Hi I'm waiting to ttc, just going through a second mc this year, but wanted to join a ttc thread so I was looking forward rather than back. I'm actually looking forward to ttc, we think we'll start after Christmas, which isn't too far away.

tinkisgoingtohaveapumpkin · 17/10/2008 13:23

i am over in an thread too

tinkisgoingtohaveapumpkin · 17/10/2008 13:10

thanks diege she has been waking in night for over a month.i watch 2 much supernanny.

hope you get nits sorted

just as i thought that dd was getting better she has come home got all teary @ lunch table and didnt want any lunch . now i have looked @ her legs and they are covered in spots. said she is feeling poorly have given a tiny amount of calpol.
@ her nursery there have been confirmed cases of chickenpox, viruses and foot and mouth
looks like she has got her 1st nursery illness.
i am going to keep an eye on her legs
at least she seems to be back to her old self in terms of behaviour is finally listening to what i say and doing what she is told

GYo · 17/10/2008 12:46

Hi Tink! Good luck at mothercare and Toysrus!

Diege sorry to hear about nits. Hope getting rid of them is easy.

Interesting re kids getting up in night. Friend has this issue with her 7yr old at the moment. waking 3/4 times a night, also getting upset when she wakes up alone in night. Think they are trying everything.

Diege · 17/10/2008 12:16

Hi TINK! Sounds like you're gettign dd's waking sorted. That's what we did, keep on putting them back in, minimum talking, and then I think they think there's no point as they don't get attention for it. Would be good to have it sorted for dd2
Have just spotted a crawling nit on dd3's head . Seems like the stuff we put on last week needs doing again!

tinkisgoingtohaveapumpkin · 17/10/2008 10:50

morning

ses - poor you with dog glad that you found him ok

cantwfx - it is so exciting when you stop takingthe pill

kay - time off work sounds good

diege - sorry for all the waking at least you got back to sleep.
harvey is a great name for cockatiel sounds cute.
not long till drs exciting

gyo - i remember being bloated

dd is @ nursery have hoovered and cleaned abit.
going to watch tv in a min before i go and get her.
dd is getting better @ night woke once for a wee @ 3am and normally wont go back to sleep. kept putting her back in when she got out only got out twicethen stayed in bed asleep till 6am.

i am going to look in toysrus and mothercare tomorrow for baby to ideas

Diege · 17/10/2008 10:00

Oh and cockatiel is called Harvey (dds' choice). They also liked 'Billy Baker' but settled for Harvey in the end. Dh thought immediately of Jordan's son!
Right, off to brave PO before class, speak later x

Diege · 17/10/2008 09:59

Yep, Monday it is GYO . Nicely arrnaged so that it's not worth going into work

GYo · 17/10/2008 09:53

Diege- remind me when you GP appt is? is it on Monday?

GYo · 17/10/2008 09:47

Does the cockatiel have a name - sounds so cool!

LOL about Asda showing Corrie- thats devotion!

Diege · 17/10/2008 09:42

The cockatiel was a 'distraction' from the lost cat, but he's only just now started to get tame enough for the dds to be interested. He's only a baby (11 weeks)and is so cute - will crouch down so you can scratch his neck, and also likes kisses etc...bit scary with that beak!
I'm sure your bump will pop out soon - remember the bloating feeling well (in fact I don't think it's ever gone away!).

Looking forward to Corrie tonight - they have it on the local Asda on a big screen too, it's that important round here

GYo · 17/10/2008 09:37

Morning Diege
That sounds like a rough night... hope you are not to tired today. Didnt know you had a cockatiel. Thats very cool- bet the DDs love that Yay for the symptoms too. Nothing like sore boobs for re-assurance!

Things are good with me thanks for asking. SOoooooo glad its friday. Keep thinking I've got a huge bump then realise its bloating too so not so big. Which is a relief because the bloatedness feels tight and horrid!

Enjoy Jingles class (not quite sure what it is but it sounds fun!)
