very faint line on a clear blue?

Im due on either sunday or monday, just taken a test with a clear blue, and it wasnt first morning urine, its come up with a faint line going up on the bottom half of the window. Any ideas anyone, I feel pregnant, this will be my fifth pregnancy if I am so I can kinda tell the signs, I have incredibly bad heartburn, metallic taste, boiling hot, sense of taste and smell has gone mental.

I'm gonna do another test tomorrow, but I think it could be a positive, as soon as I did the test there was a faint line on the left hand side of the bottom bit, but as 10 mins has gone by the line has become slightly darker just at the bottom.

Help please!!!!

Certainly sounds positive. Your much more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. My advice would be to step away from the tests for a couple of days and test again mid-week. Fingers are tightly crossed for you.

Hi wondering if any one can help me I done 5 cheap tests 3 positive 2 negative so today I went and got a clear blue early as I was due on yesterday and a very very faint line has came up I’m so confused as at the beginning of the year I had a ectopic pregnancy and had my tube removed any body no ??

Hi kgalway that test is positive!! When did you MC? Have you had a BFN post MC to confirm everything had gone?? Sorry if that sounds blunt but I had BFps for 9 weeks past MC

Hey looking a bit of help i was due af yesterday and am normally very regular. Still nothing today so did a cb test and has shown a dark blue negative and a very faint blue line going through it like its very faint positive. Im vety worried as have recently had m/c.

Any body any advice

I took a clear blue test earlier and a very faint line vertically down appeared almost immediately. The line is very faint but it was definitely there, it was not my first wee of the day I took the test at about 1430. I was due on today but still no period.

Do I get excited or not.? I have lower back ache and sore boobs which would normally indicate my period. But I've had nothing?

Opinions Please? HELP??

I had similar probs this week - used a Boots one and couldn't decide if there was a cross in the box or just a control line, it was so faint - then used a Clear Blue and got the result I wanted

Thanks!!! I was not wanting to believe I was, so this morning I thought I'll do the clear blue digital and if thats negative then I definitely arent pregnant cos I'm due on tomorrow so I thought after that I would be able to let it go and leave it at that, I was well shocked when "pregnant" popped up!!!

Cant believe it!!!

I am absolutely shocked!!! I had only just decided to start trying like 2 weeks ago!! I'm 34 too so thought there was no way I would get pregnant straight away like I have done in the past but its there clear as a clear blue!! omg!!! I'm absolutely gobsmacked!!!!!

Well I have just done a clear blue digital and its come up positive!! No disputing that one!! Says right there "pregnant"!! Nearly died when I saw it!!! So thanks everyone for your help, just gotta get hold of other half to tell him!!!

Fedup - Your poor DP, although I do understand. I actually think you are PG, but it's still very early...I think you'll get better positives Sunday and Monday, but you'll probably get one tomorrow morning too. I have a real dislike for FR...just a personal thing and trust CB way more.

Thanks for being so helpful, I took a first response on Tuesday, when I was 5/6 days away from period, it was neg, then another first response on weds, again neg, then a clear blue today with a faint half liner and then after another first response which produced a negative so not a bloody clue whats going on.

I am gonna try not to think about it now, have made my other half stay away for the night as seeing him just reminds me all the more!!

Oh also want to point out the FR wording and packaging is sneaky! It's not actually much more sensitive than the CB ones. It markets as being 6 days before....but actually before you are over due. I think there's about a day in it between the two and your tea drinking was probably the result of the BFN.

Thank you, I will try but I am now talking myself out of doing the test tomorrow incase it shows another negative cos with me not being due on till sun/mon I will convince myself that I could still be pregnant but that it was just too soon, so I am thinking why dont I just leave it and see if I get my period but I think I will scream if I have to wait much longer.

I remember having all this after I miscarried and was pregnant with my son and I kept jumping the gun and taking the tests too early, I was pregnant like but I got a few negatives first and the waiting and wondering is just awful isnt it?

Thanks though, I will try and forget about it now.

Tests will get darker sometimes, think it depends on how wet with wee they get!

If you can't wait til morning then 4 hours is needed after last drinking and weeing before you can test again.

You should get a clearer result in the morning...
