Thanks diege, i started a thread on here and on somewhere else, and have had a couple of responses to both, just letting it all out helps in a way as i realise i'm worrying about what might happen. I could be ok when i come off it.

Have spent most of the afternoon led on the couch feeling sorry for myself.. its starting to pass now though.

Been quiet on here today, everyone else done some fun and exiting things???

Diege · 20/09/2008 09:37

x-posts Glask and Tinks! GLASK, I am sure many women stay on the meds all throughg pregnancy - after all, the major organs are formed now, so safe I would think? Have you tried speaking to someone on the Blooming Awful website? They have trained peope on the phones and give brilliant advice. They've all had hyperemesis, and are in the know about the drugs etc. Maybe worth looking on the website?
Right, I'm not here!

Diege · 20/09/2008 09:34

Morning! Wow sounds a busy day SES - take it as easy as you can - also tomorrow with the packing. On mum front, will be hard to keep it from her if you're feeling nauseaus...just depends how much you think she'll go into stress-out mode, and if this would make you more stressed iyswim! Maybe play it by ear? Get an early one tonight and have lots of rich tea snacks?
Morning WILSON! Sorry about your cold . Makes everything seem a million times harder to do!
Well I'd better get going. DH has taken dds to the park so that I can brave the PO in relative peace, yet here I am in my dressing gown..Speak later x

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 20/09/2008 09:34

Morning Ladies....

on the subject of my meds i had already reduced my medication to only a morning and bedtime dose, which worked fine, sometimes i'd feel a bit groggy in an evening before my last dose but was coping all day when the kids were up fine... last night i cut my last dose in half too to try and help but was up all night throwing up, DH went to work at 7am, and i had my morning dose then, put a video on in the kids room for them and just got 2 hrs sleep I think he just feels i'm dependent on it maybe... he's not the best GP really but he was good and gave me the meds at 6wks so i trust he's doing the right thing... i just feel i'm gonna get really bad really fast and end up in hospital and that scares me as i hated it with DS. I see my midwife on weds so can always talk to her.

anyway, instead of me panicking and crying my eyes out (like i am at the mo about it- blame the hormones and tiredness)... DH starts his week holiday tomorrow which is exiting, means i can rotate lie-ins with him and finally get some blimin sleep!!

Last night I went to the World championship fireworks with the kids and my sisters... the kids loved them!! it was China's display this week and they were the best of the 4 weeks!! Hope they win and get to do another display next weekend!!

Right i'm off to get the kids dressed.... think its gonna be a PJ/house slacks day!!

Nat... you sound pooped hon, when are you due?

Everyone else... Hi

SesHasapinkline · 20/09/2008 07:35

Morning all!
Well I woke up at 3.30am and couldn't get back to sleep. Lay in bed with crap telly on until about 6am when I started getting sleepy again but I had to get up at 6.30am as I've got to go to work today!
Don't feel too bad actually and only slightly nauseous this morning.

It's going to be a busy day as I've got one of my stores being refitted this week so today we're completely destocking all the drugs in the dispensary and transferring them to a temporary dispensary whilst the builders do us a new dispensary over the next week!

Tomorrow DH is off to Ireland for the day(!) to watch the all Ireland final of the gaelic football. The plan is that I get mum to come round and help me pack up the house. She's offerred to do me lunch (parents only live about 3 min drive away) and I just don't know whether I'm going to be able to hide my queasiness from her. If I tell her she's likely to fuss and then if anything goes wrong at my scan, she and Dad are meant to be going on holiday that week and I know she'll threaten to cancel the holiday. Thus I'd rather not tell her but not sure I'll be able to keep it a secret...

Anyway, enough about me!

tink - your shopping skills never cease to amaze me. That cot and mattress sound like real bargains! Enjoy your wedding anniversary. Sounds like a good day planned.

NJ - I don't know where you get your energy from! Good luck with your long weekend!

Hello to everyone else and have a good day

OP posts:
2beautifulgalsandabean · 19/09/2008 20:25

Tink- are you getting the Buzz 3 or 4?

Heebeejeebee · 19/09/2008 19:32

Poor you, Ses. Hopefully you're nearly there...

NJ - I'm exhaused by that list!

Our plans are going out for breakfast, dinner and having some friends round for a bbq on Sunday (well, we figure we might as well get it all in now before we (hopefully) have children and have to find babysitters etc!

Oooh, tink, I was tempted by the quinny buzz!

Have good weekends all!

tinkcantwaitfor3dscan · 19/09/2008 19:27

oh poor ses i am sure it will all go smoothly

i have just ordered pink car seat for dd, and cot (only £50) and mattress (only £30)for baby it is very exciting

tomorrow ordering quinny buzz plus accessories and her xmas pressies on elc

we are off in the morning on our own all day while my parents babysit dd @ our house going off to southampton to have lunch out and look around. is our 5th wedding anniversary tom

you sound like you have very productive plans nat

Diege · 19/09/2008 18:21

very for you SES. You're right, if they're going to exchange then why delay about it?? Not long to go now hopefully...
NAT - you've given a whole new meaning to the phrae 'long weekend' Sounds totally exhausting to me, though I'm sure the final results will be worth it
Well have had left-overs from dds tea - not the sort I like (ie, fish fingers) but healthy-ish and it'll save me bothering later...
If I don't get a chance to get on again later, hope everyone has a good night/weekend, and speak soon xx

SesHasapinkline · 19/09/2008 18:04

RANT ALERT!!!

We have still not exchanged contracts!
They still think we can move next Friday but ut doesn't give us long and I guess we just have to take a risk on booking the removals. If we don't end up moving we could lose £800
They have guaranteed that the last bit of paperwork from our buyers arrived at 5pm this afternoon so there is no problem but it just feels like they keep making excuses and I don't understand why!?

RANT OVER!!!

Nice to see this thread filling up so quickly already

Weekend plans: I think everyone knows mine.

Saturday, clear out DS1's room.
Sunday, paint, the now, DS1 and 2's room.
Monday, (part of weekend because DH is off) DH putting up new curtains and light fitting etc. in the morning, carpet fitters are doing the carpet in the afternoon, DH putting furniture in Monday night.
Tuesday, (also part of the weekend, but only because if I mark it as a weekday in my head I'll not do it) get DS1's and 2's crap stuff in there and sort DS2's old room for stuff to chuck out, stuff for the charity shop, and stuff I might be brave enough to list on eBay!

I'm knackered already....

tinkcantwaitfor3dscan · 19/09/2008 17:07

gr8 news teuch you take care

have decided to go for pink britax evolve is so sweet. dd is so small she will easily be in it till she is 11 years old.
cant use it with lap belt and no harness till they are 15kg she will be 6-7 years when that weight

lardybump · 19/09/2008 17:06

Please ladies come and join me, some adult company would be lovely....

Weekend plans well I am working all day tomorrow again. And sunday is my dads 70th birthday so will be going to see him. He doesn't want a fuss and is going to a dog show (he shows whippets). I am going to turn up with a big 70 balloon and a cake the works. Dont know if he will laugh or shout at me to be honest but can not let the day pass without a comment.

I wanted to get him a day racing at brands hatch but he wouldnt hear of me spending that much money on him . I also dont know weather the insurance would cover him as he is disabled...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/09/2008 17:02

Speak of the devil.... Hiya Teuch! Glad things seem to have settled down

Evening LB, dinner sounds good

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/09/2008 17:01

So nice to see so many of the oldies back Are there anymore missing? Teuch? LG&T has shown her face on the due in Jan thread, her loverboy had been back so they have been.... erm... busy

Glask, also hoping the sickness is wearing off at the same time as dropping the meds. Is there any reason why you can't go back on them if the sickness is still as bad?

Star, Again hoping the sickness is going to tail off soon, can't be much fun.

Heebee, enjoy the weekend, fingers crossed for scan next week, will you let us know what happens?

Diege, I think the job sounds ace! I didn't have anything except the odd BH with DS1, DS2, well if you ever have a spare couple of days search the archives for my labour thread(s) LOL I honestly don't think I'd have kept it together if it hadn't have been for the labour threads, we had such a giggle and everytime I felt like just chucking it all in and doing anything at all to get him out they picked me up and offered LDC by the plate full And then once I'd got to 37 weeks and I was good to go, I had Lulu educating DH on DIY sweeps, poor DH spent the last week of DS2's pregnancy sniffing my knickers to see if the fluid I was leaking was my waters LOL It is is funny looking back now, but knowing I have it all to come again is a lot little bit fucking scary

2BG, there is a small amount of info here (just enough to give a round up, not enough to bore) It is actually the first time I have googled IU, didn't know it can and more often than not does actually lead to prem labour, I might be a little more aware from now on... Still none the wiser re. nursery stuff, I am still trying to find the right furniture, thought I'd decided on oak, but not so sure with those two nursery ranges, think they need a warmer colour wood...

Hiya GJ Certainly has been a long time, too long! Where did you go on your holiday?

Tink, if DS1's booster is anything to go by, I can fit in it - and that is saying something, there aren't many things my arse fits in to!

Phew, is that everything?

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 19/09/2008 16:58

hullo peeps! Just whizzing by to make sure you are on 'my threads'

I am following everyone's news (I think ) I just struggle to do the round-up thing...

Things much more settled here, no more show, no more contractions, less worry about helicopters

Take care all.

Diege · 19/09/2008 16:57

Set another plate for me LB . Dinner sounds great! Dh is going out for a curry tonight, so contemplating having tea with dds or having some blurghy pasta dish later on (not a pasta lover).
GJ, are you OK? I noticed the sad little face there . Is it because of all the pregnancy announcements?
Plans for the weekend everyone? Looks like beign a sunny one according to forecast . We've got a barbeque invite for Sat (childrens' party with bouncy castle etc)then over to Wales for my mum's birthday on Sun

tinkcantwaitfor3dscan · 19/09/2008 16:50

lardybump · 19/09/2008 16:49

lardybump · 19/09/2008 16:48

Hi everyone, sorry i havne't been on for agessss.
Been spending time with my nan, she is finding things very hard, so inbetween spending time with her, the school runs, cooking, cleaning, sleeping not time for much else

i've had a quick read through.
NJ- sorry about the contractions, does sound like a massive PITA. Never heard of it before might have to go goggle later is it irritable uterus? Did you make a decision on the nursery theme?

Diege- sounds like you have everything set to go. What CD are you on?

Tink- Car seat looks like a good price, and will last a long time.

Sorry if i have missed anyone. Got to go get DD2 from school.

I'm not feeling too bad at all, which is quite scary 5 weeks today was feeling sicky last week but gone now.
See midwife in 2 weeks.

Be back later.
