It certainly is! I found up to 9/10 weeks went slow and then all of a sudden the time just went so quick!

SesHasapinkline · 09/10/2008 19:16

GruffaloSoldier · 09/10/2008 19:12

Hi Ses,

sorry for your cold too.

I started off a 30 G and by 8 weeks I was a 30 GG, but havent increased anymore. (Im thirteen weeks today). May do a bit more I suppose. Only time will tell

SesHasapinkline · 09/10/2008 19:01

Hi! Sorry not been on all day - had an all day meeting, and whilst I'm on leave too!

Diege - still got a nice warm happy feeling after your news

Kay - great to hear from you. You have 9 weeks to go and I'm only 9 weeks in!

All snotty people - I need to join the club! Don't think I'm sufferring quite as much but definite painful throat and sneezly snotty nose

DH says my boobs are bigger and I think he may be right! I've heard you can go up 3 cup sizes. Well starting off as a DD cup, I may end up with back pain! Does the back measurement increase as well? Think my belly's swelling too. Hope this means all's ok still...!

OP posts:
GruffaloSoldier · 09/10/2008 18:25

Hi Kay! 9 weeks - wow!

Im feeling dreadful got really bad sinuses now, my head is pounding - boo!

Not sure about celebrating. May go out with uni friends when one gets back from Thailand.

Diege - my results should be delivered by post tomorrow - although I wouldn't be surprised if they were delayed.

Ugh - I feel gross

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 09/10/2008 17:52

oh wow kay

Diege · 09/10/2008 17:50

Kayz HELLO!!!!! . Have really missed your posts, and can't believe you've just 9 weeks to go . Where has the time gone???

kayzisexpecting · 09/10/2008 17:22

BOO!!!

Just popped on at the library. Just here to say hello and that with any luck I should be back online from the 23rd October!!!

I know I have missed about 1 million BFPs probably and random other stuff.

Hope everyone is ok.

9 weeks to go!!! ARGH!!!!!!

Diege · 09/10/2008 16:36

By the way would anyway like a free copy of Junior magazine Oct/Nov? (the pregnancy and baby one)? I seem to have acquired 2 copies and am happy to post it free to whoever shouts first!

Diege · 09/10/2008 14:39

Afternoon . Sorry for all the horrible colds - awful at the best of times, and more so in pregnancy.
Good going on the shopping front NAT and TINKS - I'm waiting for payday when the first of the payments for the extra work I'm doing should come through, then I'm having a splurge of clothes for dds. Having 3 to clothe is sooo expensive, and a hundred quid goes virtually nowwhere!
GRUFF - remember you finishing the Masters -when are results due again? Def. celebration in order I think!
GYO, re: colour and pregnancy it's only my extreme post-mc paranoia that made me request highlights rather than full root colour (ie, doesn;t touch scalp). Some people (not my midwife or consultant) recommend waiting 12 weeks for colour, but there's really no compelling scientific evidenece to support this. There is something about colour not taking so well in pregnancy, but that's about it. FWIW I coloured every 3 weeks from finding out to labour with all 3 dds to no ill effects! (and walking around with roots for 9 months would most certainly bring on depression for me!).
Desperately trying to get hoiuse tidy, but fighting a losing battle . Off to get dds in 5, so speak later .
Oh and thanks again for the congrats - it really does mean a lot

GYo · 09/10/2008 13:53

Thanks Nat- i am sure that the angel isnt as good as the equipment the MW uses. Looking forward to hearing what we can.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/10/2008 13:49

GYo, you just have to keep in mind that just because you may not find the HB it doesn't mean it isn't there. After I found it the first time I've never not found it since, but I hope know that if the day came when I couldn't find it, I would try not to fly off the deep end. It has certainly given me reassurance over the last few months, never even a minute of worry.

tinkisgoingtohaveagirl · 09/10/2008 13:47

poor ladies with colds
wow very grown up nat.
have decided to stick 2 one more outfit as also asda outfits only go up 2 nine pounds in first size the tesco ones go up 2 11lbs.

GYo · 09/10/2008 13:45

Glad it went well Gruff- so exciting shareing the news! Though we still havent told everyone! Just kind of havent got around to it! Might do last group after the 20wk scan.

Am a bit better thanks for asking Gruff but coughing like a dirty old man still

Nat- hope you dont get "the cold"- but definately isnt as bad as having flu near due date! that must have been hell

Great to buy your DS a proper wallet- definately grown up now! Bet he loves its

Yesterday (at 3pm) ordered a doppler (angel sounds) and its just arrived! Such great service from them. So excited- Said to DH I'd wait for him to come home before trying it on the bean but just heard my own heartbeat which was freaky!

My sister keeps saying its a source of unnecessary worry!- pah to her!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 09/10/2008 13:39

Feel very sorry for those of you with the dreaded colds, I am very overdue one, both the boys have got one, DH has had one, I am still breathing freely, for now! Just hope it doesn't go like last time, I had (on top of all the contractions!) real proper flu the week of my due date, I was not a happy bunny, can remember lying on the sofa with DH, wailing that I couldn't give birth with a snotty nose... LOL Of course a snotty nose during labour would have been the least of my worries but there is nowt like the wails of a very pregnant person LOL

Have been into town again (told you didn't I?!) have bought DS1 his first proper grown up 'mans' wallet.... i.e. no spiderman or England slogans/logos in sight He is growing up too fast.... (but if he gives me his cold I will take it back to the shop )

Gruff, have you anything planned to celebrate your results?

GruffaloSoldier · 09/10/2008 13:27

Right I am off to brush my hair as it resembles a birds nest > and madly dash to work. I dont want to go

'see' everyone later!

GruffaloSoldier · 09/10/2008 13:22

hi gyo. Nah dont worry, I know loads of people who are ill so its one of them methinks!lots of vicious bugs out there at the mo!

Telling went very well - have had so many messages on facebook, its great that its public now. I go to a toddler/baby group with little girl i look after and all the mums are thrilled for me its so nice!

Re: cold and pregnancy - its terrible! i dont want to take anything so had honey and lemon in hot water yesterday. was pretty grim but allowed me to get to sleep at least!

are you feeling better now?

GYo · 09/10/2008 13:10

ooh hope i didnt pass my bug to your over the 331!!

GYo · 09/10/2008 13:09

Hi Gruff
Another june birthday! wow! that makes 4 so far.
Sending over my cold/ bug sympathies! Really rubbish isnt it. Im sure its worse for being pregnant- most things are though really! Unless its a particularly vicious strain of a cold. I've never blown my nose this much before!

Such a nice day out too... seems a shame to
be on the sofa...

How did the telling everyone go (about the baby!)?

Good luck with the masters results- keep us posted!

GruffaloSoldier · 09/10/2008 12:38

Hi all!

CONGRATULATIONS DIEGE!!!

So happy for you and there seems to be a lot of us with birthdays in June as mine is 25th!

Also LOVE wispas tink/cosmo

I have the post horrific cold and sore throat so have been in bed most of the morning and am now on sofa with a blanket too Gyo. It is so horrible

Cosmogirl · 09/10/2008 12:19

Hi Tink - clothes sound lovely Part of me would love this baby to be a little girl so I can go shopping for all frilly, girly pink things!

I'll join the wispa fan club too. So pleased they are back again. DH came home the other night with two wispas for me and the Sex and The City movie, extended edition. Twas a very happy bunny! Supposed to be working from home today bit am very unmotivated and have been doing some housework instead....naughty me....Bring on le weekend!

GYo · 09/10/2008 12:12

GYo · 09/10/2008 10:56

Morning all

Still very excited here for Diege. Amusing re DH's comment and the GOFing- seems to be the common theme!

Hope you enjoyed the hairdressers
(PS what exactly is the issue with colour and being preg? I didnt tell them last time, kind of forgot but going this sat and wonder if I should mention it...)

Lovely re June due date and birthdays. Mine is 10th! its a lovely month for a baby and a birthday, of course!

Weather in my bit 'down south' is sunny and blue skys...

Still on sofa with blanket (well, techically I only just got up but still..) if it wasnt for the work guilt and the coughing etc, I'd almost enjoy it.

Cosmogirl · 09/10/2008 09:46

Congratulations Diege! Really happy for you You are one fertile myrtle.
