Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

well long time no see. My bloody internet has been down,so been away for most of the month.

Was appropriately busy at right time but feel af coming along. Gave in tested this morning, and bfn with first response early so obviously a no for me now. (usually very accure early for me this test)

Am seriosly depressed now as seems it might have been my last chance.

Dh announces the other night, he's not really sure he wants another one now. We are skint due to a huge tax bill hitting us earlier this year and we argue constantly over money. PRobably just as well really if we constantly bickering.

I'm 42 now so i said to him, he has to organise to get the snip then but am sooo fed up about it, I can't tell you.

Should be grateful, I've got 5 gorgeous healthy kids and some people don't have that ever but there's this huge great hole inside of me, that i have no control over. I am absolutely torn up over him saying that.

Huge congratulations to all the bfps, and fingers crossed to all waiting. I'll probably lurk a bit, see how you all get on, but i'm out.

NewhereHelp · 24/11/2008 22:35

This is fantastic , then there were three - it seems like ages to get to bd days let alone the 2ww that follows (she says trying her best to understand the lingo).

I have learnt so much here already and you can really feel the positivity it's great.

Fingers crossed for lots more BFPs (there I go again!).

Keep smiling!

ilikeyoursleeves · 24/11/2008 22:19

Hi all!

Sorry I've been AWOL most of this month but that's maybe been a good thing for me cos I usually obsess around this time! I just realised I am on CD33 but I am quite chilled out this month as I don't think we did the deed at the right time at all (well, I didn't get any EWCM so I haven't a clue when I OV'd) so I'm not convinved I am PG at all. I will keep you updated anyway! Good luck to all!

bluesatinsash · 24/11/2008 20:59

Congratulations noodle - fabulous news!!!

Suzi - fingers and toes crossed for you

I feel some more BFPs coming soon....

BabyBump2B · 24/11/2008 20:03

Noodle - hooray! Thats brilliant news - congrats!

olivo · 24/11/2008 20:00

bubble and suzi, fingers crossed for you both.

I am feeling rough today, full of cold and what might be a chest infection. I don't want to go to the drs as I guess we shouldn't ttc if i am on antibiotics? Hoping i might be able to shake it off, and am at acupuncture on wednesday so that might help.

smileycat · 24/11/2008 19:57

noddle I'm so happy for you, well done how can you contain your excitment with your parents there

olivo · 24/11/2008 19:54

SuziBhoy · 24/11/2008 19:01

i have everything crossed for you? let me know how u get on

BabyBump2B · 24/11/2008 18:54

Girlwithacurl - how insensitive of your bro. I'm sorry to hear that!

Smileycat - arrrg! I'm with you - trying really hard to be patient but its not easy.

So I broke down and decided to pee on a stick this morning and... the bloody stick was a dud! No test line at all. So I tried another one I had from the same batch (bought online) and it was a dud too!

I'm not sure its a good sign when you can't even get a test line!

RipMacWinkle · 24/11/2008 18:54

Oh Suzi - I've got absolutely everything crossed for you. Here's hoping that af stays away you're our lucky number 3.

Hi Ladies back from my wkend away, great to hear the BFP's & sorry to hear the witch got to a few of you. I'm 6 days in to the 2WW & trying my best not to symptom spot this month, its soooo hard as its never really out of your mind, but I will be strong, only another week to go

girlwithacurl · 24/11/2008 09:56

Morning everyone! Congrats special and blue!

Glad to hear you are sticking with this thread Olivio, Very and Neevy I need the company down at the bottom

My brother and sister in law announced their "news" yesterday, got pg on their honeymoon first time of trying. Really trying to be happy for them, but its hard when a year later we are still not there, also my bro was totally insensitive and all he said to me was "are you still trying"... like we thought, oh you know what this is all a bit much like hard work, lets not bother after all . I feel worse as I nearly missed the wedding because of the MC, which they knew about... and my cycle hasn't really settled down yet. Still I have a good feeling about this month. Pregnacare, temp charting and Deanna's plan here I come!

bubblebell1 · 24/11/2008 09:10

morning girls!

how is everyone this morning.

sorry lj, suzis af hasnt arrived i misunderstood her post

Olivio...i think i will try the sperm meets egg plan once AF rears her ugly head. still a bfn this morn tho do you think the cheapie tests i got from babymad are faulty

how much grapefruit juice do i need to drink daily to help my cm? and do you think pregnacare conception is better than just taking folic acid?

im really confused i dont know why i havnt come on as i am sure i ovulated 2 wks ago today. i just want af here so i can start again iykwim??

BabyBump2B · 23/11/2008 22:51

Hi Ladies!

I'm going nuts in my tww. Wasn't really thinking about it but every night I have TONS of pregnancy dreams. My subconscious is trying to kill me!

4 Days to go until AF is supposed to arrive. Arrrrrrg!

olivo · 23/11/2008 20:53

hello bubble, was just wondering about you earlier. i'm going to do the sperm meets egg plan if me and dd ever shake off this stupid cold. i'm also armed with grapefruit juice ,and the pregnacare conception tablets, as well as a new subscription to fertility friend!!fingers crossed for you still though, you might get a late bfp.

bubblebell1 · 23/11/2008 20:11

hi girls!

how are you all? still no more BFPs

lj suzi has her af. she posted friday i think so whoever updates the list can put her in.. i dont want to tamper i normally get it wrong.

well i still have no af and no bfp quite confused as it is normally here by now.

heres to next month.

i wondered if you were following any other methods. i know some of you are trying the sperm meets egg plan but am open to other suggestions

evie2000 · 23/11/2008 17:38

what's the story with grapefruit juice? goodness me!
hello to all and sorry to hear of AF's but hopefully some more BFPs soon. Th elong wait is on it's way here, only 7 more days till I test but unfortunately already have aches like AF so feeling a bit blue. mustn't be though - it's sunday night and we're cosy at home and we have much to be thankful for.
love and luck to all.

BellaHarry · 23/11/2008 14:11

Hiya NewHere, two hours apart! That sounds tricky, I have trouble getting it in reularly as it is!

NewhereHelp · 23/11/2008 13:53

Hi all,

You all know / do so much more than me!! I have 2 teenage kids and they just sort of happened - don't know anything about temps / OPKs / Grapefruit juice - does this not just make it all a little more stressy?

I have been taking folic acid though, DP and I currently live over 2 hrs apart so we only get weekends really, although in a lucky twist that is always cd13 & 14 - I also just happen to be stopping in a hotel not too far away on Wednesday (CD10) - you never know eh!

Failing that Xmas will be a fantastic time for some BDing

Sorry went on a bit, hope all is good with everyone.x
