed for you. Don?t stress about a short LP ? as VillageMum says ? your LP usually stays the same length ? its only the first part of the cycle that can change. I think you?re right to wait till next Friday/Sat to test. Just a few more days ? but I know it will feel like a life time!

Sans04 ? welcome to this lovely thread. Lots of great support and information is received from everyone ? its so wonderful knowing you?re not alone in TTC

How?s everyone else doing today? Anyone planning on testing this week?

I?m going to start having reflexology ? my first appointment is tonight. I?ve heard it can work wonders on regulating your cycles and as mine are far from being regular I thought I?d give it a go. Anyone else tried reflexology?

pinkie08 · 10/11/2008 10:43

Thanks village and smiley and hello heeby. Dh has agreed a morning shag tomorrow would be an excellent idea in that it will a) shut me up and b) excuse him from having to do it on Monday night when he gets home from his evening class knackered. Phew!

Hi yellow I've just looked at last months temping chart & my temp went up & down twice then on the 3rd time it slowly went up & stayed up for 11 days then fell slowly until AF arrived, once it stays up for a couple of days FF marks it on your chart that you have OV'd & gives you your coverline, your coverline is what it thinks you should be when your AF arrives, some girls get a very big temp rise after OV, mine was steady.
Sans FF says that if your temp stays up for more than 18 days you are pg, but you will probably have already done a test by then, what it will tell you is if your AF is on her way ie temp falling, but again there are still the odd exceptions if you look at other charts when their temps fell below their coverlines then when right back up the next day & they were pg.
I now have last months chart to refer to for this comming month, every woman is different I think you will need a couple of months charts then you will be able to predict your most fertile days & when AF should be due according to your temps from the old charts.
I'm going to use OV sticks as well as temping & the DP plan this month, covering every angle to try & catch that little egg before it dies on me. My DH wants to start again already & I'm only CD3

VillageMum · 09/11/2008 16:07

Yellow, if you have a 30 day cycle and are on cd15 you'll probably ov in the next two days or so, I'd guess. There can be a drop in temp before ovulation. Once your temps go up and stay up (the staying up bit is important - you'll see a clear shift to higher temps over a number of days) you'll know that ov happened the day before the rise. BDing any time from now would be ideal! Good luck, fingers crossed!

Heebychick · 09/11/2008 14:17

Hi all,

Sorry for the radio silence, have had a busy weekend and have a friend over to stay so haven't been online.

Sorry about the AF's ladies, lets hope she is getting it all out of the way now ready for lots of Crimbo babies!!

sans welcome, this thread is wonderful, i have had loads of support and i really hope you find the answers you need.

whitebeaches great news about your weight loss, perfect for starting a pg with! well done.

smiley sounds like your dh is really into the ttc plans which is great, and enjoy your wine and hot baths .... it won't be long for you now i'm sure!

As for me - not that i'm sure you really want to know that much but am ok, feeling a little bit sicky when i'm hungry and getting tired by about 9pm but apart from that i'm ok. I took another test (just to be sure!) and was so pleased to see the line come up immedietely.

Lots of baby dust to you all, good luck xxx

yellowflowers · 09/11/2008 13:41

So we didn't manage day 14 on Deanna plan but did the deed this morning so day 15. But I usually have 30 day cycle ovulating around day 16 so that's okay. Am doing ebay cheapie opk sticks but showing nothing so far - do a few each day and not even showing a faint line early morning so guess I'll disregard them.

So my question - and be gentle as first month temping - is my temp dropped today quite a lot - do that mean I am about to ovulate. Dropped about 8am, did the bd deed about 10am. Do we have to do it again (when? tonight or tomorrow morning?) to make sure of getting it? Is temp drop good sign of impending ovulation. And if it's gone up a lot tomorrow morning does that make it too late?

HI to all

Thank you very much Smileycat I really apretiate that, that was really helpfull for me. For this cycle I already test Ov and I had a positive (Two lines) only in cd9 so I don't know rally if that was right because I think it was early. Any way now I wanted to ask you if I start temmping now it will help me with that if I concived or no? again thank you for helping me here now I feel very comfortable, and seems to be more positive, and thank everyone elss on this thread. fingers crossed for all of us
by the way I loged in to that Fertility Friend web that was so helpfull, thank you now I understand what's going on.

VillageMum · 09/11/2008 11:49

spats, you will be OK - if you ovulated late your AF will come later too, I'd guess, as the lp is pretty fixed - if you've never had a short lp before there's no reason why you should develop one now, so don't worry! (But I totally know how stressful it can be when something's suddenly a bit different one month... drives me crazy.)

Cindy, will definitely let you know if I get those ov pains again. I'm thinking they must have been due to my mc and really hope they're not as extreme next cycle!

Well, just over a week to go now till AF and then we can start ttc. Can't quite believe the moment is nearly here!
