Thanks Kooky! The pre-seed is waiting ominously on the window sill, so tonight it the night!
Good luck with OFSTED! I still remember the panic when we had HEFCE round (HE equivalent) All those perfect lectures and up to date admin

kookykid · 27/09/2008 18:55

Hi all,

I had such good intentions for being better at keeping in touch, but we found out last week we have OFSTED coming in next week. Pretty unlucky! So have been stressing a lot and in work on my day off and all day today. Haven't even had my 1st pay-check yet!!! So anyway ttc is taking a back seat this month. As is the rest of my life!

Diege - get GOFing! Def today and tomorrow I'd say and try for a morning one too!

Hi everyone else!

Diege · 27/09/2008 18:03

Anyone about? I've just got a line on my OPK - same colour as control line, so assume I should gof tonight???? Never ever had a line before so all new for me (hope LB's last post is prophetic .
Thing is, I've not got EWM yet, so thinking should maybe hold off till tomorrow?? Or do it tomorrow as well???

lardybump · 27/09/2008 17:22

Hi Happy . Good to hear from you, and glad you're feeling better Can't believe you're almost 20 weeks
Everything's ticking along on the wogon nicely - lots of BFPs, me and CALS sadly gearing up to ttcing again after mcs (sorry, can't remember when it was you last posted . SES has her scan on Monday (8 weeks), TINKS is clearing the shops for the rest of us, NAT has a curious problem with fanjo farts (she doesn't like talking about it), GLask is getting there sickness-wise but has been very poorly, LB has had a few shaky weeks, but is fighting fit again (ask her MIL BB is gearing up for Xmas ttc-ing...um what else??? I've missed out loads, but that's all my short-term memory can hold I'm afraid!! Oh yes SES and HEEBS are moving any day now...

happynappies · 27/09/2008 15:53

Hello all - sorry I haven't been around in ages - have been quite ill with morning sickness and unbelievably tired, so MN has taken a bit of a back seat! Have got my 20 week scan this week, and feel a bit more like myself although still tired.

How is everyone? Good to see some familiar names and hello to all the new arrivals. Hope you're all doing well. Will try to catch up a bit more now

Diege · 27/09/2008 15:36

HI BB, good to hear from you . Sounds like it's been a bit stressful in the BB household this week (who is the bitch you speak of?? [nosey].
Your work/life plans sound good - wish I'd downgraded to part time with dd1 in a way, but am happy with 4 days a week at the momemt .
Just been to village with dd3 - bought her a huge toy dolphin from a charity shop for a £1 that I had to lug up hill. Just waiting for the others to get back, a few hours of chaos (they're hard work today!) and then x-factor (oh and a small matter of writing that module - thank god for Wikipaedia )

BBeingpatient · 27/09/2008 14:21

yeah defo, and im planning to go back pt, for maybe 2days a week, they are really positive so im sure it'l be ok, plus working two days a week gives me a real chance to be me but still spend majority of time with lo so best of both me thinks.

its been all drama in the bb household of late whaty with the bitch last night, and DP had his bag pinched weds, luckily only his keys in it and they dumped it so he got it back with keys, but still!! bloody feckers of the world eh lol are you getting excited for new lo LB?xx

lardybump · 27/09/2008 14:15

They will have to deal with it.......

BBeingpatient · 27/09/2008 14:09

yeah defo LB!! can defo feel the change in myself now that i love my job! only slight worry is how they'l react to the news but guess thats just one of those things, cant wait any longer!!! xx

lardybump · 27/09/2008 13:41

Thanks BB glad you are back..... Roll on the new year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BBeingpatient · 27/09/2008 13:23

lardybump · 27/09/2008 12:16

Oh I might finish at the end of December in that case as I will be 32 weeks then...

You are right about MIL I am getting seriously pissed off with her.. But at the same time I do realise that I am blowing a lot of it up in my head and that life would be a lot easier if I could just laugh at it.....

Diege · 27/09/2008 12:00

28 weeks I think LB is the earliest you can take it from.
Bloody hell your MIL is a nightmare . You're right, measles would be spotted a mile off by your GP - plus the, err, MMR sort of prevents it happening?????!!!! Sounds like she's trying to wind you and dp up

lardybump · 27/09/2008 11:41

LB snap out of this mood will you!!!! Come on ladies come make me laugh and make me get out of this nasty mood...... When is the earliest I can start my maternity leave?? I was going to leave it as late as possiable but may start it before that as the 6 day week is really getting me down now.

lardybump · 27/09/2008 11:30

Oh bless him for trying though.... When DD is better I will send her up so your sons can teach her.... Hows that....

NJ you managed to make me smile for a bit then, that was until: DP has just called and said MIL thinks the rash on dd is (or at least looks like) measels. This is dispite the fact that I rushed her to GP yesterday (who would know measels if he saw it)and he said it was nothing to worry about and that she has had the MMR...... I bet he will be thinking that now, it will be going around and around in his head and he will want me to call NHS direct later for a second oppinion...... After all MIL has years of medical background doesn't she

Diege · 27/09/2008 11:28

Nice try Nat...
Thanks LB - hope you're right. I'm seriously broody at the moment!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 27/09/2008 11:22

No, DH won't touch a warm beer, it has to be ICE cold (literally with little bits of frozen beer floating in it!)

DS2 has time to learn yet

lardybump · 27/09/2008 11:20

LOL I hope your dh drank it after all ds2's effort!!

lardybump · 27/09/2008 11:19

Diege keep the dress you will be up the duff before you know it......

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 27/09/2008 11:18

LOL DS2 bought DH a beer last night, shame it wasn't a cold one out of the fridge!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 27/09/2008 11:18

What fanjo fart story? No idea what you're talking about...
