Our girl was made at Hammersmith - the staff were good- and the embryologist (Yvonne) was wonderful. She really took her time to talk to us and gave us the confidence to keep going even though we only had three eggs - and the docs had suggested we should abandon the cycle.
We found you have to trust their advice and expertise but also trust your instincts. Fertility Friends co uk was VERY helpful while going through assisted conception treatments. MN was (and is) great for companionship and FF was excellent for finding other couples going through the same thing at the same time... we always got responses to even the oddest of questions!

Thanks Gilly.
Ready put a post for me on the postnatl thread but I think she may have taken the MN break before I replied.
Please can you tell Ready there is hope for long term ttcers! I am enormously grateful to say our second attempt at IVF resulted in the birth of our wonderful daughter on 6/7/8.
Please send her my love.
How are you doing Gilly? TTC (and FTC) is the most depressing experience of my life - I hope things happen for you soon.
