Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

I am just on a downer today will be ok tomorrow am sure.

we werent even "trying" its just become more obvious as the months go on that its not going to happen without effort and thats been made even harder with the clomid.

Wishing · 03/12/2008 15:09

girlwithacurl · 03/12/2008 13:22

Hi Smilycat yes, wait until tomorrow if you can, it's hard I know!
Pinkie, don't give up, I know its really hard but it will be harder in the long run if you do!
Sorry bubble and wishing... does anyone else feel like we deserve some good news... come on someone, cheer us up with something good!

olivo · 03/12/2008 13:21

wapred? of course, i meant warped !!

olivo · 03/12/2008 13:21

I can see ( in a wapred sort of way!) how lucky i was that last AF arrived before I expected it!it must be a nightmare waiting and not knowing. good luck to all who are hanging on not knowing.
wishing- have you tried fybogel? pretty grim but sorted me out last month!

Wishing · 03/12/2008 12:15

hey smileycat, fingers crossed for you!! try wait till morning to test if you can with fmu!!
xxx

smileycat · 03/12/2008 12:13

Hi
Didn't test this morn as my temp dropped to what it did last month when AF arrived, but as yet no AF & it usually arrives sometime before lunch. I'm feeling very confussed, temp tells me AF should be here, AF is now at least 1 day late maybe 2 & I've felt a little sicky this morning????
I'm scared to test again as it will make me feel shitty all afternoon if its another-ive & will feel stupid that I've wasted another test as temp says I should wait for AF to arrive today...what should I do??? plus I've had a ton of coffee this morning as have been in meetings so any wee I produce for the next couple of hours wouldn't be any good anyway
Think I'll give AF another couple of hours, drink lots of water to filter out the caffine & test later is she doesn't show up....I'll keep you posted

Wishing · 03/12/2008 12:03

sorry pinkie!! sending you lots of love!!

noodle congrats on being able to tell dh, i cant wait for that day!!

i have been up all night, cant get comfy at all as i literally full of poo!!! it hurts to try go cos of the piles, but on a positive front nhs direct sdvised it is a very good sign as its high proestrogen levels that are likely to cause constipation - and im usually really really reg so i know its not my diet thats causing the problem!! i still arent getting excited though as i have been here before and they dont seem to want to stick past 5 weeks so i arent repeatedly testing as if the levels of hcg arent detectable its unlikly to stick! so i can just put it down to auntie flos train being delayed!!

im jumping on small ones bandwagon!! im not symptom spotting im too are merely observing!!

i love being a mummy has deffo got a bfp on another thread but i wont move her to the bfp list, feel its something she has to do!! Big congrats love being a mummy when you do log on to this thread - im sending you sticky sticky thoughts!!

good luck today izzy!! sending you sticky thoughts too!

i feel we need some more bfp! good luck everyone!! olivo just bd anyway you never know!!

love to anyone ive missed

welcome thepippy! and good luck for this month!
bubble, how totally confusing for you. is it worth visiting the drs?
oh pinkie, sorry to hear about yuor spotting, but don't give up, yuor time will come. we're all here to support you whenever you need it.

pinkie08 · 03/12/2008 11:27

After trying not to obsess too much i have had the obligatory spotting on CD26 when guess i will be out for an august baby and will move me to the bottom when its here.

I only have one more cycle of clomid pills left so have asked the gynae to refer me to the fertility doctor.

Goodness knows how long that will take to get an appointment and actually go back through the tests and start treatment.

sooo depressing i just feel like giving up

bubblebell1 · 03/12/2008 11:26

hi girls!!!

still no AF and i didnt bother testing.

so still in limbo..

good luck to all you others

chequersandroastedchestnuts · 03/12/2008 11:23

welcome ThePippy good luck this month!

ThePippy · 03/12/2008 11:15

Hey, can I join in? I have been lurking (no, sulking more like) on the miscarriage threads for a while after having a MMC and ERPC back in September, and now after 2 cycles of disapointment I could do with some support! Good luck everyone and congrats to the BFP's for August 2009! I have added me in order of CD number which seemed to be correct??

Good luck Izzy hope it all goes well!
Wishing sounds like you are having a really bad time of it hope things start going right for you soon!

I still don't seem to have ovulated... doing the DP so ov testing everyday, on CD18 now! oh well, patience is apparently a virtue, we must all be increadibly virtuous I think

olivo · 03/12/2008 10:03

lol at 'observing' smallone!
wishing, i can sympathise - piles are a nightmare!
babybump, so glad it was all ok.
issy - good luck for today, have got everything crossed for you.
lj and bubble - any news?
noodle, hope you are well.

I'm finding it hard to keep up with this thread, so sorry if i havent acknowledged people - i hope you are all well!

I'm approaching mid cycle i think so here's to plenty of bding!!

smallone · 03/12/2008 08:48

wishing sorry you're having a pants time, I've much sympathy for piles, I had them when pg with dd but they've come back since I've had all my "issues".

I've had on off cramping for a couple of days, tonnes of cm and am REALLY cold, can't get warm. Had about 4 layers on yesterday plus hottie and blanket. I remember I was the same around implantation time with DD, couldn't work out what was wrong with me! Not symptom spotting honest.....more observing

noodle12 · 02/12/2008 22:48

Oh wishing don't give up hope I've got really happy vibes about you! Fingers and toes all crossed.

Congrats to all of you who've BFP'd in the last week. Back now from my parents, husband DELIGHTED when I told him our news. I'm just still in a bit of (delighted) shock and wondering how I'm going to get through Christmas without anyone guessing. Anyone got any good excuses for refusing a drink?!

Funny thing happened..... Had tested on sat 22nd Nov - CD23 and got a BFN, then felt hellish on Mon 24th - CD 25 - and tested and got a BFP. Cos I was at my parents I hid the testers in the bottom of my bag. When I opened them up when I got back the BFP was still showing (First Response testers) and would you believe the first test (what I thought was a BFN) now shows a very faint second in line!!! I swear it was a BFN! Just shows it sometimes takes longer than 3 mins! Check and double check them.

Anyway enough mad chat and best of very best wishes to you all xxx

Wishing · 02/12/2008 22:28

great now ive got piles!!!

Wishing · 02/12/2008 22:17

thanks babybump!! that helps a lot!!

xxxx

BabyBump2B · 02/12/2008 20:28

Wishing OMG I tested so much. Ok BFN was with ClearBlue (+/-) but then the first, very faint BFP was also ClearBlue (+/-) - I've since been told they are the least reliable as they've been known to give both false negatives as well as false positives.

The we went to 2 BFPs with the Digital test. Then the 2 Dr BFN, then 2 BFPs with the || First Response (which I've been told by several people are incredibly accurate) AND I peed on a ov test as well because I've heard that you can get a positive with those! I think the digital ones are great because there is no faffing around with whether you think the line is strong or not... AF was due on Friday and I tested on Sat for the first BFP!

Hope that helps!

Issy42 · 02/12/2008 19:14

Thanks babybump. Love the dog story - how cute! My friend is pg and her partner has a heightened sense of smell and told her to test because she smelled like she did when she had her first pg.

Wishing · 02/12/2008 18:45

thanks baby bump!! congrats again glad you got sorted!!

what brands did you get the bfn with and the bfp! final qu i promise??
