Hey twoplease i totally agree with you about the amount of action.

The funny thing is back then we are all desperate to get at our DPs/DHs now we all so tired it gets a bit like a chore

Am aiming for night and morning for tonight/tomorrow and saturday and then again on monday. In the full spirit of the DP but adding an extra one per day for good measure

twoplease · 20/11/2008 20:11

hey pinkie - that's really interesting about your opk results. I've ben getting so confused about mine that i think i'm going to give up on them. Like you and theautomatic, we are just going for it with BDing everyday - even last night when i went out and wasn't in until 12.30 (that's a very late night for me.) hoping like mad that one little swimmer is/was lucky

Nearly into the 2ww too Theautomatic. Lets see if I can actually make it to 25 days before AF arrives - not much need for testing early if you have such short cycles, guess that saves a few £!!

I too am wondering how to keep DH interested - don't think we have had this much action since the first year we were together!!!

pinkie08 · 20/11/2008 18:33

hey, would you believe i retested just now as decided i wasnt happy with todays result and got my +ive,

it just shows you, wrong time of day and all that thank goodness i retested.

we have only missed one day this week and made up for that the morning after, and am now planning my bd fest.

How to keep DH from getting bored/tired and not give up too soon

theautomatic · 20/11/2008 17:43

Hey pinkie, hope you do ovulate tomorrow, its so annoying when your body starts acting weirdly and not ovulating when it should do. I bedded for 1 week solid over ovulation so really hoping got all my dates right, though you just never know. Planning on glass of wine tonight to try and relas, af due around 28/s9 of this month so the whirlwind of sympton spotting has begun!

pinkie08 · 20/11/2008 17:36

Hi everyone,

Bit confused this month was expecting to oved by now but the OPKs are -ive. I'm on clomid and this is my 3rd month.

Both previous i have oved quite successfully am hoping it will turn +ive today/tomorrow.

In the mean time i been trying to bd every other as the Deanna Plan and waiting for the bd fest.

Caitni · 18/11/2008 21:13

Hi twoplease I also ov early - anywhere from CD 9 to CD 12 - so am glad you're covering all bases with the bding! It's an excellent strategy and i hope it means you get a BFP!! I had a brilliant weekend away, in spite of the spotting, which was good.

twoplease · 18/11/2008 19:31

hello everyone.

Caitini, sorry that you are feeling down about ttc, you are being good about testing even though you have had spotting - you never know though, will keep everything crossed for you. Did you have manage to have a nice weekend away despite it all?

What you are going through Nomore sounds awful. I guess there is some good news in that you won't have to have too much medical intervention and i hope there is someone to look after you emotionally as well as physically.

Pinkie - i looked at that link you posted - looks good although I have to admit to attempting to bd everyday at the moment - think i ov today (only cd 11 or 12 but have short cycles so possible) so am stupidly hopeful that this will be my month as have managed bd everyday bar one since last weds and intend to continue until the weekend just incase.

hello anyone else i haven't had time to mention,

Caitni · 18/11/2008 15:58

Hi ladies,

Nomore I am so sorry to hear your bad news . Though it's good that you hopefully won't need surgery it's still a terrible thing to get your head around. MrsH over on my usual thread (it's called WIMBEWAIF) has had two EPs this year and is a font of information on EPs if you want to chat with anyone who's been through this (she also started a thread called something like TTC after an Ectopic under the name theunituber). Take care of yourself

Rafiz congrats on your BFP!!! I'm so happy that you got such good news . How are you feeling? Has it sunk in yet?

Congrats to you too Doublehelp - let's hope this bean sticks xx

And hi to all of our ov-ing and bd-ing ladies. Sorry for not saying hi individually to everyone but work's a bit mental today!

I've not actually tested yet, as am pretty convinced that I'm out this month (I had some spotting on Sat and Sunday and that's usually an indication that AF is going to show soon). I felt so battered by ttc on Sunday night that couldn't face Mumnset, but am feeling a bit better now. I just wish that ttc could be easy for us all!!

pinkie08 · 18/11/2008 13:42

nomoremagnolia

so sorry for you ordeal. i hope you can let your body rest and then get back on the ttcing game,

and Gateau you might have seen it before but afew of us are following the sperm meets egg plan

it is meant for those who have had a loss aswell as those wanting some help ttc. You might find it helpful

lots of ((((hugs)))

Gateau · 18/11/2008 09:40

Had medical management for a missed m/c just over two weeks ago - on 1st Nov, had intermittent bleeding for about two weeks - which fingers crossed has now stopped and have now started TTC again. I haven't a clue when I will/or if I have ovulated again, but we are just going for it.
I felt some pain around the left side of my lower abdomen last night; could that be middleschmerz which signals ovulation? maybe that's wishful thinking!

Pezzina · 17/11/2008 19:59

I'm so sorry nomoremagnolia Such sad news. Thank goodness it looks as though you will have a natural m/c - at least an operation is not on the cards. My thoughts are with you and I hope you're getting lots of love and support from your nearest and dearest right now. xx

nomoremagnolia · 17/11/2008 19:03

Blood hcg levels have dropped so I'm waiting for a natural m/c in the next few days.
Hospital are happy to hand me over to my GP for monitoring. Guess it's the best news in the circumstances but I'm feeling more emotionally battered now the immediate worry/anxiety/fear is gone.

twoplease · 14/11/2008 19:58

oh nomore - i'm so sorry to hear about your news it sounds like you really been through it over the last couple of days. i hope you are being looked after and that everything goes as well as these things can - thinking of you xx

(it feels wrong to put this in the same post but don't want to go without saying congrats to rafiz and doublehelp)

Rafiz · 14/11/2008 18:14

I am so sorry nomoremagnolia. What a terrible thing to happen to you. Please look after yourself and stay positive. I know someone who had their embryo and tube removed and still got pregnant.

nomoremagnolia · 14/11/2008 17:43

With apologies for simply copying and pasting from other thread:
Unfortunately I don't have any good news - despite having what I thought was my period two weeks ago I have been diagnosed today with an ectopic pg. Had a bit of brown spotting yesterday and woke in the night with severe cramps on LH side. Rang out of hours GP who said it could be over stimultion on Clomid or ectopic pg. Did pg test, the only time I want a BFN and it's +ive. Straight off to early pg unit who scan me, take blood, poke and prod and confirm ep. Received great care from them and the epu was seperate from normal scanning/ maternity dept, which was really good after knowing some people's experiences. I only knew I was pg after I knew something was wrong so I'm feeling a bit bamboozled by emotions as well as physically being in pain. Am hoping I will m/c naturally as otherwise it means an op to remove the embryo and tube together, which terrifies me. Even if it's natural m/c I will be closely monitored for the next few weeks as they can't take the risk of anything being left behind in the tube.
Guess you'd better take me off the list

Rafiz · 14/11/2008 16:48

Thanks Pezzina Well I have had very sore boobs every day since OV. I usually have this only for a couple of days just before AF.
Today I woke up and they hurt even more so I had a feeling it could show. I bought the First Response Test and it was positive.
Apart from the sore boobs I haven't really felt anything major. A bit sick or tired but could have been for other reasons as well.
I have been taking folic acid for over 2 years ever since we were thinking about trying and a week ago I ran out. I just felt there is no point in rushing and buying a new pack. So I quickly bought them today after the test. Hope it doesn't affect the baby.

Congratulations doublehelp it's great, isn't it?

Caitni have a lovely time in Ireland and want to hear from you on Monday. If I remember right. You are going to test as well. So fingers crossed for you.

theautomatic enjoy all the BD this weekend. Hope it works for you. So far it seems this is going to be a very successful thread.

theautomatic · 14/11/2008 16:26

Caitni, you're in a similar position to me, dh and I commute into London and I have to be out the house by 6.45 to get the train, so theres no chance of us bedding in the morning! Have thought about setting alarm for 5 but to be honest would be to knackered!

Rafiz and doublehelp= congratulations!!! what an excellent start to the weekend for you both!

Lots of bding for me this weekend, cant wait. Though already am imagining symptons from all the bd last week. Have really bad headache and feel a bit faint, of course I know these arent pregnancy symptons as its way to early, but you know how it is.... your mind starts playing tricks on you.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Pezzina · 14/11/2008 16:04

Wow Rafiz CONGRATULATIONS - what a great start to the weekend

Did you have any idea/symptons?

Rafiz · 14/11/2008 15:56

I did a test today and I got a BFP. I can't believe it. I feel like as if I am dreaming.

Good luck to everyone else.

Pezzina · 13/11/2008 17:20

Caitni - enjoy your weekend in Ireland - at least it will stop you from obsessing too much

Doublehelp CONGRATULATIONS!

doublehelp · 13/11/2008 17:15

i got a BFP this morning will be number 3 not getting to excited yet as had a m/c last month, so excited though i had to tell people other the DH

Caitni · 13/11/2008 16:15

Hi twoplease and pinkie (and everyone else )

I also saw ray's sucesss and, while I'm so happy she got her BFP , I don't think there's any way we could manage 17 times over my fertile days! Just reading it made me tired . Me and my DH get up between 6-630am to catch trains to London and bd-ing twice a day is an impossibility during the week (and trust me, we've tried it a couple of times!). But when ov happens at a weekend it's a different story .

Good luck to everyone with bd-ing - it's defintely the fun part of the month. I'm only 7dpo, period due next Tue, but am already knicker-checking. So much for not obsessing this month .

Am glad I'm off to Ireland for the weekend so should hopefully be too busy to obsess (but have snuck some FR hpts into my hand luggage - what DH doesn't know won't hurt him ).

Nomore I saw your thread about your discharge and hope it's nothing alarming, as really got my fingers crossed that you catch this egg this month xxx

I probably won't be back online til Sunday, so hope everyone has a good weekend!

twoplease · 13/11/2008 11:54

morning all,

i also saw Ray 81's success - i was trying to work out if we could manage 17 times in a month and don't think it would be physically possible without giving DD away, doing no housework and not going to work.....

Maybe i should set the alarm for 6 in the morning between days 8-14, it would be the early starts that would exhaust DH not the sex!!!!

have fun away Caitini, hiding hpts is one of my hobbies too!!

pinkie08 · 13/11/2008 11:21

Hi all,

theautomatic I have also started bding, but i read that one of the DP success of Ray81 she bded morning and night on her "3"days and as much as poss in between and on the day after the day of rest.

Phew she must be tired but she got her BFP so am aiming to grab DH as much as poss, this month not going to tell him when oving as thnik it makes it too clinical for the DHs.

I think that we girls can have a plan and go with it but they dont do so well under pressure

twoplease well done for the smear, they really are yucky

Caitni · 12/11/2008 22:22

Hi ladies

Hope everyone's well! Glad to hear of everyone gearing up for bd-fest over their fertile days

Rafiz hey test buddy, also not feeling any symptoms to be honest...am trying not to obsess this month as tomorrow I've got my progesterone test (the day 21 test, but I'm getting it done earlier since my cycles are short) and my day 3 FSH/LH test next Wed, to see what my hormones are doing...so part of my can't help wishing that just because we've started investigations is the very time when we get our BFP!! Wishful thinking I know, but got to stay positive .

Am also going away for the weekend tomorrow night so at least will be too busy to be sneakily taking HPTs (my DH just cannot understand testing early, saying what will be will be ). Roll on Monday/Tues when I'll be able to test.

Fingers crossed AF stays away for us all
xxx
