Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

thanks village and smiley - am in funny mood today - emotional and also worried because am self-employed and work has totally dried up. eeek.

Thanks Funtime - it's reasuring to hear that people do end up having pregnancies to term. I am a bit scared though.

Still There is no time like the present to just hope for the best but be prepared for some hard times.

Last week I was very pleased to have my cycle start....it felt like aha now I realise why I have had to go through this all my life - now I can see it for what it is. An amazing baby making process.

VillageMum · 17/11/2008 10:35

yellow, just to add to what smiley has said: I've read that occasional dips in the luteal phase are normal, even dips below the coverline, so don't worry - doesn't mean anything either way as long as there's a pattern of high temps in that second half of the cycle. (And thanks for your kind words, they've cheered me up in my grim premenstrual state!)

Cindy, I'd just continue with the DP as if you're about to ov; you're sure to in a day or two!

heeby, hope you are feeling well!

smileycat · 17/11/2008 10:27

Hi ladies
C1ndy is FF going by your temps or by what you have told it?, If its your temps they are usually right, if its what you have told it ie CM, cervix etc its probably going by previous months & giving you an expected OV date, but I would carry on with DP just incase.
My OPK was neg this morning, but by my dates from the last couple of cycles I should OV Wed or Thurs so I should get a pos tomorrow or Wed, my first month of OPK so new to all this.
yellow my temp after I OV'd last month went up & down a little but stayed above my baseline until AF, but it did do quite a big dip on DPO7 which I thought (hoped) might have been an implantation dip (wasn't) then went back up to what it had been for the 7 days past OV. As long as there is a definate rise from what it was before OV & it's staying there I wouldn't worry too much about it dropping slightly, when AF is about due..thats another story [sad, but at DPO4 I wouldn't stress too much

Pezzina · 17/11/2008 10:06

Cindy - as you haven't had a positive OPK I would continue BDing every other day - just to be on the safe side. FF is usually right but I would just want to make sure.

yellowflowers · 17/11/2008 08:58

Hi C1ndy - no advice from me I'm afraid. I am so confused by what is right.
My temp dipped today (4dpo) - no idea what this means. aaaaargh

C1NDY · 17/11/2008 08:31

Hi Everyone,

Heeby I am well thanks, but still have not ovulated yet!! my OPK are still not showing a positive and I am usually on a 28 cycle. My FF shows that I should have ovulated yesterday, so am totally confused what to do. I am still doing the DP and am missing a day and bd the next... should I still continue or do you think I have not ovulated yet???

Above question to anyone that can answer - much appreciated Going a little crazy Cindy

yellowflowers · 16/11/2008 23:01

funtime, hello, I'm also waiting for AF to arrive this week (in my case second since mc) and will be starting to ttc too - know what you mean about feeling a bit fraudulent posting here till then, but the girls have been great and a huge support! (was going to ttc last cycle but then panicked and backed off because I didn't feel ready yet - so this is the month!)

funtimewincies · 16/11/2008 19:05

Hello, deeja. Glad to hear that you've stocked up on grapefruit juice (like a good girl, have one here by the computer as I type).

A friend of mine has a bicornate uterus and has had several mcs, something to do with where the egg decides to implant. HOWEVER, she is now pootling nicely through her 2nd trimester and blooming beautifully and .

I'm now gearing up for probable AF this week (1st since mc) and I've never been so desperate for the wich to arrive, so that we can start ttc again (and so that I can post more often without feeling like a fraudulent interloper ).

spats · 16/11/2008 14:56

hi deeja, welcome. a bicornate uterues - hmm thats a new one on me, hopefully you won't have too many problems with it. fingers crossed for you.
This sounds silly as i'm not pg as AF has been here for about 5 days but my boobs still feel a bit heavy and one of them is , don't know how to describe it really, like little tightenings every noe and again. Its a bit annoying and i never have had this before. THis month i had funny sensation like when the milk comes in which made me think maybe it was my month but alas no. I would have thought all pmt symptoms should have gone now as 5 days into AF. SHould i be worried about this sign, maybe something horrid happening to me?

Deeja · 16/11/2008 14:33

Hello ladies. I was wondering if I might join you. I have been mostly reading for a couple of weeks but have just started a new month and am starting TTC for the first time.

I have no idea how easy it will be but I have found out recently that I have a bicornate uterus - higher risk of MC and complications later on.

Anyway I am on CD 5 and just bd'd for the fun of it - well sunday afternoon is my favourite time

I have the grapefruit juice and the ovulation sticks and am ready to go.

Anyway hello!

yellowflowers · 16/11/2008 10:58

Fertility friend puts my ovulation day on cd19 and we had sex on cd 18 and 20 - grrrrr, can't believe we missed the right day. I know FF not precise and also the day 18 sperm probably still alive but still so annoyed we missed the actual day.

Hi everyone

Hope you're all well? Just dropping in quickly as have got friends coming over for early dinner and have got lots to do before they come.

I'm currently on 4 DPO - nothing to report, I'm trying not to sympton spot. I wake up every morning and recite my mantra - must not sympton spot, must not sympton spot - don't know how much longer I'll last though

Heebychick · 16/11/2008 09:51

whitebeaches hi, i asked a smilar thing last month and think it's from the first actual proper day, at least that' what i was counting and it seems to fit in with expected dates of AF.

(((hugs to all))) how are you all doing?

smileycat · 16/11/2008 09:49

white they count the first day as the first day you have a proper 'red' bleed

smileycat · 16/11/2008 09:48

Morning all
Sorry white that the witch got to you, fingers crossed for next month. I started the DP on Friday & I am keeping to it at the moment. Did my 1st OPK this morning as I'm on CD10 & it didn't give me a smiley face although wasn't expecting it to just yet, but when I took the test stick out of the machine it did have a lighter blue line so looks like its on its way just not strong enough yet, my temp is doing exactly what it did last month at this stage so I'm happy that I'm bang on course at the moment. Hope you're all having a great wkend

whitebeachesandcoconutoil · 16/11/2008 08:54

thanks all for your regards.
i have a really daft question when do you count your first day is it from when the bleeding starts 'proper' or from when you get a'show' because lately i have been'showing' for a couple or three days before i actually bleed.

Sans04 · 16/11/2008 03:23
