I'm on the 2ww although because I'm on cd18 I've got ages yet. When I got pg with my DS it got to day 36 I knew I was pg, I told DH "I think I'm pg" and he said "No you're not" day 37, I was nearly sick in my mum's kitchen at the smell of a tomato sandwich, DH head was still in the sand then day 38 when we did the test DH thought the test could be broken when it turned +ive. Bless him.

verykeen, so sorry to hear about this. i hope your friends realise how difficult it is for you.
pinkie, go for it! enjoy

smallone · 20/11/2008 19:24

Thanks smileycat will look out for that.

VeryKeenForABean · 20/11/2008 18:56

Thanks Pinkie

pinkie08 · 20/11/2008 18:52

Hi verykeen

Please dont be upset , it is so hard to talk to people who are pg around the same dates as you should have been, but if she is a nice girl she will know instinctively that its hard for you.

I wouldnt even think about those neighbours its none of their business. Hold your head up high you are only doing what thousands are also doing. Just look at all of us

VeryKeenForABean · 20/11/2008 18:34

I can't keep up with this thread!! It's great we're all here supporting each other

Welcome new people, and sorry about AF Issy & Sunny (know just what you mean about being reassured you're "working" again though!)

I am having a rubbish evening . Was in town and was going to buy DH's best friend's wife (got it!) a present as he is going to see them this w/e. She is pregnant, almost exactly the same dates as my ectopic. I then had to come home crying cos it made me feel so awful about it not being me . I really want to talk about how hard their baby having our never-to-be's bday is but really don't know how to say it without seeming awful. Just think I would feel better if I had said it iyswim.

On arriving home, and finding the doormat still devoid of the parcel containing my ebay preg tests, I emailed the seller who confirmed that they had been sent, but delivered to my neighbour! I went to the neighbour who has returned it, but said "good luck " as I went down the path. Help, now my neighbours now I'm ttc, and so then I started crying all over again

Can only imagine this weep-fest means af is on her way! At least no tests keeps me from being tempted!!!!

Hope others are less teary than me !!

(sorry for long post!)

pinkie08 · 20/11/2008 18:30

Hey guys,

I got my +ive on my opk, this afternoon it was -ive and i was feeling a bit despondent.

Let the bding fest begin

In the mean time olivo that dip could be due to sleep deprivation but also can be implantation so dont give up yet.

olivo · 20/11/2008 17:56

sunny, that's weird as i have had constipation for the last few days - let's hope its a good sign! sorry to hear about AF, and you too Issy.

I'm now into wk 2 of the 2ww and got a low temp this morning which threw me. i'm hoping it was just an oddity because dd was up lots in the night.
good luck to those at the other end of the cycle.

SpecialOffer · 20/11/2008 17:26

Hope you don't mindm I have added myself to the list.

I have all the symptoms of AF, feel like it is def on the way so am feeling rubbish!

Keep smiling suzy - at least AF isn't here!!

Issy sorry to hear it didn't work out this month. Hope work thing isn't too awkward x

bluesatinsash · 20/11/2008 15:08

Hey all, not magaged on for a couple of days, having withdrawals!

Welcome newbies and sorry to hear about AF appearing Issy and Sunnydale.

Hi spats - it is hard to bd on demand isn't it - especially when you just can't be arsed! but it is for a greater good so just think of England girl!

I'm off work tomorrow as its DH's birthday. AF due on Sat. so if you see her tomorrow don't tell her I've high tailed it to Glasgow OK? Paranoid about tempting fate so won't test until Sat. That bloody test keeps winking at me from my knicker drawer...

Can't believe I waited until I was FIVE days late to test when I was pg with DS - ah the good old, pre mc days when I was laid back and tres ce sera sera.

babydust and bd to all x

spats · 20/11/2008 12:43

my laptop is broken so haven't been able to log in for few days. I have withdrawal symptoms. Having to quickly use DH computer when he pops into town. He works at home and is on it 24/7 so can't get on this one. There has been so much actibvity in last few days haven't got time to catch up, except seeing Wishing symtom spot again!! Naughty girl!! Fingers crossed though, you deserve it after the rough maonth last time. I am CD9 and doing DP this month which meant i had to BD last night and really wasn't in mood, think it is going to be hard work this DP. I am really tired as DS been up last two nights so tired and grumpy doesn't give me a drive to BD!! I am drinking my grapefruit like a good girl and taking a load of vits for different things, i think i will rattle. I have a load of OPK for a friend who got them off ebay so will use them this month alongside my clearplan ones to check they work, then i can use the cheaper ones in the next few monts. May make a trip to Dr to check hormones , as 35 noext month think i can get away with saying we have tried for 6 months rather than the year needed if your a younger model!!. Reassuring to get everything checked i think. Well gotta go as DH back. Happy BD and babydust to you all. I hate not logging in everyday, what did we do without computers!! xx

lillypie · 20/11/2008 09:49

smileycat thanks I have a pretty regular cycle and usually ov around day 14 hence the confusion.

I'll just keep bding until FF charts my ov

hohum

girlwithacurl · 20/11/2008 09:48

Hi everyone, just checking in as I am on the long wait before BD marathon starts.

Sorry Issy and Sunny

Specialoffer... bad you for testing early! I totally understand the desire but its not good!

good luck everyone on the 2ww!

smileycat · 20/11/2008 09:35

smallone they say you can tell the difference by stretching it between your fingers, his will break after only a little stretch but your will stay stretchy & not break, but otherwise they do look the same

smallone · 20/11/2008 09:23

Morning all, I've started my BDing, gonna try for a marathon session this month. So far CD 6 & 7, but more coz we felt like it than anything else, although I think DH is determined this month, as every few nights when he comes home I tell him of someone else who is pregnant!

Does anyone know anything about CM? I've not gone into this before but I thought it might be worth a look at! My question is, (TMI alert) If you have BD'd the previous day, how do you know who's it is? I ask because bd'd on day 6 and on day 7 I had globby stretchy CM, but that can't be ov can it? on day 7? confused!

evie2000 · 20/11/2008 09:00

oh and smileycat you are more than welcome to join me on the dreaded 2ww. I told DH I wasn't going to test at all this month as we're away for the weekend next weekend and then on holiday and it gets me down every time. He said that was really silly cos I'd just end up totally distracted and only able to think about that and building hopes up so i've realised he's right and there just is no right in this situation!

evie2000 · 20/11/2008 08:58

thanks smileycat and olivio - appreciate your words of wisdom. Sadly didnt' manage to bd last night as DH home late and stressed out so didn't feel I could. Am hoping that the multiple other days will have done the job as temp has now gone up. I think it's been steadily climbing rather than one big leap!
GOod luck to all and sorry to everyone who has AF. I know myself the first few days are the hardest and i get very down but I hope you all manage to pull yourselves up and embrace the ttc for the next session!
