Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

Evie sorry about your temp drop, although looking through FF charts some girls do have a temp drop & are still pg, I know its cluching at straws but don't be too down until you see the red stuff, big glass of wine if it does come, big bar of choc & you'll be ready for next month

lillypie · 28/11/2008 08:53

I'm so sorry evie just try and relax for a couple of weeks until the next round.

Well 3 DPO so the torture begins again.

I keep telling myself that what will be will be and if I don't manage to conceive again then I have still been blessed with three beautiful babies.

DD was a special gift, completely unexpected after a 21 year gap,but all these things don't stop me from wanting one more baby SO MUCH.

bubblebell1 · 28/11/2008 08:41

oh evie im sorry!!! big hugs. i know how your feeling. stay with us on here for next month xxxxxx

evie2000 · 28/11/2008 08:33

morning all. Unfortunately I had a temp drop today, as well as cramps so I am out. I feel really gutted and despite my positive words for others I feel pretty blue about it. I will be fine but for now I'll just mope I think. Away to my in laws for the weekend - all I really feel like doing it snugglying up to a hot water bottle and crying but then life does go on as we all know.
You've all been a great support and laugh this past few weeks and I wish everyone still on the list the very best of luck. Baby dust all round and I mean that so very very much. I'll pop by in a week or two when I feel more cheerful!

bubblebell1 · 28/11/2008 07:59

hi girls!

how are you all?

im so proud of you all, holding off on the testing front. it saves so much heart ache.

WELL........ af is yet to arrive and i didnt waste a test this morn. im going to be brave and wait til next week.

we need some more good news soon

has anyone ever missed a period and not been pregnant? im miffed as i had horrific pains mid cycle day 10- 14 and then a temp rise a few days later.then i think perhaps i ovulated later and missed my most fertile days, should i of just bd every day? and now im completly over analysing everything.

slap me quick before i hyperventalate.

smileycat · 28/11/2008 07:44

Morning
My temp is still up this morning, wishing away the wkend already so that Monday hurries up (what are we like) I'm going to take my temp over the wkend & if it hasn't dropped by Monday morn then I'll test then, but if I get a drop Sun & Mon then I wont waste a test as AF will probably be on her way..good luck to all comming up this wkend & early next wk

I def had OV pain this month felt like you said traped wind & was really uncomfortable for a couple of hrs, kept going to the loo to try & force something out thought that that might ease it but it didn't, it was gone the next morn & my OPK was +ive that afternoon, FF put me down as OVing the day after

smallone · 27/11/2008 22:41

headfairy at your bouncing ovary! I'm afraid I'm no good with pains as I had no pain at all before dd, and hardly any af pain. Now I get serious af pain, have to take superstrong drugs, but I also suffer lots of pelvic pain with my ibs/coeliac/whateveritis so I don't really know whats causing what.

Not doing very well with BDing this month, so far day 6,7,8,10 and 13 I think although I've lost count. Have just propositioned DH and he's not bothered. Don't want to force the issue coz we're supposed to be taking the relaxed approach to ttc but I know when AF arrives I'll kick myself that this time could have done the trick.

olivo · 27/11/2008 20:38

evening all! still so impressed at those of you holding off testing!good luck when you give in
Headfairy, i had horrible pains last month, had to take pain killers. they lasted a day and a half (intermittent, not constantly for 36hrs!!) and hurt more than trapped wind, they felt lower than wind feels too so I assume they were ov pains.
lolly - i started with pregnacare conception at the start of this cycle, i've yet to see any effect. have also started EPO and am doing grapefruit juice (of which i've developped a strange liking !)
hope everyone else is well.

HeadFairy · 27/11/2008 19:27

sorry, evie, pre-seed is a gel I think which is supposed to mimic ewcm. I could be wrong though, I haven't used it. I'm sure someone cleverer than me will be along soon

HeadFairy · 27/11/2008 19:26

I'm taking pregnacare classic... I've got another box to go, may well switch to the conception ones if I don't strike it lucky this month.

Can I ask a question please? Do you all feel ov pains? I'm not the best at reading my body, before I had ds I could have sworn I didn't get ov pains, but I'm much more aware of my body now I've been pregnant (I had no idea where my uterus was until I felt implantation pains! - Ok I knew it wasn't in my elbow, but I didn't realise how low it was)

Anyway, the past two cycles I've had noticeable pain about three fingers to the side of the midline on cd 15. It's like a pinching pain, if I didn't know any better it feels a bit like trapped wind but it's too far down and too far forward. Before ds I had worked out I ov'd on cd15 usually, so now I'm starting to think they're ov pains I've been feeling, but I've heard people describe them as like cramps, but mine are definitely pinching pains, and if I jump up and down it feels slightly more tender, like my ovary is bouncing around and doesn't like it

What are your ov pains like? I'd love to know if what I'm feeling is ov pains, or just trapped wind.

DH has gone out to an awards ceremony tonight, won't be back til one am, so I've written off bd'ing tonight, will sneak one in tomorrow morning before work as I don't start til 11am and dh is working from home tomorrow. I hope I haven't missed the boat. When you feel ov pains, do you ov before, during or after the pains? I hope after cos that's better for tomorrow morning's bd

evie2000 · 27/11/2008 18:57

by the way naiive question here but what is preeseed?
should I be taking it?

smileycat · 27/11/2008 18:37

I take them to & get lots of EWCM at the right time, don't know if its to do with the pills or just me

LollysMum1 · 27/11/2008 18:29

Is anyone else taking Pregnacare Conception? Its meant to help produce EWCM - and either it is working or my body is doing very weird things this cycle! Any other reports?

SuziBhoy · 27/11/2008 17:43

ha we should name this thread courage lol . well done evie, good luck for testing at the weekend..... baby dust to you.
Keep us posted

evie2000 · 27/11/2008 17:34

suzi - i just logged on tempted into testing and saw your message and feel really inspired NOT to test. I just suddenly thought I would in the morning but you repeating what I said really helps - thank you. AF not due until sat or sunday so will probably wait but at least won't test until then at the earliest. thank you again to this thread for keeping me sane!

SuziBhoy · 27/11/2008 16:59

hey everyone........ still no AF and i still have managed to stay away from testing, i like the way you put it evie, more natural to wait and find out when AF arrives, and it saves cash been feeling really crap today so think AF is going to reappear. will keep you all updated though.

just want to say good luck to everyone testing soon....... and happy BDing to the rest

Sans04 · 27/11/2008 12:54

Hi everyone

wow ilikeyoursleeves very good news congratulation it's briliant, big hugsss for you.
Issy thank you very much honey but I think my anger is due to my Af arriving, because I think I started spotting a pink staff already, but I am better than 2 days ago thanks dear.
suzi you're very breave and passion, hung on hopfully you'll get BFP soon
smallone good luck with your blood test and big huges.
Smileycat I have crossed everything for you hope its BFP.
bexa good luck for tomorrow fingures and toes crossed for you.
RipMacWinkle good luck with youe 1WW hope you get the BFP at the end fingers crossed.

smileycat · 27/11/2008 11:56

I'm getting quite a bit of pain in my hips today the sore you get when your having a really bad AF & it hurts all over that area & a wicked headache. I'm not symptom spotting this month so I'm NOT taking it as a sign but its bloodly horrible. If it is a sign I hope its not a taste of whats to come & it'll get worse before it gets better, but I'd gladly suffer it if it means I get a BFP out of it, don't men have it easy
Any answers suzi?????

HeadFairy · 27/11/2008 11:20

Morning all!

Well done at hanging in there suzi... still keeping everything crossed for you

bubblebell.... dh is getting used to his monthly week of fun. Not that he doesn't get it much other times, but every month he gets it 5 nights straight He's off to an awards ceremony tonight, so he's coming home this afternoon to collect his tux, I said to him we have to bd again tonight, so it's either plonk ds in front of the telly and do it before he goes out, or wait til midnight and pounce on him when he's drunk, (I'm pretty tired, and I've got work tomorrow - I could always have a nap in the early evening and wake up when dh comes home....) Hmmm decisions decisions... What would everyone else do?

Does anyone get fed up of the whole tediousness of ttc? It's not so much all the bd'ing, more the timing, knowing you've got to do it when you're shattered/not feeling great/listening to a yelling baby?

I felt so guilty last night as ds woke up crying at about 10.30pm, I went in to give him a cuddle and try and settle him, but he just wouldn't. I put him back in his cot, and he was wailing, but I knew dh was tired, so we bd'd while poor ds wailed. Major guilt attack! We did make it a quickie though and I gave ds a long cuddle until he fell asleep afterwards.

Oh well, I promised myself we'd bd every day this week until saturday, gotta stick to my plan!

Bluesatinsash, thanks for advice re grapefruit juice. I'll keep downing it for another few days just in case. Can't do me any harm despite tasting so grim!

smallone · 27/11/2008 10:51

Thanks girlwithacurl thats reassuring.

suzi any news? fingers crossed.

Didn't manage any bding last night, am hoping I can convince DH tonight but am out selling my wares at a craft fair til 10 tonight, not sure if I'll have the energy! and DH is muttering about doing something to the car, coz its losing water and we're supposed to be going for a long drive tomorrow.

girlwithacurl · 27/11/2008 10:04

smallone re. Ceoliac - my mum is and she had 3 kids no problem at all!

evie2000 · 27/11/2008 09:22

I think the BFN is about the most depressing thing of the whole process. SOmehow getting AF feels a more natural way of finding out.. that line just stares back at you so Bubble if you can resist I would but I know it's so hard. good luck and to all those waiting let's remember that for every bfn there are loads of bfp and it doesn't always have to be bad news. Turn the cup upside down and see the good side of it all (here I am saying that when I feel quite the opposite but anyway) smiles to all for the day ahead.

bubblebell1 · 27/11/2008 08:56

Thanks RipMac. im ok just wishing AF would arrive. didnt think i would ever say that

your right.each time i see the bfn it makes me feel worse and worse so im not gonna test for a few days and see if she arrives. this malarky is driving me up the wall

thanks for letting me vent my woes at you xxxx

RipMacWinkle · 27/11/2008 08:32

Bubblebell - are you ok honey? I hope that the lack of af/bfn isn't getting you down too much.

You sound like me a couple of months back? I'm very regular but I was six whole days late for no reason. It drove me crazy. The only explanation I could come up with was stress due to ttc. I was also testing every morning and it was killing me seeing a bfn each time.

i hope you get a bfp or af arrives soon (only so that you know where you are). x

bubblebell1 · 27/11/2008 08:27

good morning girls!!

suzi u need a medal... i admire you, if it were me i would of tested.... then again i still have no af and i have tested every morning since tuesday.

im not too bothered i just want to try again.
hate waiting for af. altho i am feeling pretty crappy today i have my fingers crossed af arrives tomorrow.

headfairy ive also forewarned dh. he is excited about the whole idea of bding every other night. he thinks its xmas come early

baby dust to all you others waiting to test or on the 2ww.

xxxx
