My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

suzi - still no AF? have you tested?

well, i have had ov confirmed by fertilty friend as 7 days ago!!! so now 7DPO! no symptoms though

Sunnydale · 11/12/2008 18:24

Evening all. Sorry to hear AF has come, Headfairy. I'm sure I'll be right behind you, despite my burning feeling sounding the same as yours. I did feel quite PG but now I don't. Sorry to everyone else with AF but look on the bright side - at least you can drink at Christmas. That IS the only bright side, when you think about it (hmm, left boob just got itchy - is it a sign?!) Stop it! Stop it! (hits self over head with OPK)

SuziBhoy · 11/12/2008 17:40

hey everyone, things have changed in here a bit but i guess thats cos ive not been on for a week. Got the break i needed and ready to start again (even though AF still hasnt arrived, ive lost count of days late i am but im sure im around the same as bubble), anyway will put that down to no ov. feeling optimistic about this month though.

congrats pippy, and sorry to ilovebeingamummy. sending you {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}

girlwithacurl · 11/12/2008 10:19

ok, so I still don't have a temperature rise! what is going on? I am now on CD26!! I don't know if its just because I don't sleep well so I can't rely on the temping... but I still seem to have a bit of EWCM... first sighting on CD22. I am really worried that I have a short lutal phase, which is why the MC in Sept. and worried that even if I do get a BFP the same will happen. arrgg why is this all so hard!

HeadFairy · 11/12/2008 08:39

Hello Meri, I agree, wait until you're properly late. Sometimes my body chucks in a short cycle, it's just a hormonal blip.

Sans, I hope the moving goes well and the 2ww isn't too hellish.

I'm afraid I'm out for this month, af arrived this morning, so all my speculation was wrong, dunno what the odd spotting was, it just shows though, don't start looking at double buggies until you're actually late I've still got a stock of grapefruit juice and dh is definitely not going out and getting shit faced on the day I ov this month (Christmas day!) as we're at my mum and dad's hahahahaha! Trapped, my dastardly plan will work this month for sure

Sans04 · 11/12/2008 06:58

Hello
sorry for not posting for few days, I had moved to a new house so I was so busy that I couldn't logon.

welcome Meri it's lovely here there is a lot of good and nice ladies here to support each others hope you get some answers, but I think you should hold on until cd28 or ady before, cause as I heared from the others cycles can become shorter or longer for 3 or 4 days as you trying to concive and that's normal, so may be your once is same. I had same problem last year as I broke contraception and since then my cycle were became shorter each month until now I am having a 24 or 25 day cycle from 28 day cycle, but fingers crossed for you lets hope that you're going to get BPF at the end, realax, try to not think about it that much and take it easy, hope that would helped you

Sorry Smallone, lollysmum, and spats that af got you but lets hope that you going to make it next cycle lots of big huges to you.
Issy how are you doing now any news or still in the 2WW wating.
olivo what about your ov are you in the 2WW too?
Wishing and bubblebell I hope you get some answers soon fingers crossed for you.
thepippy a very big congratulation to you I am very happy what a nice gift for xmas lots of sticky thought to you.
As I told befor I am going through DP this month even we were very busy with moving out to a new house but still I was monitering my ovulation, so we had Bding in Cd9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 which I think I ov at Cd13 (wednesday) and going to continue every other day till Cd20, but in my imagination I am on 2WW now so fingers crossed for me and everyone elss.
Baby dust to all of you and good luck.

Meri · 11/12/2008 04:23

I would love an august baby I hope you get what you want I was wondering if anyone here knew how to aswer a question for me this is my first day on this site so here it goes I almost always hav ea 28 day cycle last month out of all month(we are trying to get pregnant) it was a 23 day cycle!!!! Now I don't know whether I should wait to test to see if I am pregnant going by the 28 day cycle and wait until the 23 days come up seeing hopefully no period (in 2 days) and test myself on the 28th day cycle which would be in7 days to see if I concieved soooooo confused some out ther have some relief for me I have had sleepless nights over this stuff! Please help

BabyBump2B · 11/12/2008 03:54

Hi all - Just checking up on my waiting August Ladies!

ThePip - HOORAY - congrats! Come join us on the ante-natal thread.

bubblebell - Have you done a HPT yet? The ewcm thing is what I had too!!! Fingers crossed for you!

Good luck to everyone still trying.

HeadFairy · 10/12/2008 20:29

Sorry lollysmum, I missed your post there. Sorry to hear af got you, I hope you get some answers from the docs.

HeadFairy · 10/12/2008 20:28

Sorry to hear about that smallone and lollysmum, I hope you have a good Christmas and all the festivities take your mind off the ttc rat run.

sunnydale... the burning pain. What can I say? Am I imagining it? Is it real? I had it about 4 dpo and I've had it on and off a couple of times since then too. I wish I'd kept a really detailed diary when I was ttc ds because I can't for the life of me remember if it's the same feeling I had when I conceived him. It's very central, very low down, right behind the pubic bone and it's very localised, I can put my finger right on top of where the pain is, unlike af pains which are a bit more generalised. I've been having some mild crampy pain too, some a bit stronger so I just don't know where I am now.

I've never had a cycle longer than 29 days, but things might have changed, I've had a baby which mucks around with your hormones, and I've had a miscarriage which also mucks around with your hormones. I still don't have af, just tiny smidges of old blood, it looks like brown snot (sorry, that's grim isn't it?). I've had two verrrry pale pink wipes and nothing more. That's quite unlike the old me, I used to get a bit of brown spotting a couple of times and then I'd go straight in to af, sometimes I can wipe extra hard iyswim and start af off properly but not so this time. I'm really going to have to get a grip because I was looking at double buggies this afternoon! Nutter! Talk about tempting fate!

Anyway, enough rambling from me, I hope it's implantation you're feeling sunnydale, it could well be. I do hope we can all meet up on an August 09 antenatal thread soon (although I may have to lurk a bit first, still feel a bit scaredy post mc)

Just updating the list because I never know what cd I'm on!

LollysMum1 · 10/12/2008 19:42

Hi all, well I think I maybe out too. Feel so despondent about the whole thing as for the first month felt really confident that I'd def ov'd and done lots of BDing at the right time. There I was expecting a normal 14 days to wait after OV for AF and the bloody witch turns up a week early. So now I've convinced myself I have a v short LP problem and going to GP on Fri. been trying for over a year now and save for a MC in the summer, sweet FA. I did think it could be implantation bleeding as OV was 8 days ago or so but it's now been going for 24 hours on and off so unlikely I guess.

On a lighter note, congrats to thepippy. Sorry smallone that you're in the same boat.

Sunnydale · 10/12/2008 16:46

Sorry Smallone, best of luck for next month. Pippy, many congrats! Lovely news for Christmas. Enjoy it and please try not to worry. Headfairy, can we discuss the burning feeling behind your pelvic bone? Coz I have it too. I am trying so hard not to symptom spot, and anyway I'm only on CD22 so I doubt I'd have any symptoms this early anyway. But there is something going on down there. I can't bear the waiting to find out what. Half of me is hopeful and the other half is telling me not to be so ridiculous. Torture. Am just trying to take my mind off it, but pretty hard when DD LITERALLY talks about her "baby sister" every five seconds. And oh, I so want to give her one for Christmas! Sorry, rant over - thinking of us all and sending babydust, and baby dust-infused tampons for those with AF (eeew, those sound gross, sorry!)

olivo · 10/12/2008 16:43

sorry to hear that smallone. take care, enjoy Christmas and drop back in when yuo feel ready.

smallone · 10/12/2008 16:01

Good luck everyone, I'm out.

Might turn up on the sept thread after christmas. Generally p'd off with the whole thing. As dd was an accident I really hadn't bargained on it taking 5+ months. How wrong can you be? Think I'm gonna dig my old persona monitor out and see if it helps.

x

HeadFairy · 10/12/2008 15:56

It may well have been Olivo, all signs of af have gone away again. No spotting, nothing. So fingers crossed. I'm not testing til cd32, that's my lucky day, had two bfps on cd 32 so got to hang on until sunday at least. Gotta dash, I'm supposed to be on a course, will check in later.

olivo · 10/12/2008 15:01

ooooh, headfairy, i hope it's implantation! lol at celebrating in August! I had more EWCM and a darkish line ( but not darker!)on an OPK - BUT they were out of date! today my temp has noticeably gone up, so maybe I've only just ov-ed. having realised that last week maybe wasn't it, we bd mon and tues night so i pray that we may have caught it.
girlwithacurl - my dh is a bit fed up of the BDing on demand! I had the same. pos OPK, EWCM and sharp pains, so no idea.
blue, nice to hear from you, hope all is well.

bluesatinsash · 10/12/2008 12:59

Congrats thePippy!!! Feel free to join us on the ante-natal, there's lots of hand holding as quite a few of us have had mcs and need the extra support.

spats - sorry to hear the witch got you this month, but encouraging that your luteal phase is legnthening.

baby dust to all x
