Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

Hi all,

Well i had some pains in my ovaries and surrounding area yesterday evening and into last night.

Next OPK later today and am hoping its a +ive cos getting very tired from all the bding. Managed this morning and if get that ever elusive +ive will try again tonight.

Heeby your early scan will be wonderful and you can enjoy the time.

wasabipeanut · 18/11/2008 22:34

Not good news from me I'm afraid. I retested Sunday after my 2 borderline tests at the end of last week and got a definite BFN. Still no AF although got some red streaked CM today so can't be far off. This whole cycle has been vile - spotting for days after AF should have finished, late OV and still no AF. I have a feeling that perhaps there was something but it hasn't made it . Obviously not meant to be and certainly a lesson in the futility of early testing.

I just want AF to start so we can start another cycle but typcially when you want her she's nowhere to be bloody seen.

Pezzina I'm sorry to hear about your dh but obviously happy to hear it hasn't affected baby making plans! Its a difficult time at themoment and I hope your dh manages to find a new role without too much trouble.

Heeby all the best with your scan. When you see your little jumping bean I'm sure it will put your mind at rest! Hormonal ups and downs are difficult to deal with I know.

Wanabemum - have a fab holiday. I hope you manage to find some time to bd between shopping trips!

Jools I was wondering how you were. I hope life doesn't stay bleak for too long. You've been through a terrible ordeal and only you and your dp know best how to heal, whether its taking a bit of time out or ttc ing straight away. Whatever you decide I wish you all the best.

Best of luck to all you 2ww's. Its a tough time. Given my AF has yet to start I suppose I am technically still in it but I think we can rule me out for this month.

I was upset at the weekend but think everything happens for a reason. Any lo concieved now would have a birthday very close to ds and actually I think it would be nice to have them a bit further apart so I am trying to look at it positively.

Jools1 · 18/11/2008 22:08

Hi all - still lurking Bleeding seems to have stopped so I may be back here before Christmas - don't want to wait - I need to put back something positive in my life - have something to look forward to, as life seems pretty bleak at the moment

Becky - I notice you mentioned Harpenden - you must be close to me then

Have you tried the Verulam Clinic in St Albans ? I looked into an early scan with them (and wish I had gone for it now ) and it was going to be £75 - just thought you might be able to save yourself some cash

C1NDY · 18/11/2008 21:46

Becky my fingers and toes are crossed for you, I am sure it will be good news. Why are you paying, can't your doctor organise one for you, to give you peace of mind??

C1NDY · 18/11/2008 21:41

Pezzina I have two more days before the 2ww, waiting for hubby to get home so we can bd (is that TMI!)

Heeby enjoy this time, its all going to be fine. Don't feel blue, this is your time. You did the hard bit now be positive and enjoy your pregnancy. You will feel better when you go to your doctors and have an early scan. (((HuGS)))

Village Hi there, not long to go now... you must let me know how you get on.. I have two more days to complete the DP and then I will be twiddling my fingers hehehe! and of course reading everyone's post. Goush its going to be like the football scores coming in this month... .... Let's hope we all score!! goush I am good at this pun thingy... hummmm...

Yellowflowers when is the earliest you can test... is it 10 days before your AF? Seems you have got some symptons... fingers and toes crossed for you.

Wanabemum sorry that AF arrived... you have the time now to get ready for the next round? Did you do the DP this month?

BeckyMcG · 18/11/2008 20:51

Right girls. I'm feeling positive and so have booked myself a private scan 3 weeks from today - 9th of December. This will be 8 weeks for me since the first day of my last period. It's going to cost £95 in Harpenden which isn't far from where I live. It's a small price to pay for piece of mind over Xmas ......fingers crossed for good news.
[wannabe] - I am also off to the US in 9 days - New York and can't wait to hit the shops. I've been saving up everything I need to get!

WanabeMum · 18/11/2008 18:45

ha ha funtime very good, i guess you had better eat that piece then!!

mmmmm chocolate, why is it so much nicer when you feel blue or hormonal? It's like magic!

Only 4 days till my holiday, yay!! very excited now, off to the US for some serious shopping!

funtimewincies · 18/11/2008 18:18

Been shopping today, so sending a HUGE bar Heeby's way (oops, a corner has broken off in transit. Oh well, it'll only go to waste if we don't eat it .)

Elliegant · 18/11/2008 17:55

Trying to stay as relaxed about it as possible this month, had been fed up but feeling lot more positive today, going to try my best not to test early.. Probably not much chance of me holding out though.

WanabeMum · 18/11/2008 17:48

Hey ladies,
Wow been nusy on here today huh?

Heeby sorry you're feeling blue, must be horrible being away from your little one and having to go to work. Cheer up honey Always helps me

Funtime where's the Green & Blacks? Heeby is in need!!

Ahh i feel so at peace with the world, despite period hormones really irritating me of course!

Yellow & Ellie looks like you 2 are our next to test, oooh exciting!! how are you holding up girls? (or not)

How's everyone else?

Deeja i like the comment about it being something if you make it into work! I can totally relate to that! Temping isn't any use to me either, im a bit of a bladder brain and would forget!

yellowflowers · 18/11/2008 16:34

Hi Elliegant - I htought my af due on 23rd but then def ovulated later (confirmed by temping) so now think it'll be 27th. Have a batch of ebay cheapies which I don't really trust and don't pick up early but when I feel need to test I can just use them knowing it's about 25p rather that £10! So can't promise I will wait to use them
x

Hello All,

It's nice and chatty on here today.

Warm thoughts to you Heeby. When I'm down I find a nice warm bath and trashy fiction is a quite nice activity.

I've added myself to the list and put DP (Diana plan is it?). I'm sort of doing that. BDing Every two days, grapefruit juice, ovulation sticks. But not temping...I would never keep it going first thing in the morning...it's a pretty good day if I make it into work .

Anyway I think getting in all the bding is going to be a little different.

Mylittlebubble AF due 10th - 15th Nov
VillageMum AF due 19th/20th Nov (DP after this AF!)
Whitebeaches AF due 17th - 21st
Pezzina AF due 24th Nov DP
Elligant AF due 27th Nov DP
Yellowflowers AF due 27th Nov
JClaire AF due 28th Nov
Sans04 AF due 28th Nov
BoosieBoo AF due 30th Nov DP
Cindy AF due 1 December DP
spats due 7th-? nov
Smileycat AF due 1st-4th Dec
Pinkie08 due 5th dec
Deeja AF due 9th Dec DP
Wasabi AF 11th dec
Wanabemum AF due 18th/19th Dec DP

Heebychick BFP
Becky McG BFP

I will be watching with interest at everybodys result. How exciteing and what a great Christmas present.

Pezzina · 18/11/2008 16:07

Ooooh Ellie you could be nesting!

Pezzina · 18/11/2008 16:06

Well, I had tender boobs, but like you are trying to ignore that. I have also been having slight cramps in my lower abdomen and today it was a slightly sharper pain on my left hand side. Almost like mild period pains but sharper - if that makes sense. Anyway - I'm still trying to fool myself into believing that I'm not sympton spotting at all - ha ha ha

My temps have slightly increased yesterday and today - so thats something, I guess.

Elliegant · 18/11/2008 16:04

Hi all,

Another bust day on here so just trying to catch up.

Heeby Sorry your feeling down honey, Think yellow is probably right is just the hormones sending big hug.

Hi Pezz and Yellow 2ww aaargh.. doesn't get any easier does it. Yellow noticed our Af's due same day!

I seem to be full of energy today and had the urge to have a massive clean out and get rid of loads of clutter so feeling very pleased with myself

Sending showers of baby dust to you all

yellowflowers · 18/11/2008 15:30

Sorry that meant to say what about you?

OP posts:
yellowflowers · 18/11/2008 15:29

Hey Pezzina - I have a few little pains in breasts but am pretending I haven't - recently heard that this is just progesterone anyway so in theory all women's breasts are sore during 2ww whether pregnant or not so def ignoring them. May have metallic taste or may be because I drank too much last night! (Actually about 4 drinks but I hardly drink these days so that is a lot to me).

Pezzina · 18/11/2008 15:16

Hello all,

Been quite busy on here today

Don?t feel blue Heeby ? its probably your pg hormones kicking in. Well done for getting the Dr?s booked up. have some of this and put your feet up ? you?ll feel better in no time

Cindy ? great news your OVing ? come and join us in the trying desperately not to symptom spot 2WW

Hi Yellow 2WW buddy ? how are you doing today?

yellowflowers · 18/11/2008 14:43

Hi heeby. Sorry you are blue today. Just pg hormones or something else?

OP posts:
Heebychick · 18/11/2008 14:30

Thanks guys, am so glad to have you all to talk to.

Feel very blue today (doesn't help that i feel rotten ) but just busy and a bit fed up, really miss DD when i'm at work even tho i only do it PT.

c1ndy great news! on to the 2WW wait for you then now!

yellowflowers · 18/11/2008 14:28

Hi C1ndy - dpo is days post ovulation, so period (af) should come (or not, hoepfully) 14 days dpo. Early testing (no, put the test down!) from 10 dpo.

OP posts:
C1NDY · 18/11/2008 14:26

Pinkie08 Smileycat I gave up on the temping as I have a dd aged 2 who wakes up some mornings at around 4ish... so I always forget to take me temp before getting out of bed doh! so gave up. One day dd played with the temperature unit and it kept bleeping so I placed it in my cupboard and its been there ever since. I might give it another go next month, if all does not work out. What does dop04 ect... mean... I see you guys have written something like that in your posts.

Smileycat I feel the same with my body, so very in tune (apart from the ovulation opk sticks not going positive!) but I can actually feel myself ovulating unless its wind trying to get out.. hehhee!

Baby dust to all....

pinkie08 · 18/11/2008 13:01

HI Smileycat

I was temping but it all went abit wrong and have now missed afew days.

I am using OPKs first one yesterday (-ive)next one today about 4ish. Should have done first one on Sunday but forgot hopefully that wouldnt have been it.
