Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

well done Pezz, we too have been BDing like mad since last Thursday, giving it our best shot so to speak Keep up the good work

Pezzina · 13/11/2008 16:59

Hi everyone - its been busy on here today. Have just caught up.

My temp shot up today, and with a positive OPK two days ago looks like I OV'd yesterday. I'm glad to say my DH and I have managed to BD 6 days in a row. My DH's face fell when I told him I thought we'd probably done enough - so will jump on him tomorrow morning as a bonus surprise .

Elliegant · 13/11/2008 16:51

Hi all,

First chance I have had to catch up for a few days.

Jools I don't have any words of wisdom just wanted to say how deeply sorry I am and voice my support (((Hugs)))

Heebychick · 13/11/2008 16:06

um .... i had a lot of creamy CM too.

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 14:56

Thanks Heeby,
I've noticed I've been having quite a lot of creamy CM this last few days too and feeling a little queezy at the mo but could always be my imagination. Not getting my hopes up though.

Heebychick · 13/11/2008 14:30

Hi ladies,

wanabe if it helps (and it won't help you to keep clear of symptom spotting) i had a very tiny yellow/creamy colour spot around 10DPO and then i started having mild cramps until this day. Fingers crossed!

becky well done for those words, really comforting. As for the frequency, well done! that's a bit more than me!

As for us, we BD'd on CD8 then CD10 - CD14 every night and yes it did get a bit of a chore in the end which was awful! and me too with the legs in the air thing, position is important too (see previous post) no going on top for us!

We too have decided to wait until we have a scan to have sex, i read on the deanna plan website it should be avoided in you MC in first trimester so we have agreed we will do all we can.

I feel exhausted today, work is so busy for me and i have been feeling sick on and off too, not going to tell them tho until i've had a scan.

smiley how are you doing honey?

jools have posted on other thread, you have a lot of love and support coming your way xxxxx

Jools1 · 13/11/2008 14:09

Thankyou for those words Becky - made me cry but in a good way As you can see, I am still lurking, (whilst eating choc and curled up on the sofa with 2 cats and a DVD)

Things are better today - scan at EPU confirms it is almost over, hospital preg test confirms HCG levels very low, and the pain, dizziness and blood loss is beginning to subside, so I can start to move forward.

As for BD'ing - I am lucky enough to feel when I ovulate and only BD'ed 3 times in my BFP month - a week before OV, 5 days before OV and the day of OV. I might consider the Deanna Plan next year, but am not sure that DP would be up for it !

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 13:39

Hey Becky what lovely words for Jools!!

Plus you seemed to have done everything right and they say that stress plays a massive part in conception, so maybe relaxing about it all did help you?! I'm hoping that it'll be my turn soon too, but like you say, it wont neccessarily be a bad thing as there is quite a lot going on over Xmas so will be otherwise occupied anyway. If we try next month and succeed we will find out 3 days prior to Xmas, what a lovely presant that would be! Fingers crossed for all of us who are still trying, and congrats for you xx

BeckyMcG · 13/11/2008 13:33

WRT me here?s what I did:
I went with frequency. I BD?d every day starting 1-2 days before my guessed ovulation and carried on for 6 days. In know what you mean though?? ? on the 5th and 6th day it was a bit of an effort ? which is an unusal feeling as I have always really enjoyed frequent sex ? but I think the dutiful aspect is tough!. I also usedOPKs to try and pinpoint ovulation. I also kept my bottom and legs against the wall for 20 mins afterwards (TMI?). I asked DH to lie with me and talk during this time so we felt closer and ?in it together? ? he even put his legs up with me one night!

However after saying this ? I?ve been doing these things for months!! I must admit I didn?t eat or drink anything different although maybe cut back on alcohol slightly. I was planning to give up in the new year to help my chances.
I did relax a little more this month. I am going to New York on a shopping trip with some friends at beginning of December and was thinking it might be nice to be able to drink cocktails there. I was also thinking of all the Xmas parties and that it might not be a bad thing if I didn?t fall pregnant until the new year. I don?t know whether genuinely relaxing helped as a few months ago I felt much more frantic.

Now I?ve decided ? no sex till I?ve had my 8 week scan, (DH agrees after last MC). Also have decided no alcohol and only one coffee a day and am taking my folic acid regularly and am sticking to warm rather than hot baths. I?m also only going to do gentle exercise; I can worry about weight gain once I know bean is safe.

BeckyMcG · 13/11/2008 13:20

Jools - I am so, so sorry. I remember you well from the first thread and how happy you were (and we all were for you). I?m saddened and a bit shocked by this and the fact that your 12 week scan date turned into such an unhappy day. I?m thinking of you. Let your heart and body recover ? and don?t rush it. Sooner or later though remember things will all go well for you and you?ll be holding your baby with all this far behind you. I know though now that?s likely to be of a little comfort as I know you wanted this one.

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 13:12

Sorry that was meant to say dissapointment

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 13:12

Thanks ladies! i feel that im grounded again now (well sort of!).
Yellow you're right to be an optimist, it's better than the other option. Although i find myself, like smiley & wasabi, quietly optimistic every month only for another dissapinotment. It's just the way im trying to deal with it this month i guess. i'll be back to my normal knicker checking neurotic self next month no doubt!

yellowflowers · 13/11/2008 12:29

Hi smiley, wasabi and wannabe - you are all right of course, but I am an optimist really so am still holding out hope for you.

smileycat · 13/11/2008 12:26

Wannabe* I've decided not to sysmtom spot this month (remind me of that in a wks time) as I've read back over my chart for the last 2 months & have seen that pretty much since the day I OV'd on both months I have had sore boobs & cramps right up to the day of AF. I also had a migraine on both months & felt as though I had to pee more...our minds play nasty tricks on us & make us beleive things are there when they are not, thats not to say that yours could be the real thing. I'm just not going to let my body rule my mind this month & try & get on with it until the day AF is due, then test if no AF, then analyse then month if it turns out to be positive...watch this space I bet I end up sysmtom spotting more than ever as I've told myself not too

wasabipeanut · 13/11/2008 12:18

Wanabe I totally sympathise. I have been spotting on and off since Sunday and even though I know in my heart of hearts I am not pg I still can't lose the tiny little sliver of hope.

The cramps I am currently feeling would perhaps tell me otherwise.

smileycat · 13/11/2008 12:17

On CD7 today, BD'd last night will have tonight off then start DP tomorrow. Think its a good idea when the opk says + to go for it morn & night, DH says he's up for 3 times during pos bit as we are away in a hotel in UK for family gathering & DS can go & play with his cousins while we sneak back for a quicky. DH has big smile on his face now & says he's more than looking forward to next wkend now

WanabeMum · 13/11/2008 12:14

Ok ladies, so i've already decided that this month im out. So tell me then why i am still symptom spotting?!!

I am 10DPO today. Went to the loo this morning and saw 2 very tiny brown spots in my knickers, very unintentionally i add! Nothing since. Then just as i was coming out of a meeting just now i had a mild but noticable cramp. Only the one mind you and now nothing. There is no frequency of urinating, no tender breasts, nothing!

I just need someone to slap me please as i'm almost positive that af will arrive on monday. Help!!!!!!!!! I need a reality check!!

pinkie08 · 13/11/2008 11:27

heebychick

Just how frequent was frequent, Ray stuck to everyother day up to her opk +ive and then went for morning and night.

I am going for frequency this month as only got one more cycle of clomid left after this one.

My Dh is still on the basis that the more the better so isnt a prob getting frequency numbers up, no little kids in the house DD is 8, and he neverrrrr gets up to her if she needs anything

yellowflowers · 13/11/2008 09:55

We're trying for frequency but dh put foot down last night and said no to last night or this morning! (He had bd with me yesterday morning though so I guess fine he wants a break). This is he has boys night out fri night which probs rules out fri night (drunk) and sat am (hungover) but he did agree to try tonight or tomorrow am. phew.

First acupuncture session today

Heebychick · 13/11/2008 09:42

So girls - seeing as Becky and i are examples of 'frequency counts' get to bed with you all!!!

Wow sans all the way over the water! Welcome, and at least you have sunshine, that has to be a good sign (Heeby sits shivering in her cold office!)
Do you have any more children? (sorry if you posted this already?)

Sans04 · 13/11/2008 05:31

Hi to All

Thank you WanabeMum and wasabipeanut I really apretiate your support all of you as I am in Australia I feel alone sometimes, but since I am on this thread it helped me alot thank you very much to all of you, I am not a mad lady about not getting pregnant anymore. thank you

wasabipeanut · 12/11/2008 16:09

Congratulations Becky

From what I remember your schedule was pretty impressive so you are a good advert for frequency!!

Welcome Sans !! Come on in, the water is lovely

Well, I'm fairly sure AF is sue to arrive very shortly as been spotting since Sunday. Grrr. This whole cycle hs been completely off the usual pattern - AF that lasted 12 days (!), ov at day 18 and then spotting 8 days later - aaarrggghhhhh. Just want to get it over with now. I would normally be due today bit with 2 days late ov that would make it Friday.

Heebychick · 12/11/2008 16:00

pezzina don't give up yet honey! it'll be worth it trust me!

i must go on to the deana plan website and tell them it worked first time for us!

WanabeMum · 12/11/2008 13:34

Oh Jools I'm so sorry!! I was completely convinced that this was your time.
Big hugs honey, take care of yourself and do all the things over Christmas that you wouldn't have been able to do. I'm so sorry, can't imagine what you are going through xxxxxxxx

wasabipeanut · 12/11/2008 12:15

Oh Jools I am so terriby, terribly sorry to read your news. I'm sure that you and your dp can pull together and get through this.

At times it never ceases to amaze me how the process of conception and pregnancy can be so utterly ruthless and cruel.
