Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

Hi guys, I've updated my details as day1 was yesterday so day 2 today. TMI alert! AF is soooo heavy. Really does leave me feeling exhausted.

Anyway, on a positive note, I have worked out that my cycles appear longer than they used to be - almost certainly over 30 days so I think we have been missing the fertile days completely. Whilst this is obviously bloody annoying at least I can now hope that getting the timing right should make a difference especially as DS and DD were so easy to conceive - we weren't even trying for DS and only tried for one month for DD.

I've explained all of this to DH and told him that once AF has disappeared then he's "getting it" every other day until at least day 25!!! He's been a bit reluctant the last 2 months but seems up for it this time especially as conceiving this month would mean an August baby, if we don't it will be September and that will mean that baby would fall into a different school year eventually which in turn means an extra 12 months of nursery fees.

I've started to take evening primrose oil which is supposed to increase cm but as I don't know when I ov I'm not sure when to stop taking it - apparently it causes contractions and can interfere with implantation. Any advice?

Sorry 2manychips, we cross posted. I'm 37 too and had an early mc in March and I think a chemical pregnancy last week (may have been a faulty test).

Hey ladies! may I join? Been ttc#2 for 6mo. (seems nothing compared to some on here)Have a beautiful 18mo dd, but worrying why this is taking longer. Had a chemical pregnancy a couple of cycles back. Am 37 so have also got the age thing concerning me a little. Hope I've understood the abbreviations.
Have a 26-28 day cycle and cd5.

Hi yellowflower- in the 4 years of trying we underwent a multitude of tests but the results were inconclusive- unexplained infertiity. Then the miscarriage. So now we want a second and as I'm 36 i am worried that age is not on my side.
How long have you been trying?

makka · 29/10/2008 11:55

Hi I'm fairly new here. I have one little boy who is 16 months old and I have been ttc no. 2 for four months now. It took us 4 years and a mc to conceive no. 1 so I'm worried and anxious already.
I have a 28 day cycle and am on cd9 today- fingers crossed or us all!!!
