My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

Congratulations blue and special, am so pleased for you!! How amazing that we're in on it from the beginning!!! Hope you're both feeling well, and it's beginning to sink in!

Thank you so much for all the supportive and kind messages. Am feeling a bit better now. Am going to try and wait 'til maybe Tuesday before testing, but those bfp's have tempted me!!!

Baby dust to all x

smallone · 22/11/2008 09:05

Congratulations specialoffer and bluesatinsash glad to see the BFPs are starting to roll in.

My sister is staying from tonight til wednesday CD10-15, so we're going to have to be very quiet!

I've just realised that the lubricant that we use is probably not helping us conceive, and not wanting to fork out on preseed am trying natural methods to do without. I'm trying fenugreek tablets and drinking lots of water. The fenugreek worked to increase my breastmilk when I was BFing so I'm hoping it'll do the trick now. If anyone else has any other ideas I'm willing to try!

olivo · 22/11/2008 08:20

dcb - your temp does dip with your period although mine didnt till this morning and my AF arrived last night. Like you, had been on the Pill so no idea but obviously, what i thought were constipation pains were probably AF pains!!
my only consolation is that at least i can monitor properly now i've had a 'real' period, and can take meds for this stinking cold wothout worrying ( hot toddies here i come!!)

olivo · 22/11/2008 08:17

Sorry, RipMW was steps ahead of me! have put myself on cd1 as FF told me if your AF arrives in the evening or night to count it as the next day. And how could i forget the BFPs !!

Morning all

I'm so excited to read we have our first bfps!!!!! I really, really, really hope they're not the last....

Am officially on the 2ww now. Have a feeling it's going to be looooong one.

Those BFPs were lovely news this morning. Plus I heard a friend who's had a couple of mc is having a baby. Am so pleased for her. I have a good vibe and am feeling a lot calmer about the whole thing just now. Not sure why.

Homeinthesun - hope you don't mind me updating the list again to show our BFPs!

Hi all. Have been following your thread. Can I ask a quick question? Does your temp drop just before a period? Am on day 26 and feel as if I might have period pains - although can't remember what my old periods were like - I've been on the pill for years and haven't had a proper one for ages? Still wishful thinking...

Babybump2B I hope I'm right in saying that ttc number is the child number you're trying for. welcome to the thread and good luck.

BabyBump2B · 22/11/2008 01:21

Ooops does the TTC mean the number of attempts of TTC (i.e. this is our 5th month trying) or how the number of the child you are trying for (i.e. 3rd child?) Just wanted to be clear that I am not trying for my 5th child!!!!

BabyBump2B · 22/11/2008 01:18

Hi all!

Hope you don't mind if I join you - I've added myself to the list.

Also (hope its not tmi) but I've had a sort of constant amount of ewcm despite having ovulated already. Does anyone else get this?

Congratulations Specialoffer and Bluesatinsash !

Sorry AF arrived Olivo.

I'm away for my cousin's wedding in the morning, so here's hoping for lots more BFPs by the time I next read the thread.

olivo · 21/11/2008 19:58

didnt expect to be back again so soon, but AF has just arrived. strangely enough, i don't feel as disappointed as i thought i might, more relieved that my body is doing something after coming off the pill and pleased that i can still 'have a try' for an august baby.
oh, and can take something tonight to relieve my cold!!
so, i'll go to the bottom of the list again!!
good luck to everyone else.

HomeintheSun · 21/11/2008 18:44

Congratualtions specialoffer and bluesatinsash! I hope this is the first two of many.

olivo · 21/11/2008 18:34

Congratualtions specialoffer and bluesatinsash! I wish you loads of luck and may your bfps be the first of many.

noodle, i thought i mght have try on sunday, that's be weeks post ov for me. not hopeful this cycle but you never know i suppose. how about you? are you more patient than me?

feeling pretty dreadful today, full of cold and had a hellish day at work, but the bfp news has cheered me up.

evie2000 · 21/11/2008 17:39

oh blue satinsash, I know I've only dropped into this thread a few times but I'm just so thrilled for you. That positive test is so exciting and particularly in light of your recent experiences. Enjoy every moment and really good luck.

Oh so glad i've popped by - was feeling a bit down but now really positive and reminded it can happen!

great news.

pinkie08 · 21/11/2008 17:36

Congrats to bluesatin and specialoffer,

it is def. becoming a lucky thread keep them coming

SpecialOffer · 21/11/2008 16:31

Congratulations bluesatin, i will see you on the due Aug thread.... its growing slowly!

HeadFairy · 21/11/2008 16:28

oh wow congratulations bluesatinsash and specialoffer. Lets hope it's the start of a very busy month on the bfp front

bluesatinsash · 21/11/2008 16:23

Congratulations specialoffer - can I join you?!!

I did a test this morning as its DH's birthday and there it was, 11 weeks and 6 days since my mc, a big fat positive. I slipped stick into DH's gift bag so he stumbled across it when he was taking out his new Kings of Leon CD.

I'm in shock. LMP 25th October, EDD 1st August.

No red wine for me tonight

evie2000 · 21/11/2008 14:24

specialoffer congratulations - how exciting. If you live in london a few hospitals have a drop in EPU (early pregnancy unit) where you can get a scan. I know St George's Tooting does - my memory says 8am till 11am but I might be wrong on that. If you're not in london might be worth checking other places that do the same. I found it very useful with DS and they didn't seem bothered by visits and they say the stress of waiting for scans doesn't do anyone any good.
So thrilled for you. I have a long 2ww ahead and i'm only on CD22....bugger it! Definitely not going to sympton spot as have been burnt by doing that before when every sympton telling me I was pregnant and then I wasn't!
Good luck all.

SuziBhoy · 21/11/2008 13:48

wow specialoffer congrats, spread the luck please

noodle12 · 21/11/2008 12:41

and sans04 and bexxa just noticed the four of us are the same. Sorry bit slow these days - my brain's all over the place is that a symptom?!?!?!?!

noodle12 · 21/11/2008 12:39

Hi everyone

Not been on for a few days as having a wee holiday at my parents. Great for keeping my mind off things... although just logged on to see I'm now CD23!!! Trying to calm down and not test too early as I went through about 10 testers last month.

Brilliant news specialoffer fingers crossed it rubs off on the rest of us

Olivo we're on the same dates so can you help me be patient! When you going to test?

SpecialOffer · 21/11/2008 12:38

Can i get an early scan? I am assuming I would have to go private for that? I think I would love to do it as I remember the wait until 12 weeks with ds was agony - so long.....

pinkie08 · 21/11/2008 12:32

congrats specialoffer

Lets hope the luck spreads and i hope you are feeling ok?

Are you going to get an early scan?

Lots of love
