My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

CD 14 today and had ewcm since yesterday. DH works away sun-fri so I figured if we were gonna have any chance this month it'd have to be today, as I'll probably ov while he's away during the week (altho tcoyf software reckons I'm gonna ov on Friday so not lost all hope). He took DD out this morning and I told him I wanted them back at 12.30 so she could go down for a short nap and he and I could too ;-). They arrived back home at 2.40, too late for DD to nap (or I'd never get her down tonight), so no BD. Am not a happy girl. Hope ov stays away til Friday. If I ov thursday would a friday evening bd be too late?

Thanks SuziBhoy. Welcome noodle and evie .

Olivo glad ff amended your chart. It often gets my date wrong - I know because I get scanned.

HomeintheSun - can you get them on the internet?

Wishing you need to give me a virtual slap. Glad you're doing better.

Sunnydale - thanks for your reply. Sorry you had BFN too. I've re-read the instructions and can see now that you're right, so since I'd been doing them wrong, I retested today and got another BFN . I did the CB digital as well (to compare as I'm not sure I trust the cheapies) and it's 87% accurate by now so I'm probably out for this cycle. Bought the Pregnacare conception tablets today - three times the price of the standard ones but my friend who is now 15 weeks took them the month she got pg.

Sorry you got bfn's bubblebell and neevyweevy. And sorry to hear about your sister bubblebell.

Good luck everyone and sorry if I've missed anyone.

spats · 16/11/2008 14:49

which country are you in homeinthesun? is it warm, if so i am very jealous!

HomeintheSun · 15/11/2008 22:16

Hi Wishing I'm glad you're going to try and stay relaxed for the next couple of weeks I'm here if you need to be talked out of prodding and symptom spotting because I did exactly that last month and was so angry at myself when af arrived. With all the talk of OPK, I went to the local chemist today to see about getting some, I nearly fell through the floor, they are soooooo expensive out here 37 euros for either 5 or 7 needless to say I lift without them, I'm going to base this month on ewcm, now I'm drinking grapefruit juice I think I'm getting there.

evie2000 · 15/11/2008 21:20

hi all, just dropping by to say good luck to all. I'm ttc number 2, trying hard not to get too worked up as only on month 5 of trying....so dififcult not to get stressed out isn't it. Anyway will be keeping a close eye on you all and hope to hear fantastic news soon for everyone.
Babydust and happy vibes, and stress free months to all.

olivo · 15/11/2008 19:33

hello again, and welcome noodle. NOt only are we on same cd, i am alos trying for no 2, and have recently come off the pill so no idea what is going on. my good news is that fertility friend has reassessed its data and moved my ov (to when i thought it was!) and i now have better chances of getting pg! can't believe i am so reliant on a bloody computer programme!! i ahve been feeling a bit different this last week, bloated and a few pains but dont know if it is simply my body still adjusting to no pill hormones. my boobs are a bit sore but not tingly and my bra is a bit tight.bizarre!
looking forward to some positive news.
by the way, bubble,i read somewhere that until 10 days after conception ( is that implantation?)alcohol won't make a difference. don't know the theory behind it but hopefully it reassures you.

bubblebell1 · 15/11/2008 18:45

thanks neevy ive emailed you so youve got mine too.

Sunnydale · 15/11/2008 18:42

Hello All

I've been getting a "full" feeling downstairs too, as well as a mild crampy hot feeling around each ovary. It isn't constant but it comes and goes, and I feel it most when I bend over (eg putting on DD's shoes). It feels exactly like when I was PG before, but I still don't think I am and that it's AF arriving, esp since I tested a BFN yesterday.

Issy I don't have the instructions with me at the mo but from memory you had to leave the stick in the pee for 5 mins - let me check when I get home and I'll let you know. I agree the instructions were quite rubbish - no wonder they're cheap. Can't believe yours came without any.

Good luck to all and welcome Noodle - wonder who will be the first BFP - so exciting!

noodle12 · 15/11/2008 18:12

SuziBhoy · 15/11/2008 17:32

sorry bubblebell, i meant to write bfn.

neevyweevy, i will also be testing on thursday, which is also my birthday, lets hope i get a great birthday present from first response

who else is testing in the next week?.........

SuziBhoy, neevyweevy, bubblebell1

spats · 15/11/2008 17:32

hi bluebell. I just realised i put my post on without going back and checking if anyone had posted anything whilst i was looking at other threads. Mine seems really insensitive now. I felt really guilty when i read your post before mine just now. I am really sorry about your sisterthat must have been a tough time. and don't worry about the wine, my first ds was a honeymoon baby and i didn't know i was pg and i had wine every day for a fortnight and he is fine. the test probably was a bit early especially if you ovulate later in your cycle. Good luck for next few days, hope af stays away. x

noodle12 · 15/11/2008 17:31

Hi there, been watching for last couple of months and feel like I know you all so hope you don't mind me joining in.

I'm on TTC2 and usual cycle? Never know as just had the Mirena Coil removed in the middle of September so haven't really had a proper cycle in a couple of years.

AF sadly came after 32 days last month. Reason I was so disappointed was that when we tried for our DD 3 years ago I had the copper coil removed and was PG within 3 weeks! I know the Mirena is slightly different, but I was (unrealistically) hoping anyway! Being a bit more realistic (well, trying to be) this month and realising that we were the luckiest ever first time around although we knew that anyway

This month feels different though - I could actually feel myself ovulating this week and the wee sticks I peed on showed the LH surge (or whatever it's called!!) and they didn't last month so fingers crossed.

CD 17 now and determined NOT to make the mistake I made last month and tested from CD 22 to 32... cost a fortune! I'm hoping you'll all help me realistic this month and hopefully I won't get as obsessed.

Anyone else just had a coil removed?

neevyweevy · 15/11/2008 17:19

Awww bluebell, I really hope you get a BFP , i cant believe how complicated this all is!! The griping pain seems to have eased a little so maybe it was just wind but I have had a "full" feeling in my lower tummy for a few days now and its driving me crazy, my boobs hurt like hell although im sure thats because i cant leave them alone!! I see we are on about the same cycle length, maybe we can do a cheeky test together on thurs night??? thats only 2 days before im due so not that early? Might keep me from wasting more money on tests if i know someone else is in the same boat? xx

bubblebell1 · 15/11/2008 17:08

hi suzi

thanks, i didnt get a bfp it was a bfn i am hoping it was too early to count tho.

neevy i have been having pains since last weekend, feels like presure then get more painfull twinges im hoping its a good sign as i have never experienced this before.

officially i should wait til sunday to test again but i want to tell dh before he goes away friday

neevyweevy · 15/11/2008 16:55

Hi everyone, Now on day 23 and i couldnt help myself so i did a test this morn and got a BFN those clear blue digital ones with that give you when they think you conceived too - they are absolute torture as its like a computer and it makes you wait the whole 3 minutes!!!! I know its still early days but about an hour ago I have had the most awful constant pain down low in my right side, not sure what it is, its almost like a griping pain but very unsettling, anyone else had this??? xxxx
