OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

dramaqueen72 · 04/03/2005 14:06

you really need to hoover????pmsl

yingers74 · 04/03/2005 14:01

Ok should be more positive about it shouldn't I? Plenty of time to worry tomorrow! Today I will just be happy. Tah everyone. Am off to go get another test and then really need to hoover. Will be back later.

yingers74 · 04/03/2005 13:59

I don't know DQ, I am so cautious that I won't believe anything until atter the 12 week stage. I didn't think i would be so scared but I am, even my happiness about it is very under the skin. I feel very contained, a friend called who just had her first baby and could not tell her but am sure she knows something was up as I sounded a bit secretive and on the whole I am as open as a book!!!!!!

george32 · 04/03/2005 13:51

Oh my god...........Yingers that is fantastic news!!!!!!!
I am so pleased for you.

I said March was going to be lucky!

dramaqueen72 · 04/03/2005 13:45

sod unimpressed GPs! who needs 'em!
so how many tests have you taken so far before you believe it???!

yingers74 · 04/03/2005 13:42

tah dq. I am but in a subdued fashion, I keep thinking that perhaps it is a mistake, need to make an appointment with my gp who I am pretty sure is not going to be impressed, oh well.

yingers74 · 04/03/2005 13:40

tah Bella, am terrified! I hope people dont mind me staying on this thread for a while. I don't think I am ready for any of those antenatal threads yet.

dramaqueen72 · 04/03/2005 13:39

YA HA Yingers, our 1st success story.
Am soooooooooooooooooo happy for you

yingers74 · 04/03/2005 13:31

hello everyone, sorry have been run off my feet this morning and have only just got in.

hello slink, welcome to our thread, we are all lovely albeit a little mad at times!

Ok, so did the test and it was positive!!!!! I know this is strange but I actually don't believe it and am going to get hold of one of those that says 'pregnant' to make sure. Especially as not one of those opks said I was ever ovulating.

I am feeling numb which is not what I expected and as yet have told no one but you guys and dh. Don't think I will tell anyone in RL for at least another month or two. I am happy though.

Slink · 04/03/2005 12:20

Yingers hi it's me....

Thank you for the welcome may go to acupunture even though it hurt.. my ov week is next week so here's hoping.

Bella23 · 04/03/2005 11:19

Mizzan - welcome
Yes this is the right place for the cautious
Still waiting myself to see if cycles return after m/c. I am on second cycle and am hoping they will settle down.
Never got to grips with OPKs so no thoughts on that.

MizZan · 04/03/2005 11:06

Hi ladies - have been lurking here and would love to join your thread as I am TTC but definitely cautious, and just starting to feel ok post-miscarriage. could use some moral support and think this might be the place for it! Here are my stats:
me: 38
DH: 41
ttc no. 2
have sweetie pie DS age 3
miscarried at 6 weeks in early Jan 05. Now on cycle 2 post-mc. CD 27 (!) but no sign of ovulation according to OPKs - not sure if it didn't happen this month or I just missed it somehow. cycle was 35 days last time, not sure if it will be back to normal 28 but doesn't seem like it.

romilly · 04/03/2005 10:47

hi everyone - rom here, dashing in and out (no time as usual) just to say thinking of mish and ying.
nice to see some new faces, hi prunegirl, slink and sistermoon.

george32 · 04/03/2005 10:25

So many cautious TTCers!!
Hello to Slink & Prunegirl.
Hi Sistermoon - sounds like you are in a similar place to me with your cycle. I'm still holding the record for the longest one though!
Hereshoping so glad to see you here, think we are all wanting, but dreading, that BFP for the same reasons as you. I'm hoping that we all get p/g at a similar time so we all still have each others support moving forwards too. I'm thinking that time moves slowly now - what will it be like for the first 12 weeks. Agony I imagine.
Thanks DQ, darkish line yesterday so who knows!! Did you have a nice meal last night? Any special occasion?
Yingers - any news????
