Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

yellow i had some on the monday and pain so i thought i'd ov'd then, then i had it wed and thurs then sat (all ewcm) then around the middle of the next week (so 7-9 dpo) it started again and stayed till after BFP.

elligant yes that would be so nice to start our own thread, or join nelix and sparky on that one xx

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 17:24

Hmmm - I still say do it!

Have a nice evening whichever you choose.

After deep breathing exercises and recomposing my zen-like 'it'll happen when it's ready' disposition (a state which is quite a fragile one to be honest ), I've decided not to go up. He's coming back tommorrow morning anyway so must just be patient...this also gives me a chance to catch up on all the work i've not been doing whilst reading and posting on this thread!

Hope you all have fun weekends and thanks for making me feel so welcome on your thread over the last few days.

xxx

Elliegant · 21/11/2008 15:51

Hi all,

heeby so glad your staying, who knows in a few weeks there might be enough of us to start our own PG Thread

yellow, trying not to read to much into it but still needing the loo a lot more than usual... trying to keep busy, been at work two days this week instead of one and been doing loads of stuff round the house, don't seem to be able to stop cleaning.

My DS isn't very well so we been having lots of cuddles on the sofa today.

Deeja · 21/11/2008 14:59

Queeny in all seriousness I think there is a balance to be had with trying to concieve positively and not becoming a insane mad woman about the whole thing .

I think I would probably tell DH about the fact that it might be a good night and see if he wanted me to make the journey. Then we could mad people together....ahhh.

Anyway just my two pence worth - you may have already have done that.

Deeja · 21/11/2008 14:51

I'm quite liking the idea of bding at a great distance....I know I'm being silly bit it made me laugh. [Grin] - It's probably just me though.

In a minute i'm going to go and have my first use of an ovulation stick. Reckon it's about the right time.

Pezzina · 21/11/2008 14:37

And thanks to Deeja too - I do try to eat a fair amount of veggies - will focus a little more on the green leafy types

Pezzina · 21/11/2008 14:35

Thanks VillageMum just wanted to check.

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 13:12

Hi heeby - sorry to be a pain but how long after ovulation did you notice extra ewcm?

OP posts:
Heebychick · 21/11/2008 12:55

Thanks for the sofa offer guys, have made tea and will now enjoy a bit of daytime telly before dd wakes!

cindy i had lots of sticky CM after OV and what made me wonder was that it looked like EW most of the time and i'd never had that before after OV time.

VillageMum · 21/11/2008 12:20

Pezzina, the prenatal vits have the right amount of folic acid (and of the other vits too) for preg ladies, so don't worry! Any extra folic acid above that would just be weed out. I read somewhere that an occasional early AF isn't a sign so much of a short lp as perhaps that the egg just wasn't fertilisable that month - maybe see what happens with your lp next month?

Good luck all who are BDing, especially queenie at long distance!

Deeja · 21/11/2008 12:12

Pezzina my doctor said 400 - but you could eat a lot of green vegetables as well!

queenie1 · 21/11/2008 12:10

yellow flowers - crossed posts. Laughing out loud. Maybe I should / will go...and you're right. It should be about romance not BDing...but nothing on under my coat might be a bit of a problem - he's staying with his sister and brother-in-law!!!!!

(I could try sexy underwear under my clothes though...boring, yes, but perhaps better in the circumstances )

queenie1 · 21/11/2008 12:07

Thanks Pezzina. May make the stupid drive later today but probably not. I've got to learn to relax more about ttc and driving round the country on a sperm hunt does not seem conducive to that!!!

I'm sorry to hear you feel like AF is on it's way. But don't give up all hope. Cramps are an early sign of PG too. You'll just have to wait and see (which I know is a nightmare!)

Don't know much abut treatment for a short LP but I think I read on MN somewhere that it's best to see a herbalist before self-medicating. They might just be herbs but herbs can be quite powerful and do things that might not necessarily be beneficial to YOU.

C1ndy: how many dpo are you?

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 12:00

queenie - yes go and join dh def. Maybe just pretend it's romantic rather than for baby making, but turn up in a coat with nothing on underneath - I dare you!

(You'll kick yourself if you don't go and then period starts in 14 days from now thus showing today was ovulation)

OP posts:
C1NDY · 21/11/2008 11:54

Heeby pull a chair.. actually pull up a sofa and put your feet up as your part of this team and we need YOU.

I have been having period like pains this morning very mild but tiny twinges... but it could be anything too early.
I think its wishful thinking. I have 4 pg tests left, its so hard not to just take a test but will hold out until next week before testing again sigh

I am skimming posts as Boss is on my back today... have loads on. So if I miss any posts I am sorry...

Heeby did you still have fertile CM as I have now sticky stuff... so am now thinking I am not pg. Cervix is still high.

Pezzina · 21/11/2008 11:49

Queenie you can have more than one lot of EWCM each cycle and although it usually happens before you OV its not always the case. However, if you are not sure you have OV'd then I would take it to mean you are still fertile and try to BD. Not easy if your DH is away but if you can make it happen then go for it.

Not good news from me, I'm feeling very crampy - sure AF is on her way. Not feeling too bad about it as I have been expecting it since yesterday. More worried about short LP. May start taking Vit B6 or Agnus Castus next month. Also, how much Folic acid is everyone taking a day? The pro natal vits I take has 400ug in - is that enough? I read somewhere it should be 800ug

VillageMum · 21/11/2008 11:44

Thanks for the warm welcome and good wishes guys - cd2 now; hurry up, hurry up...

pezzina, cindy, yellow, all those signs sound really promising!

Heebychick · 21/11/2008 11:43

pez and yellow STAY AWAY FROM THE TESTS!!! i really do think your signs are great tho and secretly am excited for you, i had a tiny brown/yellow dot around 8dpo and then nothing else, then had a cold, CM and lots of twinges ... coincidence? i think not!

Thanks for making me feel so warm and fuzzy guys, you are such a good support, i hope my sickness can produce lots of baby dust to throw over you all ..... here we go

*

((((hugs))))

queenie1 · 21/11/2008 11:39

Your thoughts / advice needed: having completely 'dried up' down there, EWCM is back and more than before. I'm day 19 of what is usually about a 29 day cycle...

Think I've already Ov'd and that I'm about 2dpo but that's just a feeling. I don't know for sure...but now confused.

Could it be an early indication of success or does it mean I need to BD away? DH is away but could join him tonight (a 2 hr journey away). Should I / would you bother?!?!

Deeja · 21/11/2008 11:27

Heeby would love you to stay...it's nice to have a positive reminder that all the hard work is worth it and you write such warm lovely things.

Also I think if I got pregnant I would want to hang around so you better set the precident!

Yellowflowers I'm excited for you!

Want to give everybody positive messages but have a deadline so better do work!

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 10:05

Hey lovely ladies, how are we all doing this morning? Happy belated birthday to funtime and whitebeaches - I hope you enjoyed that cake!

Heeby - good luck at the docs this morning. And stay here - we totally need you as a mascot. Your words on baby bonding/preceeding worries were lovely. I can't think of much to add to it really. Although my lovely, funny ds gives me many a challenge ( he is VERY energetic and spirited) the joy he has brought dh and I is almost impossible to express. And yes, the moment I looked into his beautiful, earnest looking blue eyes was the moment I fell more deeply in love than I ever imagined possible.

Jools - I'm so glad to hear you are feeling positive and have a plan! I hope you enjoyed your nighg of drunkeness - god knows we all need a break from time to time and I'd say you deserved it more than most. Hope your head and tummy forgive you soon!

Pezz - am keeping fingrs crossed that was implantation bleeding. You never know.

Villagemum - welcome to full membership of the ttc brigade May we all stay sane.

Good luck to all those in the window of waiting.....

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 09:36

Hey pez - well, I don't feel pregnant despite all those possible signs. I think on balance am probably not and don't want to get excited. I am going to try not to test until at least Monday as that will be 11dpo - too early still I know but will I be able to resist then - hmmmm
